We currently paying 50-60K sats in fees to make transaction happen. If sat reaches $1, then technically Bitcoin transactions will need $50-60K spend on every transfer. That would certainly be end of Bitcoin.
So technically it isn't possible. Everything has limit, Bitcoin can never reach $100M else it's survival will end.

Seeing the unpredictableness of Bitcoin, it seems possible, but seeing the likelihood of the statement, it doesn't seems to be possible at all. I mean, 1 satoshi will be equal to $1, who would think of something like that happening? And how would that happen? No matter how popular Bitcoin gets, and how demandable it becomes, it still doesn't seem possible for it to reach that high. There will always be a reason for it to stay below that grade, maybe not just below, but way below. I don't say it is not possible, but i don't think it will happen either.

Maybe never will this happen. To be realistic this is impossible in any way. Many thing must happen for this to be real, 1 dollar to be 1 satoshi then holder of 1 bitcoin would be millionaire. To many will become then, if someone from third country have 1 bitcoin with scenario he could buy whole country.

haha $100 million bitcoin. come on get real. $1 million bitcoin would be amazing, but it is possible. 100x that....I'm pretty sure there isn't even enough money in the entire world to make that happen.
Yes it is an interesting fact, there wont be a time when the price of satoshi will reach one dollar, that is a fantasy price and it wont reach those values, just imagine the amount of money you have to spent as transaction fees  Cheesy even now we are shelling out four dollars on an average as transaction fees which i think is too much,so there are some things we have to be practical.

But governments could make that happen by printing money, however if you calculate the electricity consumption for a Bitcoin mining @$1,000,000

Per Btc then it will be impossible to generate enough power to mine Bitcoin, that'll certainly centralizes the mining process, everyone will join one pool

To stop competing. if the whole network uses electricity equal to a country then imagine if price rises 16000X difficulty must increase at least 2000X.

Could we generate that much electricity?

I don't think that it is ever going to happen just for the simple reason that then it will make the bitcoin price to be about 100M$ each, which makes it worth much more then all the funds that are available at the whole world.

If it is ever going to be, it will make the fiat worthless, and bitcoin will be the only currency that will be used worldwide.

Anyway, it is always possible to change the bitcoin protocol and to cut it for more pieces then 100M pieces( 1 bitcoin is 100M satoshis).

It will reach a cent before you know it,  currently $1 is around 16-19k sats, so i dont really think it will be long now,  as in a year maybe couple (or,  you know,  maybe never... )

So in this case,  what will happen to the altcoins that are being traded with satoshis in exchanges? Will their price in satoshis decrease gradually or will they just keep growing with bitcoin?

Obviously,  many coins and tokens shall grow as they deserve a healthy market cap worth hundreds of millions billions in the future,  but what about the shitcoins that are bound to satoshi? If a coin stays at 1sat now,  20 years later they are still 1 sat and potentially worth $1 (if a sat ever is $1)?
I think it is possible for a satoshi to ever reach 1$ but the chance of it happening is low. In order to achieve this, the supply of bitcoin must all be mined first so it will take at least a decade for it to happen, maybe more. There is also a chance that satoshi being 1$ might not come to pass after all bitcoin must be mainstream and used as a main currency of the whole world in order to achieve it which I think is nearly impossible to happen. There are also other prerequisites in order for a satoshi to be at 1$ each. Fees must be lowered to 1 satoshi each for it to be achieveable.

I thinks is impossible to happen in bitcoin that the price will of 1 sat will be $1 since we are only few bitcoin users who use bitcoin there are some country that bitcoin is ban and there are lots of altcoin competitors out there to taking down bitcoin or replace it..
This is the reason why the growth  of bitcoin was slowly increase or drop. because of competitors .
I believe that bitcoin can be more expensive in the future but 1 satoshi is impossible..

Well, it take a longethereum time for one shatoshi to be equal to one dollar If such a thing will even happen before end of the world or Bitcoin itself.

It is inevitable, we will see that day in the next few years tho

Shitcoins that cost $1 should be delisted from the exchanges and for the other altcoins, some of it tend to follow the Bitcoin price so yes, we may see a potential growth

Bitcoin reaching 100 million per coin is way too far off. At that point it's pretty much not comprehensible. I understand that people didn't believe bitcoin would ever reach 6000 and it did, but reaching something like 100 million is very out of reach. There is a limit to how far we can go, and I think the furthest we can reach up into the near future is around 10-25 k.

It will not happen that the pirce of bitcoin will reach 1 dollars per satoshi because if that happen the proce of each bitcoin is 100 million of dollar and thats very impossible to happen in real life. For example you have 1p bitcoin wow you are billionaire what if those people have thousands of bitcoin. Your prediction is very impossible to haooen or unrealistic . I respect that because we have different opinions.

No mate, there is no way that it can happen. This is the same as saying that every onze of gold will be worth $2000 thousand dollars in a few years, it is impossible because there is no way to say that it is going to happen.
But we all would love to see bitcoin at a higher price than now, but  16000 times more expensive than atm's price is not possible..
You are not talking about seeing bitcoin at $10k, or maybe $15, you are talking about 100 million dollars per every bitcoin, it is not possible.

This is not impossible because the growth of Bitcoin is inevitable for me, if the price of it still goes up continuously just like what it has been in the past year, imagine the price of Bitcoin almost multiplied by 10 in October of 2016 to October of this year. It is just a matter of time until the price of a single satoshis will be equivalent to $1.

The value of a 1 satoshi right now is $0.00005759 and the market capitalization of Bitcoin is $96+ billion so if a single satoshi will be equal to a $1 then Bitcoin needs a $1,668+ quadrillion market capitalization in able to achieve that goal. I really think and so positive that one day Bitcoin will reach that point if there is no major issues that will result to its downfall.

Could be possible since bitcoin is unpredictable it could be possible since bitcoin is growing day by day but it takes a long time before we can see the price of 1 satoshi is $1 maybe in the future or  if i'm too old.
For now we are seeing the price movement is slow now a days because of fork and another fork will happen this coming november,

i can not see that thing will happen,
because if we really see that in the future how much fees that we need to spend just to get 1 transaction ?
at least for now i can not see that, until they find something to replace it or increase the transaction system.
for now i think at best we will value it using mBTC no less than that,
but who know ? everything can be happen in cryptocurrency.

Nope, it is a lot of money and it can not touch 100 million dollars, no matter what, there are too many bitcoins in circulation right now, and thinking about seeing each one 100 million is impossible, just do the maths, there are no numbers to explain that situation (21m x 100m) it is insane.
Anyway, you will always find some people who think that it is possible, but in fact, it is not going to happen because we dont even know if bitcoin will still be alive in some years from now.

that would make one single bitcoin worth 100 million dollars. do you really think that's a likely possibility in the next few centuries? that would make one bitcoin more than the gdp of certain countries.

$100,000,000 is a 16,000x rise from here. where i come from that's alot.
