I am lucky that with the work I do, I meet a lot of new people. So I try to spread the word as much as I can, I that this is very important. I am not trying to be pushy or boring. I ask did you hear about it on not and if they show an interest, just then I start ranting about it.

There are many people actually that I meet that would like to hear a bit more about it but they had no one to explain it to them.

whenever i want to introduce bitcoin to any of my friends additional to introduction in my own words i give Link to bitcoin.org and then instead of using a third party i make a pc wallet and send some coins to it to get them started.

but most of all i am currently looking for some youtube videos, because watching a video is much easier than reading a lot of text.

I do some of the stuff you mentioned , I also contacted Webzen (big company that own some known MMORPG Games) but they said they will transfer this to the convenient department and that kind of shit that means "NO" with a nice way .
I contacted also QFX Software (KeyScrambler creators) and they said that they are already planning to do that and it's currently under developpement .
I think we could do a lot of things only by using Change.org personally and contact a lot of important and huge comapnies and they may start accept bitcoin (depends on amount of signatures we collect)

I've mainly spread the word to my family members and some of them have bought a fraction of bitcoin because of it. Other than that, people seems sceptical or just don't want to bother buying it (these also don't bother to buy stocks or something).

I stopped talking about bitcoin, since most people approach such topics with great suspicion for whatever reason.
Occasionally tho, i end up mentioning it, but try my best to stay quiet. If people are interested in a tool like bitcoin, they will find it without anyone talking them into anything.

Lately I'll only speak about Bitcoin if someone asks about it. It can sound cultish if you just bring it up all the time. And usually I like to know what aspect of it they are interested in first to better cater to their use-case.

I spend a lot of time and money to promote Bitcoin daily.... I have a small system, when I introduce people to Bitcoin. First tell them... if they come back to ask questions.. I

demonstrate it to them, by creating a web based  wallet and a paper wallet. I then transfer some Satoshi's to them for them to play with... usually $1 to $5. It's always easier

when people do it hands on... My success stories in ratio = 4 out 5 start to use Bitcoin.  Grin .... Most times, the people send me some money back in gratitude for showing it to them.

Wow! That's really imressive. I'm spreading the advantages and challenges as well. But from 10 people being interested in cryptos maybe 1 person really starts to buy and use it.

I am doing my best to spread the word in my circle of people. Some of them are already interested in Bitcoin and few already started to use Bitcoin. Those who heard from me surely will talk about others to in their circle to ask their opinion as usually happens about every new things which is unknown to people.Little by little we all are doing our work.

Well I'am just working on my home and some people are quite fascinated by it. So I'am using that opportunity to tell others about bitcoin. but I'am very careful with the word that i say because of the volatility. I don't want them to blame me for a sudden lost.

I do what i can to promote bitcoin and it all helps to bring us to another price bubble which seems to send everyone crazy to get into bitcoin.  Very good advice from OP.

Unfortunately some think that promoting Bitcoin is fraud. Perhaps if posts like this weren't getting green on fatwallet I would be more inclined to spread the word. I'm getting tired of explaining the difference between a Ponzi scheme and a high risk investment.

Things to do that will have a nice effect the more people who does it:

1. Link to bitcoin.org or other good bitcoin resource in your signature in other forums.
2. Link to bitcoin.org or other good bitcoin resource in your e-mail signature.
3. Send e-mails or call your local businesses and ask them when they're going to accept bitcoins.
4. Send coins to your friends using something like instawallet
5. Purchase services and goods from businesses that accept bitcoins.
6. Buy bitcoins
7. Write a short introduction about bitcoin for your local newspaper
8. Use it to send money to your friends and family abroad

+ many more. If you only do one of these once, then you're spreading the word about bitcoin.

We want individual freedom, we don't want governments and banks to decide when and who we want to send our money too.

We don't want to pay steep fees just to move numbers on the internet.

So step up today, and start promoting bitcoins!
