I think that existing crypto and fiat casinos cannot really be put together into the same basket. They might be casinos but they are completely different as well. If the crypto casinos banked on that knowledge and used it to market to the fiat casino fans then they must have created a marketing plan which would make help the transition along. Basically a way of showing the gamblers "how much more fun and convenient a crypto casino could be than a fiat casino".
All they had to do was take the weaknesses of a traditional casino and show them to the user by offering a crypto solution to each of those cons. After that the gambler instinctively weighs out the pros and cons and decides to stay with crypto casinos.

yes it's true the fact is that many gamblers from fiat casinos have switched to online crypto casinos because maybe it's easier to attract lots of people to play gambling than traditional fiat casinos or something like that, this is evident from the statistics of crypto gamblers increasing since the pandemic until now it's even easier for them to use crypto than fiat and others, I am also a crypto casino gambler. 
There are more games and the transactions are quicker and many of them doesn't require for KYC. I guess it's a mind opener for those gamblers that it's best for them to just use crypto casinos. Many features can't be seen from the fiat casinos and they don't even need to visit one physically if they just want to gamble out and have fun.
Although there's the pros and cons to each their own but as people that have been here, we're safe to say that crypto casinos are way much better than the usual and traditional ones.

Crypto casinos have increased a lot in popularity during and after the pandemic, but they still can't beat online fiat casinos, which are more popular, probably due to sponsoring lots of sports' tournaments and championships around the world. Here in our country there are many betting platforms sponsoring such events, especially inside the soccer industry, including the participant clubs. Within time it's possible crypto casinos will also appear more frequently on those events, but for now it's not happening yet.

I think crypto casino is big because we are more active in forums that discuss crypto but out there fiat casino still dominates compared to crypto casino because not many people understand crypto too, you can see that fiat casino still dominates more advertising in every sports match while crypto only a few casinos have appeared. It will take time for crypto casinos to exceed fiat and it will be proportional to the development of crypto, more and more people know about crypto and know how it works, then casino based crypto will surpass fiat even though they will be constrained by regulations because fiat casinos are easier for the government to collect taxes from activities there. Sometimes traditional things will still dominate because not everyone likes change especially if they are not sure about how it works.

Yeah. I think it wont be easy for crypto casinos to completely churn fiat casinos in the near future. Fiat casinos have been around for a long time and many people still prefer the familiarity that comes with using traditional currency. Also, there are still barriers to entry for many people who are interested in using crypto for gambling like if they are not familiar with how to buy and use cryptocurrencies and there are still concerns about security and regulation in the crypto world.
I think fiat and crypto casino can totally just coexist.

You don't have to worry about your bank or whatever service you need to use to move the money.
There are a lot more ways to convert fiat to crypto and back then get money from your bank to an online casino.
Even in places where it is 100% state licensed and regulated some banks still do not allow those kinds of transactions. You can go to an ATM in a physical casino and take out to your daily limit, but move $50 to Caesars online through ACH and you get an account hold...

they are not much crypto casino fully functional in my locality but the I can certainly say that the pandemic really affected fiat based casino that involves the use of cash to bet. Another event that affected local casino in my place was the recent development on changing of the fiat currency in my country, it made alot of business to close down and this was due to the shortage of cash in every area of the country and this lead wonder, if they had been a crypto casino that is functional in my country, i would have and it would have led these fiat gambling casinos to loose alot of their customers. But the shortage of cash now cause everyone to create online fiat gambling platform where can easily get access to gamble.

Playing with fiat online and playing with crypto in an online casino feels the same to me, the only difference is that for the fiat they might be some restrictions because you are only allowed to use the currency of that country and convert to a different currency just so that you can access a different casino that is not in your country might seem like a lot of work to them. But with crypto, they can access they have the opportunity to access the casino globally and not be restricted since they now dealing with crypto and that's what most of them figured out and that also led to the increase in popularity.
Amidst all this adoption or people migrating to crypto-based casinos, we still have a lot of people out there that still won't use crypto-based casinos even if they are given free coins to just try them out.
