It doesn't matter what network that being used by the campaign but the project itself will be determining on result of campaign and payment. The gas fees in ethereum blockchain is very expensive but it doesn't matter the developers will be only using it. The project that you have mentioned above was also using L2 ethereum called polygon as well. Just because it was running in ethereum blockchain doesn't mean this is increasing the popularity of the project. There are lots of projects that have become failed even that was using ethereum blockchain. The result of campaign will also depend on the development of project.
The project like vulcan has a very solid development and product. that's why it can be a successful project.

Actually I began to be unsure about the ethereum network bounty from my experience already many projects failed distribution on high gas grounds. I hope projects in other networks become a solution. Because very rarely there are projects such as vulcans that are qualified and willing to pay bounty hunters.

Of course, there are still normal ETH-based projects in the campaign that you can participate in. But this is more an exception to the rule than something real. Nobody wants to pay such a commission as we see now for the distribution of the remuneration. And often the cost of the reward received will not cover the transaction fee.

do you all still believe in the existence of a bounty project using an eth address even though now the cost of gas with eth is very expensive..?
and what examples of bounty projects have you been involved in on an eth basis and successful in the market?
I myself, with the presence of Vulcan Forged, can prove that there are still successful bounty projects after the distribution of prizes..

This is not the best period (even I think the entire year 2021 was very weak) for projects created on the Ethereum platform. As you wrote yourself, the gas fees were so large that many projects were not even able to pay the bounty rewards due to the huge costs they would have to pay for the distribution (many times the fee cost was higher than the reward of participant). I think things can change after upgrading to Ethereum 2.0 and the good times for the ETH bounty will be back.

Instead I thought this would be a quality bounty. I know for sure many projects that will not want to create a bounty campaign with a very expensive gas cost. However, vulcan proves if the project is really successful then high gas is not an obstacle bounty hunters are very happy because they get paid according to a high price. It's just that we're just sad about the high cost of gas. Sometimes we need 3x transactions from the ethereum network.

Right now many bounties project have moving using erc20 address to BSC network have lower fees and all project joining almost one year keep using BSC network address and payment using USDT or BSC coin. I am still believe with all bounty but depend with who manage the bounty campaign, many bounty still worth and have good price after distribution but have problem with bounty manager not distribution on time, last my problem with startfi bounty campaign until four months not distribution yet by bounty manager and always looking thousand reason with delay distribution.

We remain confident and believe in projects that still use Ethereum addresses because we think that bounty campaign projects that still use ETH are far more successful. Because Ethereum will continue to grow to be the best.

There are still lot of them but 99% if then fails so they never distributed the bounty rewards so never cared about the fee for sending the tokens to thousands of people participated in their bounty program but I remember even when the transaction fee were in cents projects asked the fee from the participants so I don't think any live project is successful now.

Well to me I still believe on eth projects, Landorc project was eth and the price was really something else, after the payment of the bounty reward, I paid and covered my eth fee and still was left with 800$ from what I earned from the bounty.
I still participate on eth projects, but it's base on the reward which is allocated for the Bounty, and when I get involve I make sure I gather enough of the token to make sure the value will cover the gas fee.

of course, it still makes sense to take part in such companies, if the profit is much more than the gas fee, then there will be no problems.Another thing is to wait for the payments themselves and sell them successfully, for such cases you always need to have a little ethereum on your wallet and wait for the gas price to fall.

Yes, of course, why not?
I know the ETH transactions cost a lot this time but as long as the project is legit and already back-up by an exchanger, we can certainly give trust to it and it was not a problem if the bounty amount is also high that was enough to cover fees when we would like to withdraw them. Like to receive $200 worth of tokens and just going to spend below $20, I wouldn't hesitate to join them either.

Yes few bounty projects that pays still exists but as a bounty hunter you need to limit your expectations because not all projects will pay you just find good ones and promote them if they pay it's all good if they don't it's still all good, this is the real bounty hunting spirit, high expectations
