In my opinion, gambling is a game of chance, when they take spontaneous actions that are not considered beforehand, perhaps it is the same as them fully hoping for luck to happen and enable them to win. but in my environment there are only new gamblers, at the beginning of gambling they usually win, it makes me a little surprised so it's not strange if they become addicted because maybe the first win they get makes them believe that they can win again at gambling. the next one. Indeed, there are times when they will definitely get luck which will give them a win, but in my opinion this actually makes them addicted to gambling. There are even people around me who can't gamble without a single day, so every day they definitely set aside money to gamble, and I know what they are experiencing right now.
with the final result of the gambling carried out, of course, the possibility is defeat, which makes the gambler want to continue gambling to be able to win. I think this is where the importance of limits in gambling is, to limit the gambling that is done so that it is not too excessive, when you win, maybe you are lucky, but don't assume that luck can last long, of course luck in my opinion will not last long.
The fact that luck does not last long is generally a law not only of gambling, but in general it is a normal course of life for any person. Obviously successful days or events are always followed by ordinary days, among which there are also days that can be considered unsuccessful. But the fact that “newcomers to gambling are lucky” really seems to be the case. This is actually some kind of mystery, but many people have observed this, confirm it, and it’s probably true. Or maybe it’s just a phenomenon of the human psyche, when the first vivid emotions from winning simply remain in the memory, and if you lose, then the memory of this event in the beginner’s head is erased. This is simply the law of probability and the number of first losses should be equal to the number of wins if the game has a normal algorithm of provable fairness.
It turns out it's all about psychology.
It's true, luck doesn't only apply to gambling, luck also applies to other things, such as in our daily lives where of course luck can happen. Apart from that, in my opinion, winning at gambling is based on luck, it is impossible for luck to always be there, meaning it is impossible for every gambling that is done to result in a win, it feels like it is very impossible. However, it is true that beginners who gamble at the beginning usually end up winning. It sounds a little strange but it's true.
if they gamble, of course it is not a good thing, because if they gamble every day it will only make them addicted, and when they are addicted it is even difficult to recover, sometimes help from an expert such as a psychologist is needed, even though The majority of gamblers usually don't care about what happens, they will continue to gamble even though they always lose in their gambling.
