Currently, Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency and will probably stay that because of its good network of people who support it. This network is good because Bitcoin was first cryptocurrency in the world. Idea of digital currency is legitimate, and many experts would agree that digital currency will definitely come in the future instead of traditional currencies. But for now, it is hard to say when that time will come, maybe in 10 years, maybe in 50 years. Again, looking from current situation, Bitcoin would probably be that mainstream currency, but it’s still too early to predict.

I think Bitcoin has its own potential to become the first currency for buy and sell, because for me Bitcoin is always number one and the world’s most valuable currency of all. Actually gold was the first coin. then silver,British Pound.,US Dollar,bitcoin. the worldwide adoption of bitcoin as a single currency will not happen soon. So it will be better to tagged bitcoin as the revolutionary currency in the world at large because bitcoin is the back bone to all other crypto currency coins. thanks

Despite the fact that bitcoin brings popularity to crypto currency, yet it is impossible to classify bitcoin as the first world currency. To my understanding, world currency is a currency that can be used across the globe for buying, selling or investing. Something that is still universally accepted and the USD still retain that position globally. So it will be better to tagged bitcoin as the revolutionary currency in the world at large because bitcoin is the back bone to all other crypto currency coins.

Yes but only for online transaction, government will not let their citizens to use bitcoin as the main currency for international transactions, government will always force their people to fiat as the main currency.
