I don't think so, dollar is very popular than bitcoin and i think bitcoin can't replace dollar. Because many people still don't know about bitcoin and bitcoin is not popular like dollar.
yeah i think bitcoin will not be able to replace the dollar as the currency of the United States, but I think that bitcoin will be pouler and used worldwide than dollars?
Not even happening in my dreams, that is too ambitious saying bitcoin will replace dollar. Maybe we should think it twice before making such statement as bitcoin cannot be compared to dollar based on its power as bitcoin is just dependent on the value of dollars.

I do not think that the Bitcoin is ever going to replace the Dollar, Bitcoin does not even have enough physical money in order to do so, it would be a whole process.
Many people do not like to go to big changes so it would not really work.

Bitcoin doesn't have any physical money, it's all digital. But not having enough is hardly an excuse for it not replacing the dollar. Bitcoin is divided into 8 decimal places, and at a cap of 21 million coins and 100,000,000 sats per coin, there are plenty of units of bitcoin available. The reason it won't replace the dollar is because it's inferior to the dollar in too many aspects to become a threat to the dollar.
Besides all those you said, bitcoin isnt well see for several people, and bitcoin its just a great currencie, but dollar is main currency of the world, atleast as i know to import and export all the bills goes with dollar value, soo bitcoin isnt a threat to any currencie, and isnt those the purpose of bitcoin at all.

Of course I do not think that the Bitcoin is going to take over the Dollar soon because that is just ridiculous. Bitcoin is not able to provide so much people with money and if they did the value would go down.
So maybe so where far in the future it will be possible but not now.

It will take several decades for the bitcoin to be the major currency in the world. But it might not take over dollar.

I agree with you, even there is a chance that fiat will be replaced by bitcoins but we don't know of when it is going to happen or else that is going to happen 20 years from now. But if there is going to be a good coordination with the government and bitcoin users for sure that is going to as soon as possible to that country.

No, this will never happen the bitcoin is even depending on the dollar when the dollar falls the bitcoin will also fall without any doubts.
I think the bitcoin has a good future a head but is still not secure to say it can replace currency's.
Simply because bitcoin is fiat dependent, we are nothing without dollar as it is the standard basis of the value of bitcoin. That will not even happen 100 years from now as the government will never allow for their fiat to be replace by unregulated anonymous currency.

Not anytime sooner or later. Bitcoin simply doesn't have the power to replace an old established currency like dollar. The main reason is that bitcoin doesn't have a physical presence and dollar is a globally accepted currency.

On the other hand bitcoin doesn't have a physical presence and you need to be a tech savy person to use bitcoin in your daily life. So bitcoin can't even become a threat to the dollar or any other fiat currency. It can add value to people's life only and nothing else.

Claims like this are fun to talk about but little more than good marketing for Coinbase. (Don't get me wrong, I like Coinbase). But no one can say for sure whether bitcoin will have staying power and significance to be considered the world's reserve currency ever let alone 15 years.

What I think is a better discussion to have about this is why would we want Bitcoin to be the world's reserve currency. Existing fiat currencies are controlled and manipulated by Governments and Banks. Do you think these people are going to just let Bitcoin exist without their involvement or blessing? Do you think these people aren't going to want to have control and option to manipulate Bitcoin as they have fiat?

I think the answer is No!

If Bitcoin becomes the world's reserve currency, Bitcoin will be destroyed as we know it. I can't see a way that it wouldn't, but if you all think differently I'd love to hear it!
Bitcoins cant replace the dollar because the dollar is something other than the bitcoin and the bitcoin has no stable value and the dollar is always stable so better fgor people to carry on.

what this mean? bitcoin can be stable as the dollar if the market will grow, so it can eventually replace the dollar if this will ever happen, bitcoin is very small now remember this, so it need adoption first to take on major currency like usd and euro

I don’t think bitcoin will ever replace dollar or any other fiat currency at least in next few decades. Yes but I believe that bitcoin will have measurable impact on the global economy in next few years and it will become one of the mainstream transaction alternative but I don’t think it will change the things by 100%. There is large number of people who are far away from technology but yet they transact with fiat and they will keep doing it until end.

Yeah, i agree with you. Replacing dollar is not easy, especially for bitcoin, an digital currency. It will be more harder for bitcoin to replace dollar, it might be happen though.

I think it's impossible in this century. Also think, bitcoin can't replace any fiat currently. though bitcoin is  the most popular crypto currency. But, people who isn't patched up with technology, they didn't hear about it.And, they only depends on fiat.

Do you think it will be true?

even I fully realize, that 15 years is a lot of time in this world, it sounds like bullish madness. We had working mail for 2 decades now and people still sending letters and postcards, even they can sent mails and whatsapp messages with own photos.

I will consider, that bitcoin suceed, once we reach 2-3% of world population actively using it. no, is more or less completely unknown (and those, which knew anything only reminds silkroad and mt.gox, nothing else, at least here..)
How can you replace the dollar and the bitcoin exist out of the dollar how can he replace something where he exist about i dont understand why peopel thinks like this.

I also do not think this will happen very soon because its simply just not possible due to the fact that the bitcoin is a bit controlled by the dollar.
Its just so depending on the dollar, if the dollar collapse the bitcoin will also.

The bitcoin is not controlled by the dollar. It is just priced in the US dollar also many other currencies. But it will be more popular.

So now use credit cards and can not carry money and buy for cashless payments. Or to transfer money through the Internet. Of course bitcoin is still very young, but look at how much it will be enough.
not everyone uses a credit card, at least for people who have lots of money, because the interest bill is so high I think. but it will be different with bitcoin, has a low cost, and is also easy to use anytime and anywhere.

There are credit cards, and there are debit cards. Just clarifying for those who are not familiar with the latter. And unlike the former, banks often pay interest on the money held on such cards. Needless to say that you cannot go over the balance of such a card (unless you specifically allow overdraft, which is rare since debit cards usually don't permit this)...

And they are perfect for cashless payments
Debit and credit cards have revolutionized the way we pay for goods and services. In fact, since the advent of eCommerce and Internet shopping, cashless payment systems have become more important than ever. Put simply, debit and credit cards provide a quick and secure way to pay for things without the need for cash.
and i think in the same way bitcoins will make a revolution too, i hope that it is going to be even bigger than credit cards
