hello,I recently join a airdrop named TME in novaxchange, but I don't dare to trade in this platform.
because I don't have try trade in this platform.
and I want know Is it safe to trade?
thanks.

As far as I know novaexchange is no longer now functioning, and before they freeze or closed they've sent messages to their clients who used novaexchange to make some trading.

i dont think that novaexchange is still running because i recieve an email on them last two or three months ago stating that they are closing for some unkown reason.  however i could still stay that nova exchange is legit and safe because ive not experience any problems on the past. yet there were still some good exchanges out there that you can use as an alternative next to novaexchange like yobit, poloniex, hitbtc , etc. although you might still be carefull and always check the correct address before accesing or putting any important infos and credentials such as your private keys and passwords.

I believe it is safe. Novaexchange is the first trading platform I have used. I bought most of my coins from there. But since it is going to be decommissioned on next year, I have withdrew my coins and transferred it to their corresponding wallets. But today, I am having an issue. I have transferred my Stronghands to my wallet. Everything went fine but until now it is not reflected in my wallet. I have withdrew my coin last Dec. 18, 2017. Its been a week now and my coins is still not in my wallet. I have contacted Novaexchange regarding this and waiting for their reply. Other coins were successfully transferred, just stronghands. But, I recommend to use other exchange as Nova is going to be gone.

I never used novaexchanges but I have seen many messages from other that they don't have any problem with these exchanges.
They are paying withdrawals and deposits on time within limited time but they are not accepting any new coins in their exchange.

WARNING:   NOVA EXCHANGE = SCAM

It's been over a week now without being able to withdraw from Nova.  I'm calling Nova a Scam.  Otherwise there would be some explanation, a blog post, an email back from customer service.  Their system allows you to deposit funds just fine but when you withdraw it doesn't send the confirmation email. I get the login notification emails immediately.

(I define a scam as when someone takes your money without your permission, without giving back anything)

It's safe for now, all the exchange platforms are in risk of running , hacking . They have the same chance to be hacked or to run . So my suggestion is to divide your money into several exchanges.

yes i think it's a safe platform to trade cryptocurrencies. i didn't read claims against it and as i saw, everything is smoothly running in it.

Let me point your attention to this thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/nova-exchange-community-thread-1606107

In August, they added this to their terms:
Quote
BETA Notice

Novaexchange is currently in BETA mode in production mode until further notice. The BETA tag will be removed once all known bugs are fixed and no new bugs encountered for a period of 3 weeks. While BETA tag applies things can go wrong and Novaexchange will in timely matter help the user to restore (if any) digital currencies. A trade that has gone wrong can be reversed during 48 hours of the timestamp of the trade and only as long as the currency remain on Novaexchange, once withdrawn or 48 hours has passed that transaction cannot be reversed.

Shortly after, they shut down registrations -- I think they are still shut down for like 2 weeks now. Apparently they have been under attack. This has lead them to ban a wide range of IPs, locking many people out of their accounts.

People are also complaining of withdrawals not coming through. Apparently, email confirmations are not arriving. I urge people to be careful and avoid sending any funds to this exchange until the situation becomes clearer.

I'm having a problem with Nova Exchange.  Has anyone withdrew a cryptocurrency from Nova in the last 2 days and had it processed immediately?

I deposited about 6 days ago some Eth and traded it for Bro but I have not been able to withdraw my bro and I've tried each day for 5 days. When I click to withdraw it says Success and then to check my email for the confirmation.  The issue is I don't ever get a confirmation email. I've checked spam, promotions folder, etc.  So now the transactions are still there on the Ongoing transactions page (what a stupid name!)

I'm reading good comments in this thread and hoping its not a scam exchange and that they're overworked or something. I saw this comment on the website "Some withdrawals may need manual action from Novaexchange to be processed."   In that case I could see them getting backed up.  I really want to know which crypto can I withdraw immediately from Nova...

I've read multiple similar reports -- withdrawal confirmations not being received. Some people are having trouble accessing their accounts at all due to widespread IP banning and apparent 2FA token problems on Nova's side. In the community thread in Service Discussion, one user reported that withdrawals have changed from automatic to manual for withdrawals as small as a couple bit-cents!

On one hand, this might be good news; maybe there is just a support backlog and your withdrawal is awaiting manual approval. On the other hand, there are some red flags here. At best, they seem incompetent and unable to handle basic DOS attacks.

ARgh, I really don't appreciate scams in cryptoland, we're working towards transparent honest structures. We could use some type of site similar to what Forexpeacearmy is where there's a moderated response section for each broker, in our case exchange..  I searched google before I sent funds to Nova and didn't see any cause for concern. According to coinmarketcap they're doing 650 bitcoins of volume today,  wtf?

They list a lot of sh*tcoins in their website, but that doesn't mean it's a bad service. User experience is what counts.

I haven't tried novaexchange so far as mostly I prefer to trade on polo or bittrex as but overall majority of times I trade only on Polo due to low fees in compare to other exchanges and fast confirmations.

I have problem with NOVA exchange.

They didn't process the withdraw limitation verification I submitted and hold my money, and don't let my coins leave.

Many people have the same issue with NOVAexchange recently, NOVA exchange is keeping silence and they just want to hold your bitcoins.

They ignore customer's request and place customer's money at their exchange at high risk. If it is hacked, will they pay your lost? NO!!! But they hold my coins and don't let me withdraw more than 2000 dollars per day after I submit my verification information to them.

If NOVA exchange refuse withdraw limitation verification request from customers, it will place customers in danger:

1) Exchange being hacked, customer loose money. They don't pay
2) Customer need coins for other investment, they hold it and let customer loose big money. In cryptocurrency trade environment, you can imagine how serious impact to customer's assets.

NOVA Exchange, you should respect the traders who are using it!

I signed up for Poloniex but used different ID's which has halted my verification and going by what others have to say about Poloniex I'll be waiting forever to get verified so think I'll sign up with Nova instead. What is there verification process like?
even in nova exchange you need to get verified with original ID to send large money outside as i remember Exchange withdraw cap between 1000 - 2000 without verification .

My experiences on novaexchange are good. Only many coins, those are offered their are scammy. So you should asure at each deposit and withdraw, that the wallet of the coin, you want to transfer, is working at that  moment.
