think this is a hard thing happened, many countries banned bitcoin whereas all countries make the dollar as the foreign exchange size and wealth. of course it took a longer time for at least 50 years to be able to replace the dollar.
I think for the time being it is not possible but in the future may bitcoin take the place of dollar. Dollar in this day holds the whole market all over the world and all the people who need to travel or buy something even bitcoin he will change his local money in dollar and then he can use it throughout the world. So we can see the hold of dollar in the markets even in the local markets.
Dollar can make Bitcoin disappear in someday, but I do not think Bitcoin has power to against the most popular currency on worldwide as Dollar. Bitcoin is just a new asset, there are have many people still do not know it today. So, at least 10 years Bitcoin still can not against Dollar.

Not before long... Simply because the technological innovation is even now fairly younger and we want much more adopters.
Absolutely! It is not possible in the near future, but I think there is nothing in this world which cannot happen. Anything is possible and we cannot predict the future. There are chances that a day will come when we see Bitcoin replacing dollar. I think if this thing happens, then we may be able to see a completely different world.
It may not seem possible for  lot of people that bitcoin can replace the dollar because the dollar has been the most used currency worldwide for our entire lives, but that happens all the time, before the dollar the British pound was king among currencies until the day it was not and it was replaced by the dollar, so this is a process that has happened before and if the US keeps printing dollar then we are going to see bitcoin or other crypto replacing the dollar in the future.
I defer from your comments because I think bitcoin will overcome dollar but it will take a long time, because dollar has already captured the world market. For bitcoin to replace dollar is very difficult but not impossible and one day we will see that bitcoin will be used by everyone in the world because it is not only currency but also a digital coin business, which also give people extra earnings.

No i dont think that Bitcoin will replace dollar soon .They both will rather be in action at same time.Dollar is a form of fiat money which means that it has a physical form.So it is more easy to use it in any shop.It is decentralized in nature that means government has no control over it so government will not allow any such currency to replace a traditional and a trustworthy currency like dollar. So according to me it is not possible.
Bitcoin is already a universal currency due to its decentralized nature. I strongly believe that by 2025, bitcoin will be legalized around the globe and will be the sole international currency of the world. Bitcoin has all those quality that the today’s world full of technology demands from an international currency. Dollar or any other paper money is nothing in front of bitcoin in any matter.

Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years.

Read the following news:

Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?
I do not think so . Bitcoin is now very hot. But the dollar is the common currency all over the world. And nothing can beat it
Bitcoin can not beat USD for sure. But I do not think that nothing can beat the USD. There are many things can replace USD such as XRP or XLM. Everything in this world can not last forever, and USD is not an exception. Therefore, in the future, USD will be replaced by something new, something which is stronger and better than itself.

I think the bitcoin showed really significant developments towards becoming a valid currency, and as a result, it managed to be a real and widespread currency. But I don't think that bitcoin will replace dollar. I think in the future, the traditional currencies and the cryptocurrencies will always be used together.
I also believe that it is impossible that bitcoin will replace dollar because as we can see both has different world. Dollar is the fiat money we convert our bitcoin to be able to use it in the outside world because it is what we are used to using when it comes to our everyday lives. While bitcoin still exist as a digital currency without the sufficient technology we can't use it.

I agree with you. When I say that the bitcoin is a currency which can be used just by digital systems, some people are getting anger and I don't understand that. Of course I have a big respect the bitcoin's technology, but on the other hand, there are many other realities.

I think if everyone in the world uses bitcoin, it is very likely that bitcoin will sink the history of the dollar as it has so far become a universal currency worldwide.
The presence of bitcoin can be a universal and acceptable alternative currency anywhere in the world.
I think the potential strength of this currency is really capable of making the government has no authority over the currency, it shows a lot of demand for electronic money, which is equivalent to cash.
Indeed bitcoin has the potential to be the sole currency of the world. Bitcoin is already used as an international currency by many countries and I see bitcoin as the future currency of the world. Bitcoin is not only a currency but also an investment.

Dollar does not have market stronger than that of bitcoin. With the passage of time, bitcoin is going to rule the world market kicking off all the currencies.

well, I don't think so maybe it has a short possibility in this time to occur in the world maybe we will see in the next 15 years. because for now Us dollar is an international and very established money in the world that every country was accepting for transactions, although bitcoin can use into some part of the world it will never replaced  dollar soon maybe someday after 15 to 20 years because as of now bitcoin is slowly spreading in the world.

As long as Donald Trums is the president of United States of America, you never know what can happen. As a manager and politician he is a very strange men, you don't know what to aspect from him and, if he will be president for the next 8-10 years (i hope not) then something will happen with the american dollar, but other ways no, in wont be replaced.
If you want to become rich, then investing in bitcoin is no doubt a wonderful thing to do. As far as replacing of dollar is concerned, I don’t think so that it is possible for bitcoin at present to replace dollar. It is very much possible that bitcoin will replace dollar if bitcoin is declared as legal across the globe. Dollar is an internationally recognized currency and it is not an easy task for bitcoin to replace dollar.

This is not possible since everyone in the country is using bitcoins. Bitcoins is not forever and it wil vanish soon but not very soon, If they are going to change the USD to bitcoins the currency will be unstable and it might be a huge disaster to everyone in the near future.

Bitcoin- in bullish time
Why does he even think like that in first place. It is the price difference and exchange capability of bitcoin and fiat currency which us making is rich. If that gets replaced with one currency then how we can get the profits or how we can differentiate ourselves with that price tag. I think it's not possible because it's just not well possible! There can not be two sun in the single solar system, it will burn the life. So there can not be two currency otherwise it will just break down the economy of country. The dollar bill is something related to traditions, old ways of trading and it will never get replaced in any time soon. Bitcoin is perfect fit in the internet world and might not just fit in the real world. So may be not this time.

While I do agree that two currencies cannot be the main currency of a country, I don't really agree that the world is all about tradition. The traditional way might be sending money with dollars. The traditional way might even be physical fiat but that's clearly not the case anymore. In this modern age, people don't really embrace traditions that much anymore. People seek something new everyday and bitcoin is something new. It's only a matter of time before bitcoin gets considered as a "cool" thing and people will follow the trend. These days, people are into bitcoin because of the ridiculous gains it had given us in the past couple of months.

Another thing, I do agree that bitcoin cannot be the main currency of a country together with their local currency because bitcoin is not taxable. The country will have no funds and so they will be forced to ban bitcoins (which is quite hard to do, impossible even) or put a huge percentage of tax for fiat currency users, which will then of course force them to use bitcoins instead.
I think yes because of the decreasing value of dollar and increasing value of bitcoin. All over the world many people use bitcoin instead of dollars any especially those people who works online even with the US Company from their homes.

The companies often pay their remote employees in bitcoins and not in dollars. The reason is easy transactions and worldwide use. All these things will remove dollar from the market.
It is not a big deal for bitcoin to replace not only dollar but so many other currencies as well. But the thing is, it will not be possible till the time the governments of different countries declare bitcoin as legal currency. This is the only hurdle in the way of bitcoin which is keeping it little less popular than that of dollar. I am very much sure that in the future, things will be in very much favor of bitcoin.
Even though the government will declare bitcoin as a legalized currency then it will not be enough for bitcoin to replace the fiat like us dollar and other currencies because just imagine if bitcoin will become the world's currency, do you think that it will be able to supply all the people based on their demand and do you think that they can use it properly if the price or value of bitcoin is not fixed so those are the questions that needed to be realized by the people who want to replace the fiat with bitcoin.

It simply wont happen.  The government uses the issuance of dollar bills as a tool and can control inflation/deflation. The dollar is very much a tool and there is no incentive to give up control.
They control dollar because they created it, while satoshi even if he created bitcoin he does not control it and cannot control it.
That's the big difference, and we know our government is greedy so they won't give up their right to control us, at least they have to give way bitcoin
and let us use it to get freedom, in the end we will still use dollar to spend for transactions not available when using bitcoin.

I don't believe it. It means BTC would be accepted everywhere grocery store, hospitals within 15 years which seem to be impossible at this point of time. and for that, it needs govt approval and awareness among common citizens.

Dollar is the strongest currency in the world which is widely used and widely accepted across the world and bitcoin is still not too popular at a moment and if we have to spend our bitcoins then we need to sell it and convert to fiat so till the same scenario continues I don't think dollar is going anywhere as we need dollar to spend in real life where bitcoin is not accepted directly.

I feel it has the potential to replace BTC but shortly is just a small also much, I consider it would be excellent if it is in a position to change USD sometime but stating before long is actually asking for a huge alter very quickly.
