Just look at how much the world changed in the last couple decades, do you think you could predict anything accurate about something that far? Things will only move faster saving a major disaster.
This could be bigger that we can't even imagine, like all payments will use bitcoin. Or it could be bitcoin is no longer exist after 100 years. But i believe that bitcoin can survive longer than 100 years or even more than 200 years.
I could'nt imagine how much is the price of bitcoin after a century, it may be tripled, doubled or maybe not circulating anymore because im sure that online community will create a new crypto or they will develop a better version of bitcoin, much tougher than any other crypto currencies, a hundred year is too long, even a second, the price flactuates, and creates an impact to our wallet
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

Yes of course I do really believe the bitcoin cryptocurrency will survive for a long period of time and even lasts up to 100 years from its existence. Now that the modern technology is continuously growing, there will be more great reasons for bitcoin to lasts up to 100 years because people can no easily access and go beyond it. Also, as we can observe, bitcoin is now getting more popular to many people across the world because of its continuously rising price rate that was really attractive to many people making it more tough enough to survive for a long period of time. I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

First we all accept we dont know the excact happen in the future. But when we talk about the good thing in bitcoin and good service on it. I can say that it can be last for long couple of years. When bitcoin is maintaning there good prospective and they not stop giving us upportunities to earn money. People would like to invest their life to it. People will look forward about there future in bitcoin.

Don't know about the 100 years but i can surely say that it has a bright future and its value will increase eventually to a great extent. We all know bitcoin has brought a big change in the lives of many people worldwide . It has a potential to rise and keep attracting new people to the platform. I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

I think it is going to be really popular and almost everyone around the world will use it. But i believe that you will see an additional paying method.Most likely 1 that doesn't can be found yet. So i believe you need to purchase bitcoins.

I think there's a new coin that can beat bitcoin, but it's not sure it will happen because we do not know what's going to happen with bitcoin in the next 100 years.
Of course it will survive, but the question is - which form it will get? I mean in 100 years probably BTC are not going to be the most popular currency, maybe it would be ETH or something else. But as a code it will exist.
Yes it is possible that the bitcoin can survive 100 years.. maybe the new generation can change the fiat money to cripthocurrencies in the near future, this time is happening that the bitcoin can used or can buy everything.
100 years is a very long time.Bitcoin is now popular but future we can no imagine.Future is unpredictable,all is just guessing.
No i do not think so because bitcoins will be mined in 2040 everything will be done than and no one will know what would happen to bitcoin after that i have a weird theory of satoshi revealing him or her self then but i am not so sure about that.
Well this can't be said easily as bitcoins is already fluctuates a lot in terms of prices. And bitcoin is a virtual concept, so there are chances either it may replace by any alternative like altcoins or any other crypto currencies, in 100yeard. There are possibilities that this whole concept of crypto currency will vanish and there is some other currency type trend at that time. Bitcoin is very trendy now, everyone is investing in it. So there are chances that it may survive and will than capture the whole economy and people will mostly trade in bitcoins and there will be a single bitcoin as a currency all over the globe. Nobody has seen the future, so we can not predict what will happen in future.
I actually do But maybe there will be other bitcoin for the reason that era, I mean there will be many things like bitcoin and it may also defeat bitcoin, even earlier than a hundred years. So even if it's just possible, but it is good if Bitcoin keeps enhancing constantly as fast as possible so that if many of their similar competitors are designed for it.
I have registered with bitclub to get a share of mining hardware. I'm sure that bitcoin will survive for a long time. I can tell you more about all activities of bitclub.
We all know that no permanent in this world except changes, so i think in the next generation there are additional currency that help bitcoin or in todays case of bitcoin i think it is accepted to the whole world after many years comes it can survive and much better than todays advantage of bitcoin.
Yes indeed bitcoin will survive for 100 years because when we see the progress of bitcoin in this short time so bitcoin really achieved a very good goals so if bitcoin can achieved such a goals in short time so there is no doubt that in coming time bitcoin will be rock and the rest of countries will also accept bitcoin so my answer is yes.

sometimes correct predictions sometimes wrong .. but the truth will be real for bitcoin survive the next 100 years if bitcoin users persist. the more that use bitcoin the more bitcoin lasts longer I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

Maybe after 100 year have passed robot be more important in economy and Bitcoin become native currency of machine.
Bitcoin can survive for more than 100 years, but it would be very painful to say that Bitcoin will have so many days.
This question is very hard to answer, Try to do the math if your'e still alive after 100 years. Now a day's is the best days of bitcoins because it has a very huge amount of value but we never know what will happen in the future so its still unpredictable.
