yes, a bit true that we really need to spend a big amount of money in order to participate to such tournaments., but i dont think so that it is just a totally waste of time.. maybe you could probably say that because you are not really into this kind of thing. but to those who are fond to this, it is not a waste of time for them.

I have experience about poker tournaments
spreading more than 50 tables of action simultaneously in a Las Vegas-style room. Not all tournaments are wasting time, actually you can manage your own time in any kinds of tournament. But I have to agree that most tournaments requires us to spend big amount of btc in order to win on the tournaments. But there are some tournaments that does not require big balance, something like bounty rolls at bitsler, primedice, and the last one was tournament at Coinroyale where you can win with low balance because the winners are based on the win rate (not wagering amount).

Wagering tournaments are evil! There is no doubt about that. The wealthiest ones always wins them. But wagering isn't the only possibility for slots tournaments. For example we have just launched special win-ration based tournaments at Oshi.io . All points are given on how much you win relative to your bet size. I.e. : You Bet 1mBTC, win 1000mBTC, Player2: Bets 1000mBTC, wins 3000mBTC. You have a bigger win as compared to your bet, you're the winner!
Anyway, about wasting time. Now those tournaments last for a week. Would you like shorter tournaments? For example flash 2-4 hours lasting tournaments?

your right. there will always be much more likely to be a good player than us, that is why the probability of winning is minimal. they will only take advantage especially if they are already pros. so newbies will be taken advantage from.

i mostly take part in casino tournament but not online casino. i most take part in physical casino. where you have to play against different gambling physically. as i am not so much use to with online gambling therefore i am not going to take risk.

Never experience in live casino almost online casino that i experience in contest..
I experience physical gambling casino but not in contest and no bets because when i am gong to real casino it needs Identity and asking for high amounts of bet unlike here that online you can gamble with small amount.. was join also in the tournament in dice game in yolo but unlucky to get win..

I used to play in a free weekly sports betting contest (Tournament) at intertops.net. Everyone started with 1000 chips, top 10 spots payed out $10-$100. It's since closed down but I would love to play something similar.

You cannot use bots and software in all games, if you are not winning does not mean that the opponent is cheating. I have not participated in any BTC or altcoin based tournament but I have won significant amount via bet365's free lotto games.

Not all, only poker tournament which is a time eater. Other tournaments such as wagering tournament, slots tournament, or lucky roll on dice sites is not consuming to much time as you can manage your own time as you wish.

What you should expect? If theres a tournament then expect you will surely encounter those good players and if you saw yourself not skilled enough then dont bother to join because you will eventually lose up on the first try out for sure but if you do have trust on your skills then its not really bad to try it out. It does consumes time but nothing would be wasted since you can do other stuffs when its not your turn yet.

I took part in a few tournaments where the entry fees was either zero or just negligible because we are just testing our luck.

I remember playing in some poker tournaments at some dogecoin based site where I won a quite too. Then I never saw any such site and seriously guys don't just deny tournaments because there are a lot of participants, remember a winner is chosen among us all and we might be the lucky one today.
