The chance is there for a certain reason of having many investors and as the most establish cryptocurrency but because of bitcoin weaknesses like high transaction fee and others complaining of slow transaction this also could be lead to the competitors to find a way to bit bitcoin. But who knows this my words are still an opinion.
bitcoin will be developed into brand new form with basic principles but will have updated security and transaction aspects. Electronic funds will be average all over the world (for those who'll be able to have freedom lol I've watched a lot of anti utopic films)
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

It is very irrelevant quesiton I would say. Nobody can even speculate for next week how can anyone predict what will happen in 100 years. Whatever any person tells will just be their fantasy world.
That is hard to tell, no body knows but i hope so its still alive so that future generation can make the best of it.

The 100 years are so long. But some experts say that the bitcoins will reach that long time
I think 100 years is too long, we can't predict, and you also can't wait until that time, now no one know the accurate answer, but I know is that the currency is now a very good development

i think it will . but you cannt predict anything. it is crypto currency . its nature is fluctuation. price will be high and low at anytime. but no one can say what will happen after 100 years
Actually, I do not know but I think most of us hope that it will last 100 years. Let's just enjoy.
I think for the future that bitcoin will last more than one hard fork, and this can be as comfortable as a visa and mastercard. If this happens, then there will be no problem for bitcoin forever.

Why not i think bitcoin in 100 year become very strong currency in the virtual world as centralized currency the new technologoly are continually to become Progress.
Bitcoin being part of new high technology of modern era, the people not believe in Bitcoin someday turning to accept bitcoin because benefits can get adopting cryptocurrency are very huge profits.
Last year people accusing bitcoin as bubble currency but then is only an speculations for bitcoin want to destroy as king currency in cryptoworld.
I think that bitcoin will survive after 100 years because bitcoin have got the enough qualifications in order to have a high possibility for surviving the possible problems that it may encounter for the incoming more years for bitcoin. No one member right now will witness if btc will survive 100 years from now. We don't even have a time machine to see it. Even those expert, we can't be so sure about their prediction if what's really going to happen, on how long btc will be.
