Bitcoin does have a team to develop further bitcoin to hanlde any issue it may have, besides that, itsnt controlled by them at all, dollars does have banks and a country that uses and does support dollar, besides the others countries use dollar for their saving purposes.

Those devs doesn't have the control anymore with what his happening with bitcoin. Their duty now is to maintain the system of bitcoin with the blockchain technology.

To secure its daily transactions and if possible some upgrades. And it is hard to think if dollar will be replaced by bitcoin soon.

If does so, then that's a good thing since we are one of early adopters already.

Dollar currency is knowned by all countries and it has been the standard and most popular currency among other currencies where as bitcoins is not fully introduced worldwide and it doesn't have a chance to replace the dollar.. and also bitcoin doesn't have any physical form (paper money or coins) / digital currency.

of course, i can say yess. if the digital era come, and all people use digital system , and all infrastructur support it, bitcoin have great chance to replace dollar.

Yes but that is not soon at all. At this moment bitcoin couldn't even handle that amount of people I'd say so they would have to work on that.
Other problem is bitcoin will never kick usd off it's throne without MAJOR events happening which can support this cause.
I do believe that dollar will be replaced but I don't know if that is going to be with bitcoin or any other digital currency. Depending on how the US government is going to implement that.

And maybe possible to happen that they are going to develop their own digital currency and that is going to be a digital dollar, I guess.

Because the US government is now implementing cashless society.

Dollar and so exist in a digital form. But it does not change its characteristics. It is still subject to inflation. Bitcoin currency is completely different and it has its advantages. But despite this, I believe that Bitcoin does not replace the dollar

I believe that Bitcoin has taken its place and displace the dollar it will not. There are people who will always be only a dollar, but there are people who have all their savings transferred to Bitcoin. These two systems will operate in parallel

I use both of them and I am satisfied with both of them becauee i cant go 100% fiat or 100% bitcoin because it is not secure enough, I like the word you mentioned in parallel this also applies to other coins and bitcoin.

Dollar won't be replaced by some sort of crypto currency that has been yet accepted by most of the people. And I am sure that the people will still rely to use dollar, because they are going to think that bitcoin is still a very young type of currency and besides there only limited people who are using it, so as of now this is impossible.

Bitcoin is a good alternative to dollar but not completely because bitcoin is being managed by a group which we don't know, the price is manipulated by people who we don't know and these anytime can crash or increase the price, government can't adapt bitcoin as their national currency because it is risky.

Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years.

Read the following news:
http://cointelegraph.com/news/114983/coinbase-ceo-bitcoin-will-replace-dollar-within-15-years

Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?
Nope maybe coinbase is thinking myth ideas and this is gonna be hoax if ever and bitcoin will never be replace dollar soon ever in the future yes let's say that bitcoin has very very big feature but there are no assurance that bitcoin will be in the top list of payment method or currencies. Dollar is the no. money in the whole world that we are using in every country we going too.

The thought of that is so true. Indeed bitcoin is a currency that's far better than the Dollar, because of the bitcoin has the features and potential market as well and will always give you an advantage because the market demand is very remarkable. All of this will not be a barrier to keep struggling and evolving bitcoin, fear not against real or yet News News opinion

The dollar network effect is the strongest of all currencies ever, it will be very difficult for bitcoin to replace it. Bitcoin cannot do anything about it, the dollar has to fail by itself, and im sure the anti cash politics of governments will try to kill the dollar while taking btc to the moon.
You are right, even if the dollars will fail bitcoin still cannot replace it, I guess what will happen with bitcoin if dollars will fail the price of bitcoin will also be affected and might fail. I will look unto that as the time it will happen I will buy bitcoins as for sure dollars will be back up again.

For me its not this two was in a different category of currency that is why this two can not compete its other bitcoin is decentralized currency and dollar is centralized currency, more people look this with the same currency which is not.
Bitcoin certainly cannot compete with dollar since dollar are more established than bitcoin and under the current situation we are solely relying in fiat and since dollar is the most powerful currency in the world IMO, it will represent fiat I believe.

As of the current time, bitcoin is very progressive as we can see  the recent price increase and actually still rising now but to think it will replace dollar soon is just something I did not think of.

Sure they have created a ground to where people will trust their currency but it doesnt say it is the strongest. They are the most used and it was passed on in many generations. A strength of one currency doesnt really rely on just its popularity.

Yeah i think most of us would agree to that dude. Although i think in the future, bitcoin has a chance to at least be an alternative, like how we use credit cards now. But to entirely replace it, i think not, well not in the next couple of decades that is

i think its hard for bitcoin to replace dollar and maybe not this year and until 5 years later, because bitcoin itself need to be maintain and to be growth first so many people will have know bitcoin, and then government will make agreement about bitcoin. after that, maybe bitcoin can replace dollar.

Dollars will not be replaced by bitcoin soon in my opinion. I think that way since it is the currency which all currency based into even some of fiat money base on it. It would be possible for bitcoin to replace dollar in 20 years though the possibility of it happening is very low since government and bank would not like bitcoin to replace dollars since bitcoin is decentralized.

I think bitcoin will replace dollar but it will not be "soon".

Bitcoin will NEVER replace the dollar. It won't even replace the fiat currency in a weak problematic country somewhere in the world.

The population of bitcoin users isn't enough to make the others migrate from using dollars into using bitcoins. I think it's just a matter of time when people start having an open mind about the digital currency. Bitcoin will be very much popular if people would start having online transactions from another country.

Bitcoin will remain an alternative currency option for people that are open for such a thing, and understand that it can give them the so much loved bit of financial freedom that they have been waiting for. We must be happy with how Bitcoin is right now, because when Bitcoin grows too large, the government will not sit back and watch a potential threat to their economy get bigger and bigger. In that regard, be careful with what you wish for.

The use of bitcoin would become a necessity to the majority of people once they start having transactions globally and not just in their area. But let's face it, not everyone is global minded. Some would just stay as they are for years and won't even bother researching about bitcoins.

If we at some point manage to have 1% of the world population to use Bitcoin in one way or another, then that will be something very special. I don't think we'll ever get to a point where 10% of the world population is using Bitcoin. Especially when you consider that the fiat based payment infrastructure gets better throughout the years, transaction fees of Bitcoin going higher and higher, etc. All things that we have to keep in mind.

I think tidak.Bitcoin will not replace the dollar because
The dollar is a global currency and the reliable and they use it as a method of payment for many years. Bitcoin new and most countries are not familiar with Bitcoins, many countries have refused to regulate Bitcoins, I hope the next few years will Bitcoint parallel with fiat and will be accepted in many countries.

Global in using its currency. It is most preferred because it became traditional. Actually it is not that strong now, we just got used to it. Converting every currency into USD is the easiest way to understand how much a value of a thing is.

That is why bitcoin won't replace dollar or any fiat money at all. Because of its popularity, bitcoin is still not yet popular and people will ever love to choose their very own currency and for sure dollar. If people are always preferring into bitcoin then for sure it will still not going to make the replacement of bitcoin, unless their president will say.
