Fiat's only benefit right now is that the government is manipulating it to keep it steady in value. However that manipulation, whether to steady the value of a currency or to make the currency drop in value so that more exports can go abroad isn't going to last long.

Bitcoin's decentralisation is key to economic reform in future, in my opinion.

More people will definitely move to bitcoin in the future when they realise that they don't want to be in the grip of government manipulation.

People is not going to leave fiat anytime soon, western fiat that is... but if we look at China, Venezuela, Argentina, India, and all those countries... they are screwed up beyond belief, so they are going to look for ways to move their wealth out of those money eating hellholes. The hyperinflation will guarantee that those 4 countries alone push the price to 5 figures, and that isn't considering the future situation where western fiat currencies fail too, or as physical cash gets moved, bitcoin shines to never imagined highs.

yes that is right to say and the reason is that still not more than 2 percent people of the world are not ye using bitcoin therefore most of the people are still using fiat currency.

Fiat still consider as the safest currency so there is no point for my goverment to forbid fiat usage as it will impact negatively into my country's economic fundamental

As time goes on , bitcoin will make poeple interest more and more because it's value getting higher recently

Fiat will not be out of the picture because everyone in the world use. but bitcoin will still exist in the future.

To make the long story short, I think it all depends on mutual trusts. If a government believes fiat then we have to trust it and if the government says if a particular paper having $10 written on it has the value of $10 then we must trust it. Same with the bitcoin, if people around the world think that bitcoin is worth $1,000+, then we have to consider it a $1,000+ thing. It doesn’t matter if you think bitcoin is worth $1,00,000+ because everyone must believe it at the same time.

neither bitcoin or gold is profitable nor it is a safe haven, both will only be profitable if you use or invest it wisely.
saying that you're not believing in fiat anymore is just being a hypocrite. fiat can be profitable and can be a safe

Why wouldn't I believe in fiat? Afterall this is the currency I use for my day to day expense and also I receive my salary in fiat. So most definitely I believe in fiat and I will continue doing so. Nothing seriously happened for that I have to stop believing fiat.

It's just wasting money. Far as I'm concerned, fiat and bitcoin are both money. I use whichever is more convenient/economical depending on the situation. I'm not gonna strain myself or waste money just so I could say "I only use bitcoin".

I have pretty similar opinion as of you. Paypal and bitcoin are totally diffirent they can not be campared with each other. nor both of them can replace fiat. I believe in fiat and I think fiat will exist for ever.. it is possible that one day bitcoin may become a fiat.. but fiat will exist .

It is definitely that Bitcoin are different from Paypal but as you can see, Bitcoin is stronger and more effective than any other Fiat currencies on this planet. I do not agree to your opinion. their main reason is because their employees are not asking for it! I mean if you go ask your boss to pay you with bitcoin and then a couple of more of you colleagues do the same he is going to do it eventually and the only other issue is going to be taxes that I doubt it can be any trouble more than filling a new form!

I don't think that any employer would give a fuck about their employees opinion in this respect unless their business is half legal (or just illegal) and directly related to Bitcoin, say, they run an exchange, web wallet or mixer. Employers have to pay taxes in fiat, and they should pay wages and salaries (a part of which they pay as taxes) in fiat as well. In other words, most employers are legally bound to pay remuneration in a certain currency...

And no employee asking is ever going to change that
