Well, I think not all billionaires invest in bitcoin. There is a high possibility that they know the existence of bitcoin because there are so many companies or businesses accepting bitcoins now. Billionaires became billionaires because of their successful businesses and great strategies. Along their way of becoming rich, I think they had known bitcoin. But that doesn't mean they invest in bitcoin. If they know they are gonna be rich because of what they are doing, they will just ignore bitcoin. But still some will invest in bitcoin because some investors grab the opportunity that will make them rich.

That is for sure! Since in todays, bitcoin is powerful enough to spread the word and it is broad. Their investments will probably have easily that return of investments and profit more.

I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?

the are definitely are are investing into it,  iread some news that one of the renowed billionares just invest a good amount in bitcoin, well they can invest whenever they want because they have money, and if they get a profit then its will add up on their wealth and if they lose they can just invest on others to get those loses. just sayin.
Billionaires do invest into bitcoins in much big amounts than common people and I consider them the big whales of the crypto market. Billionaires are also humans and they are always in search of methods through which they can increase their capital and bitcoins are best option for them in this regard.

I think they are investing to bitcoin. The mindset of some billionare is as long as they get profit they will investment more money. But not all i think because they want sure profit and legit sites.
As stated there's nothing specific with the billionaires. Even they're similar to common people who has the thinking to multiply their holdings. So, surely they'll be investing into bitcoin and importantly millionaires to become billionaires use bitcoin as an tool.

"They are willing to invest all their earnings."

This is a part I can't agree with. It's always safer to be well diversified, something billionaires can easily afford to do.

If everything is in the money game, then who's making the stuff you want to buy with it? Tongue

I think billionaires definitely invest on Bit coin as it is a new market for a lot of people and most of the people even don’t know about the crypto currencies i.e. what are these currencies? How they are produced? Security issues and all other concerns they are not aware. It is best for billionaires to invest maximum in BTC to have larger profit when people doesn’t know about them.
You are very much right. All the billionaires they know the worth of Bitcoin far better than a normal man. They had and will make the best possible use of this golden opportunity which they have got in order to earn more and more money as compared to what they already own. They are willing to invest all their earnings.

Yes i think billionaires invest in BTC.  People earned lot of money from bitcoins and also invested in it.  Purchasing bitcoins when its cost is less and selling it after rising of its price can be more beneficial.  People practice this and get extra profit.  They may get profit in triplicate. Such ammount not even banks afford to give us.

It's standard for financial advisers to recommend a diverse portfolio; with over 5 million dollars in a portfolio, financial advisers will start recommending alternative investments as well as the normal diversification methods of splitting money between equity, fixed income, bonds and cash/gold with varying ratios based on the client's age and risk tolerance. I'm not sure whether financial advisers with a large investment bank are actually allowed to pitch bitcoin as even an alternative investment yet, in the US - my portfolio doesn't qualify for my advisers to make official recommendations about alternative investments, but I've unofficially discussed them. Bitcoin was one of the investments my advisers were quite excited to find I was investing in, and one actually has called me several times to chat about it after finding out that I was investing. Based on this, I'd say it's very likely that people who are being advised on alternative investments have put some money into bitcoin, although it's more properly called speculation rather than investment imo.

Either way, semantics aside, I think most ultra-high net worth portfolios would include 1-2% in bitcoin or other risky, but possibly very rewarding speculative bets. That's generally the level of exposure that's considered wise; some might be extra cautious and stay away from it entirely, like Howard Marks, some might put more in like John McAfee reportedly has. The most recent I've heard was that Mark Cuban has $20m invested into 1confirmation, a new cryptocurrency-focused hedge fund; he's dismissed the whole thing as a bubble before just like Marks, but he's gradually coming around and at the least is willing to put .6% of his net worth into it. That would be the equivalent of someone with a net worth of $70k, which is the average American's net worth as of the last census in 2011, investing $500. For someone who's living paycheck to paycheck with a rented apartment and leased car, and a total net worth of around $15-20k, that's equivalent to more like $100. Not much, when you look at it in scale, but it's something.

Of course, if you see what Bill Gates, Richard Branson and others have said (there are interviews in Youtube), it's sure they have a part of their wealth invested in BTC.
Ofcourse they have invested in bitcoin but they have so much money if even bitcoin would fail they will still be as rich as they were before.

Not as us we invest and if we lose we lose everything.

If any billionaire will invest in Bitcoin, price can go up much more than 4000 USD, but billionaire can also invest in Bitcoin mining, then Bitcoin price can go down. But I think most possible way for investing from billionaires, can come from their investment companies, so impact to Bitcoin market can be not so strong.  Grin

Billionaires commit into bitcoin, no question in it. I imagine in it due to the fact there have been lot of good statements from several billionaires who have been termed as billionaire just primarily based on the innovation produced by them in the technology. This can make them think in the technologies driving bitcoin and make investments to multiply their investment as development is promised.
Not as investment i think ,
Because a billionaire could mining bitcoin a lot or even by simply buy the rest bitcoin available now at once ,
They don't want to risk that much and destroy cryptocurrency ecosystem ,
They prefer looking for the breakthough technology that bitcoin had like the blockchain and develop it even better.

I don't see why billionnaires wouldn't invest in Bitcoin. Healthy scepticism is always important but sooner or later they'll all join the crypto-train. e.g: Tim Draper is backing Tezos

I believe they know bitcoin exist, well maybe some of them though, especially the young generation billionaires. Their is a possibility they also invest in bitcoin especially when they see its potential. More over, they have the capability to do so and gain knowledge about it.

Maybe? Bitcoin is still a good investment so there's a possibility that there are some that invests in Bitcoin. Or maybe in ICO projects. But they will probably invest their money in offline business because it is less risky and regular currency is being used and are dependent to them. But it also makes sense to think if billionaires are into investing in Bitcoin, because if that's true, it will benefit Bitcoin itself and also Bitcoin community.
