I also bought more eth just today. I consider eth a good buy because I am also confident it will easily break $1,000. Long term goal is $10,000 in few years or maybe in just a year or 2.
certainly it can reach that target again. because the most reason for the dropping in recently is fake news. but i believe that when the investors calm down. they will come back and pump ETH price
I think ETH will have a big growth in 2018 , because so many good tokens/coins are based on ethereums ERC20.

Ethereum price seems to be going very strong at the moment in the trading market, maybe the year of 2018 will be the time for Ethereum to create new high record in its value, it is still too early to predict how the trading trend on Etheureum will goes in the long run, but I am planning to purchase some of it for long term investment.

Really funny to read the first pages of this thread. It just shows again that you never ever should listen to anyone in the internet because nobody can predict the cryptomarkets. What seemed impossible and unimaginable 9 months ago is now a reality. The $1000 milestone was surpassed easily and now we are really heading towards $1500 in no time as if it was nothing. Crazy times.
I think 1500 is very real even by the end of this week. 2k by the end of January

It is like bitcoin now which grows in hundreds of dollars in just minutes.
Looks like there are a lot of buyers but the traders are also pulling it down. It is okay for me and I think this is just a play for something a lot higher.

After months of speculations and forecastings the long awaited all-time high of ethereum is finally reached. Will it follow the path of bitcoin that reached $20k? If the demands for ethereum continue to go up, it likely another level inthe coming weeks but a possible correction will slow down the momentum.
Classic error in understanding nominal price vs. total market cap. If ETH went up to $20k, it would be worth $2 trillion, which is 10x the current value of Bitcoin. Simple math... there's many more ETH coins compared to BTC.
Finally..The wait is over. The price is already 1025$..I think this could climb up to 3000$ in the span of 3-4 months.. 
based on the current price and movements of etherium thesedays , id say yes it is possible for it to reach the 1000 dollar price mark and it could even pump more because i see that many people are now slowly switching to etherium and also in other altcoins because bitcoin right now has gone for some seriuos problems like congested and slow network plus higher transaction fees. not only etherium but also some other alts like ripple and bitcoincash has also climb up drastically recently despite those holidays season (e.g christmas and new year )

I am quite optimistic with ETH as it will go to another chapter of its hardfork. Price may surge upto 10k$ each as it stands the most useful and stable coin out there. Not to mention the constant improvement every year.

I do not like to make predictions, especially since they already do not need the ether to break 1k, it made it even more valuable and reliable. no not at all, because first ethereum marketcap, which is total supply is too high, if ethereum was worth 1000 it would be 4x marketcap compared to bitcoin, which isn't possible, another reason is that ethereum is only a pump and dump right now, and bitoin is accepted by many merchants which use it as a real currency
$1000 not quite can see it hitting $100 at some point like others have said too many Ethereum in existance
It's a ridiculous statement. I will not expect a lot about the future of there but it looks like they will always increase soon. I think $100 is the irrational decimal for us. $1000 is very optimism speculation.
Impossible, Eth has 89 million total supply, if ETH is 1000 usd, it surpasses bitcoin's current market cap. But if Bitcoin is 20000 usd, eth may be 1000 usd, namely 0.05 btc, expensive enough right?
It can reach $100 but $1000 is impossible because ether is not used as a currency for payment like monero or bitcoin
I think eth will rise between $100 - $200 this year
