While it is good news for Bitcoin users/hodlers that countries allow the use of Bitcoin as a means of transactions within their border, what will be your position if a country decides to take a step further by using Bitcoin as its national currency?

As much as i want bitcoin to be mainstream i do not like the idea as bitcoin for a national currency. Surely the government  will be very strict about bitcoin and will find ways to track your money and find.ways to tax your bitcoin. I am all for tax but just a minimal amount. Unlike what they are taxing  us now

No way, even bitcoin helps my life to get better but I love my National Currency. And government won't let it happen because they need the control of financial system in their country.

There is no possibility of using Bitcoin as a national currency in the country. Because Bitcoin is a variable currency This change will not allow people to accept it as a national currency. Because there is no guarantee of anything changing. And people are less worried about the things that are less sure. Moreover, Bitcoin has no own bank system. It is risky to humans. Bitcoin is also an online currency that we use to convert money into reality. What can be done by any virtual currency in the National currency? Although I want Bitcoin to go a long way and be recognized in the world society. But Bitcoin can not be a national currency.

It is indeed a good technological advancement, but we also have to see from the side of unstable bitcoin prices, bitcoin is also used by people in this world, there user will be a advantaged and disadvantaged in this case.

yes I would really support it if bitcoin becomes the national currency in my country. If all countries are also so automatic bitcoin also be the currency between countries or international currency. It will be very easy in transactions.

I don't think its a good idea to use bitcoin as a national currency. Because it would be unfair for other people. Especially those people wio don't know about bitcoin and people who don't know how to use the internet.

Well i guess its depends on the situation how the countries adopt the bitcoin as a national currency. It might be complicated i think, because not all people are using internet most specially the people around the provinces. How they could buy thier things if only bitcoin can accepted for payments.

Of course, I will support the use of bitcoin as a national currency if that would be happened. What matters most is the acceptability of bitcoin in our country, if it happens everyone can access bitcoin because our country will find ways for it.

It would have to stabilize first. There's never going to be that kind of adoption if the pice keeps jumping up and down all over the place because of speculators.

I think the use of Bitcoin as an official currency is not feasible because the current exchange rate of the BTC is too large, plus people always consider it an asset rather than a currency. They only sell BTC when the exchange rate increases and buy when the exchange rate is low. So if the future cryptocurrencies become official currency, then altcoins will probably be more suitable than Bitcoin.

Making bitcoin as a national currency is a great step for me. And i definitely support it.
As a one who involved in bitcoin industry there is a big impact to me that bitcoin will be national currency.
It will easy to expend it nationwide without any accusing of anyone.
That's sounding more like someone is day dreaming! At any rate, it's worth the note that the governments that dabbed Bitcoin and entire cryptocurrencies as criminals playground are unwilling to change their stance today or anytime in the future. The question begging for answer is, is it the same governments that would turn around to make Bitcoin their national currency or it's another?

I am the resident of country India where the BTC is not yet centralized and government declared that they are not responsible for any kind of losses regarding BTC ,so, I guess this would be biggest dream of every bitcoiner that BTC will become the national currency because there are millions of advantages with the bitcoins and the economic market of the future is very much depends on BTC and will definitely become the national currency.

I support the use of Bitcoin in my country, but it should not be the only currency. The traditional currency still has its existing value, because the degree of development of different regions of a country is different, and people's cultural level is also uneven. Not everyone can easily use new electronic payment methods. Bitcoin can better enrich payment methods, but it cannot be the only payment method.

of course all of the people will mostly support it because everyone loves bitcoin and how much more if bitcoin became popular all over the world not just on our own country. i will gladly support bitcoin thru it and i will do such campaigns or any means of advertising in order to spread the word bitcoin to the world. although there is still some haters to it because they dont believe on bitcoin or they never heard of it before but i guess they will just get used of it as soon as their government introduces it to them.

Bitcoin has a limited supply to use as a national currency in many countries price will increase exponentially if this adaptation will happen its very risky to every holders because of its volatility Im in favor of using a digital coin as a national coin but not bitcoin they have to create new coin for every government.

I think bitcoin as a national currency may not be a good idea for the economic market, and it may be better to exist as a second currency.

Let me ask you first? Will you be happy Then ? do you know what will happen ? Or what will be the consequences if btc being announenced to be the national currency or legalized??
Here that will happen. All the people who are dealing with unethical work or earned by doing ilegal works then his or her money will be turn into white monet from the black money.
Smuggling rate will go high. Mone will convert into btc for shure arms import or drugs import in exchange of btc will make your national money disaplear. The Highest inflation rate will make country to come down at her own feet.
Dont dream for unsusual things.
