I believe it will not far from happening. But possible it only be an alternative currency, as USD is the main currency used in buy and sell transactions. At least if that time comes we have an options which one is most preferable to us. Knowing that bitcoin could never replace USD as global currency used just because of bitcoin price stability in the market.

yes, it can happen, but right now we can not predict exactly when bitcoin becomes a currency to buy and sell, maybe 10 years into the future. but definitely now bitcoin is getting known by the world so that bitcoin could be the currency to buy and sell in the near future.

You mean to say that BTC can become Global currency...RIGHT!!!
I think BTC is on the way to be Global currency. Growing popularity of BTC on world level proves that it is PEOPLE's currency. Unlike FIAT, it is free from exchange hassles for international transactions and can easily be transfered to anyone, at any time, in any part of the world.

Bitcoin will never be a first currency because banks are never going to allow it to happen.. and the governments, impossible.

well i think only god knows on this things it is not really impossible because we all have seen that the buying and selling bitcoin is verry profitable these is a good way to invedt money and to gain more profit in he near future.i belived that someday it will become a first currency for buy and sell.we"ve seen already that the bitcoin is amazing specially its price so then no doubt about it someday bitcoin will do.

I don't think that Bitcoin was designed to be world currency. It needs a lot of upgrades before we will be able to use it in our daily lives. Bitcoin indeed has a great potential and it is quite interesting. It's a matter of time before most countries will switch to cryptocurrencies as their national currencies. Sending transactions will be even easier than it is today!

Yes it could be easily adopted as a world currency but the negative threat is always there that the country is preventing as of now because the bitcoin can be used as a money to buy and sell some products that cannot be detect and can be lead to illegal activities sometimes that's why they make some regulations in order to limit the use of bitcoin and help the users of it.

I'm thinking about this or we are just reading too much conspiracy about the world government, one world currency, one world religion. But I think this is a very possible thing, what if bitcoin is backed up by the Rockefellers and the Rothschild? And they are just seeing people to love bitcoin because of it's high price. Everything is at possibility, we didn't even know that bitcoin can go far this way but it's applicable now that bitcoin has been used for buying and selling.

Not anytime soon. It's hardly getting use as a currency today, and while that may change in the future, it's not going to be an easy path. There are several problems, currently, including the slow confirmation times and high fees. That makes it unsuitable for frequent trading.

Bitcoin is often called digital gold, though, and I believe it has already cemented its position as just that. It's a storage of value and an investment. That is what people primarily use it for, seeing how strongly everyone advocates HODLing. Bitcoin fulfills this role much better in my opinion, because then fees and confirmation times would not matter as much.

I believe that this will happen, we are already seeing these prospects. But I do not think that this will happen soon. Years 5-7 minimum is necessary for humanity to completely change its perception of the financial system to switch to the crypto currency. This is very difficult.

No. The first was Gold coins. The second was sliver coins. The third is probably the British Pound. Then the US Dollar. Now, people talk about the Chinese Yuan, but I doubt that will happen. Bitcoin is probably the fifth world currency for buy and sell.
