As long as one node is running Bitcoin technically, as entity, exists. But here's the thing, nodes are growing and growing not depleting. Let's look forward to deep underground nodes, floating in the vasts oceans nodes, and even space nodes - this means Bitcoin could potentially out survive the human race.
I think it might be survive if your guys keep doing a lot of reality effective ICOs which can affect to real life.
Or may be people create a new system/platform/technology currency working based on AI (Allience Intelligence)?

Actually I did not know what would happen for 100 years. Even tomorrow we do not know if bitcoin price is still high on the stock market.And do not know whether tomorrow or the next day many people know bitcoin. Now I'm glad I'm joining here. I need to learn more and share with others.

In my opinion, bitcoin can survive after 100 years if more and more official bitcoin users in the country's currency ... 
We all know that bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency. I think it can survive, because bitcoin is the first so everyone will make the first as a benchmark and will forever be used.
No one really knows hos exactly the future would be unfolded to us but since Bitcoin is now considered as the digital gold then I guess just like gold then it can survived the test of time. The only think I am thinking of is in case our communication infrastructure can be broken then we would really have a problem. Unlike gold, digital assets can be hard to secure if there would be disruption in modern technology except of course if we can find a way to still use Bitcoin even in the absence of the internet then it can be nice.

Bitcoin can not be destroyed and yes, bitcoin will survive after 100 years no matter how the world can be. However, I can not sure whether bitcoin still be valuable like it is right now. In the future, there will be more coins which are better and greater than bitcoin and because of that reasons, bitcoin will be replaced and people will not choose bitcoin as the priority option anymore.
I think bitcoin will survive after 100 years even a thousand year, because bitcoin is a high class currency that can easily adopt of any countries in whole world. I also believe that someday digital currency will replace the paper money in each nation. It was due to continues developing of technology by people.I agree with you along with the current technological developments the possibility of bitcoin will remain eksist after 100 years forward. But may be different value factor ,.

Your point is good! bu no one can knows the future but in my opinion bitcoin can stand for long time because many people right now who accept bitcoin as means of payment so if now is many people along the world who are interesting about bitcoin how about the future so I think after 100 years bitcoin still survives and stay strong.
Noone will know and alot can happen till then perhaps some other technology will supercede it and take over. A new Bitcoin in other words. Maybe even a new algorithm who can say for sure. The future is bright and interesting so we can say that at least.

I don't think it will last for a century because we have an event called halving day which is halves the block rewards and it increases the difficulty of mining in bitcoin if it will continue then it will not become a worth it decision to just stay in bitcoin for a century because they might lose money and also lose their precious time in bitcoin. 
It seems that no one has a definite prediction about bitcoin in the future and nobody knows about bitcoin later, but surely all hope about bitcoin will be able to survive until 100 years ahead.
I don't think it will last that long 100years or a century. There be new ones that will come out soon maybe 50 years or as early as 20 years from now that will replace the place where bitcoin is. That is possible and that is reality works. We can't change the fact that change is the only permanent things in the world.
yeah i got your point. but who knows? no one of us can see the future, maybe your right but we can hide the other side that could possibly happen. like this bitcoin if it can survive for 100 years. i come for yes of course bitcoin exist just a few years ago and its all the beginning of bitcoin in our society, although there are no acceptance of this in the other country but it would be happen so soon.

Who cares whether it survives for next 100 years or not as even if it survives we won't be alive by that time so instead of wasting time in thinking all this things its better to concentrate on making efforts and earning maximum amount of bitcoins and make great amount of money till its alive.
I don't think it will last that long 100years or a century. There be new ones that will come out soon maybe 50 years or as early as 20 years from now that will replace the place where bitcoin is. That is possible and that is reality works. We can't change the fact that change is the only permanent things in the world.
Investments, like Bitcoin, can be passed on from generations to generations. And it will survive after 100 years IF the next generation will continue on using and transacting with it. However, there is a big possibility that the next generation will have a better discovery or inventory of a new cryptocurrenct that could kill Bitcoin. Although the idea of Bitcoin is passed which is for is already a succeas for our generation to be able to created and started a digital curency and investment that is passed to the other generations to come.
100 years from now is year 2117. I think by that time, bitcoin is about $1,000,000USD lols. I think by that time, theres no more physical fiat available. All money is in the form of digital like crypto. Crypto currency is the future of fiat.
i think it is difficult to predict about the predict about the price of bitcoin at that time. but we can expect that bitcoin will remain exist and hope that at that time bitcoin will be the only currency throughout the world, and all the peoplee will be using it for everything. Jump to:
