You know, it actually isnt easy to get addicted and here is why. People repeat doing same action only if he loves to do it or it brings him joy. For gambler to become addicted, he must have been winning frequently, that it will form a passion and desire to win again. If gambler loses all the time, I dont think that he will get addicted to gambling, because who gets addicted to losing and want to continue losing. Right? I dont believe that gamblers frequently win, so it will become a habit and they would want to win again and again.
Without self-control, even if you are not winning in gambling, you can still get addicted. Every addict has something that drags them there.

Some gamblers started with a very small amount of money, enjoying the game without any trace of big or constant winning, but they have been losing, so in order for them to recover what they have lost,

A lot of them chose to chase their losses, which is another way to get addicted to gambling before even realising it because the more you go after you lose to recover it, the more dipper you will get to the game, and that's how the amount lost is increasing, which will make it even more difficult to get back, so if the gambler is not in control and doesn't take time, it will be hard to get himself out of that shit.

How come a person get addicted if he constantly looses? One moment such person will realize that he is throwing money into bottomless pit and quit. Also those who chase their losses. At one moment such chaser runs out money and his career ends. If a person had unlimited amount of money, then it will be normal to endlessly chase losses and continue gambling even when constantly loosing. Also gambler does not gamble each day for all of his money. To stretch gambling process, he gambles with small amounts, but if he gambles rarely, then he might place big bets and try to chase losses. Anyway, likes it was said million times already, it is all individual.

Do you also know that when you gamble every day, there is a possibility that the person will get addicted to the game and not just the money they are going to lose? And when a gambler ends up getting addicted, do you still think the game will be boring for him or her? That's when that addiction will make it seem as if they are having fun playing the game, when it's far from the truth.

I don't see gambling as something that can ever bore those who are addicted to it, which is why when I'm talking about gambling every day and its effect, I can only add addiction as one of the effects, but boredom is far from it for me.

I definitely don't support the game every day. I think this strategy is definitely a losing one. It's just an excuse for addiction.
To be honest, a lot of people might argue this in another way, but it's really not too far from the truth, because when a gambler decides to gamble every single day of their life, they can't be sure that they can win their games every single day.

Gambling every day means you will be spending every day adding gambling expenses to your everyday budget, which is not something nice, no matter the level of wealth you have acquired.

It will be nice if the person minimises it and doesn't make gambling every day a habit. I know there are times when we can make a little amendment by gambling almost every day for some weeks, but that shouldn't be a habit to be carried out every single day till the end of the month as you will end up spending more than you earn in gambling.

But it might turn, that the more you gamble, the more you get bored or fed up with gambling. Like eating the same food over and over again. Even though gambling have large variety games, most of them are the same. And if you do same thing again and again, with time you might start to hate it. If we put aside money moment, this might really work.

My own opinion, which ever way you are using is not a problem, the only thing that matters is for you to understand what you are doing, set your strategy very well and do what ever you think is good for you, yes gambling every day is not a bad idea, it really draw you more closer to winning and you get more strategy to increase your chance of having more understanding in the gambling.
But playing gambling every day is not good for them, especially if they don't have anything to protects themselves. We knows that gambling can seduces many people who doesn't have good self control and other things needed. If he decides to playing gambling every day, he must very strictly with his rules and not makes him in trouble because he lose his self control. Many people do that but not many people can take care of themselves while playing gambling so we only see many people becomes addicted to gambling without have a chance to realizes what happens to them. Even if we have strategy, that will not be easy to control ourselves so we must have good self control and the other things needed to playing gambling moderately and will not spends too much money while we playing gambling.

There is a very high risk if we play gambling every day because the game is very difficult to make a profit but it is very easy to spend money quickly. and there, if the gambler is not equipped with a good understanding of good control, the gambler will really regret it in the end because of course he often makes many mistakes that exceed the limits of his abilities.

The best in gambling in order to feel also happy is to play as rarely as possible. This is the only way as for example when we play once a week as the maximum it means that most likely we won't be as sad with any result that come from that session compared to if we played every single day and had to experience for example 5 consecutive days of lost sessions, which is nothing new in gambling for most gamblers, most of us experience consecutive lost sessions without hitting a huge win,in fact we wait like 3-6 months to hit a normal big win,not a max win in a slot and that does not make up for our lost sessions,so in this context it is better to gamble as rarely as possible.

I myself gamble almost every day, except for two days a week, just for entertainment after work.  And of course that amount is very little that I can afford daily. And I also think that gambling with responsible with knowing your afford to lose then it is ok to do gambling everyday day. But we also have to keep an eye on that daily gambling should not make us addicted to gambling and we will be in great danger if we become addicted to gambling.
I think in case of your friend it is not in a normal situation your friend is and addicted gambler with greedy mind by seeing story it is seems that is only goal is to win jackpot from daily gambling. It should be controlled otherwise your friend will be in advance very soon.
As long as we are in control.
I also gamble every day but with small amounts because I am just targeting the wagering requirements so that I can get a good amount when the monthly and weekly bonuses come.
I am not aiming for a big jackpot although I want it if I could get lucky one time. Sometimes I do try spending 20 - 30 rounds per slot game and when a bonus will not arrive at that expense, I switch to another game and spend the same amount again. It keeps me entertained and somehow I am also preserving my money and avoiding to get rekt in a rush.
Last night I played slots, the first roll already gave me a bonus shot and I got x300+. That's what I want. I won't be staying too long in slots but still get that kind of win sometimes.

Absolutely agree with you. Strategy plays an important role in gambling, but unfortunately I like many other gamblers and could not find a strategy that would bring any profit. Therefore, for me personally, the possibility of daily gambling is completely excluded, because it is more likely to lead to greater losses compared to my schedule of gambling sessions.

There is nothing better than gambling in moderation because anything done in excess is always bad in any case and I think we may have often heard about some advice from people including some members here where they suggest to put a lot of restrictions on gambling involvement which is one of them is to apply limits to the time of involvement, the reason? of course gambling has a lot of temptations that can make gamblers tempted and ultimately bet an amount that is not in accordance with their abilities.

In the end, gambling every day will only lead you to more disappointing situations because the name of risk in gambling can never be avoided completely, and one way to avoid bad possibilities such as experiencing large losses is of course by limiting access or time of involvement in gambling, and for the problem of the idea that more often you gamble, you will win more often or get closer to victory is a ridiculous mindset that makes no sense when we talk about gambling.

Yes, strategy is the best, personally I have always said that as a player you have to do things well, that is why when we talk about strategies things can be very different, some people do not believe in strategies, they simply play because it is pure luck, But I am one of those people who believes that if something can be done according to strategies, I could say that when we are seeing that we can play intelligently with strategies, and luckily, things can happen, of course I do. have this strategy so that more and better things can be generated, but it is my way of seeing things with the casino, there are people who have their own vision of the game.

I respect those who say they do not believe in strategies, but I do not share them ,  and of course I start from the point of view of my Experience.

Gambling every day is a bad habit and no one can avoid gambling addiction by doing it. Because if the thing that we do every day is left out for some time, then it creates a kind of emptiness in us. so if he plays regular gambling he will always feel the emptiness of gambling. And I don't think it will be easy to find people who can afford to manage every day gamble budget Without ruining the financial situation. so everyone always should avoid daily gambling habit

Every day gambling is just equal to addiction because as much as you keep gambling everyday, that's how you will deny yourself of some other achievements or daily responsibilities of life such that all your focus would be towards your gambling and how to win and it would lead to financial instability because as soon as you have money you will think of spending it on gambling so everyday gambling is not encouraging at all.
Well, you are right and wrong, wrong in the sense that, some people can actually go to their business place, or work, and after having a really hectic day there, will come back home in the evening feeling very tired, all they just wanna do is take their bath, have dinner and  lay down keeping themselves busy with something online while waiting for sleep to come, that thing could be gambling as well, I can't count the number of times I've had such experience where after a hectic day at my day activities, I cool it all off while lying on my bed with my phone in my hands playing my favorite slot or casino game.

Okay but even if you still have time to do other life activities you will still be thinking more about your gambling even while at your work place you will be so anxious to close from work and just go home then try some luck if you can win more especially at a time when your earnings is not enough and you need extra money to solve some immediate financial situation.

Quote
But then, on the other hand, you are right in the sense that, doing the above every day can really cause the person to sooner or later become addicted to gambling in such manner every day, because gambling in itself is a very addictive activity, this is why it's sure wrong to do it every day in order for our brains not to get used to it.

No body can tell me that they can't get addicted on every day gambling, infact anything that you devote time to do on daily basis makes you become addicted because at a time you will find it difficult to go a day without getting involved in such activities. Every day gambling should be discouraged because immediately you start gambling everyday before you know it you will start giving your gambling life more priority than anything else.

There was a friend of mine who visited me a day after and he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning.

I asked him how?

He said when you keep trying luck every day you stand the chance not to miss your luck of winning, he also made reference to few people around our locality who won outrageous Money within 31 Dec to 1 January 2024, asking if I knew how often those people keep trying for them to have the winning they got.

I said No! He then say the more you space the more I missed my chances of winning but what I came to understand is that, the more anyone keeps trying the slimmer such persons turns into gambling addiction becus such person will always want to gamble regularly stirring up some forms of pressure to himself. When there is no money to gamble such person don't mind going extramile to source for funds since he has install this mentality of regularly gambling without giving break.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.
I definitely don't support the game every day. I think this strategy is definitely a losing one. It's just an excuse for addiction.
I don't think that we should emphatically say this, gambling should be engaged at any time, though your opinion is highly respected since you would have your reasons as well. But for me, it is good to have a balance through the gambling strategy and management, and the said management includes money and risk management and "self" management as well. With this, I can gamble at any time because what I listed above is already enough to check and balance my gambling activities, and if I am not losing through it, then I will surely be fine. Gambling is a huge means of having fun, so if that is the motive of the gambler, should such a gambler deprive himself of the fun every day?

No. Of course, such a gambler might have some day off, but if he wants to gamble for fun for 7 straight days uninterruptedly, I do not think it is a bad idea to do that. Also, if it is to make money, once you have a good plan for it, it will never affect you. But first, the person who will be gambling every day must ensure that he is not wagering big money every day. We all know how risky gambling is, so knowing your capability in terms of finances and the winning possibilities is equally important here for successful gambling. And even if the gambler loses at times, there might be self and money/risk management that will never let it affect him so much.

Above all, do what you like and as you like it, we are not the same people.

In my opinion, both sports betting and slots are equally addictive. In slots, you are looking for a strategy on how to hit the jackpot by manipulating the bet or going through the slots, and in sports events, it is a search for insider information about the match you want to bet on, plus dealing with team scales, player injuries, and so on. In both cases, you need to have a sober head so as not to turn the game into an addiction.

Gambling addiction has nothing to with the specific games you put your money on. Gambling has this spirit of making you feel you can double your money, it will tell you to risk Y amount to make an X amount but then you aren't sure how possible it is. If you do it with sense, you might make it and you might not make anything but if you make nothing out of it and you were able to stomach it, then you have nothing to worry in the future but if you want to forcefully recover the money that you lost, you might end up addicted faster than you think.

Whether it's sport bets, casino games or crypto games, online or physical games, if you do them too much, you will feel the effect very well. In fact, if there is anything you do in this life and you go extreme about it, you will reach a point of marginal satisfaction where the positive side will turn to a bad side.

Consistently gambling with no limitation or control definitely will lead a player to addiction. Regardless of the time interval. Don't you think that those who gamble once or twice a week also get addicted to gambling? One session or two is certainly enough to make a negative impact on a player. Addictive reactions on gamblers show up unexpectedly and the player would flow if he has no strong self control. I think gambling everyday is not the only road to addiction.

Although, It seems as one with most gamblers who are addicted. Because they can't go a day without gambling. But, lots of daily gamblers are not addicted. They can stop at the right time and abide by their strategies and personal guidelines on gambling. Personally, addiction is a part of gambling. Just as nobody can predict the right game consistently, same way figuring out how addiction completely operates is unpredictable. Anybody can get addicted even the once a week type of gambler.

Gambling every day must have negative consequences. People who gamble daily consider as addicted gamblers. And an addicted gambler can never take a break from gambling. If a gambler thinks that he only gambles regularly after his work every day and it is only to pass his free time then that can be accepted. But I am sure people who don't take gambling as a source of income will never gamble daily. Just as daily gambling is an addictive activity that can destroy financially, it also increases the human stress on a gambler. Therefore, whether a gambler is addicted or not, he should not gamble every day.
It is only one that is addicted to gambling that toy can always see playing gambling everyday. It is impossible to see someone that is not addicted to play gambling everyday. When one starts playing gambling everyday it is hard for the person to come out from it. Gambling everyday seriously have a negative effect that. Gamblers needs to learn to control their gambling habit because it can lead one to a very serious problem.

Playing gambling everyday will definitely make one to become addicted to gambling, if people want to avoid been addicted I think it will be good to avoid playing gambling often.
Playing gambling every day requires very strong self-control because he will face pressure. He will find it difficult to resist the urge not to gamble because the temptation that comes will be even greater. That would only make him addicted to gambling and no one would have ever expected that.

Even if someone says he gambles every day after work and only uses a small amount of money, that doesn't guarantee he can prevent himself from spending more and more money. He could lose control of himself and it would only be a matter of time. A person who uses gambling to fill his time will not risk losing his money and will avoid gambling every day.

We should be able to set time to gamble and not have to gamble every day. With the self-control we have, we can enjoy gambling as an activity to fill our free time.

Even if they gamble once for 3 hours every day, not only will their family be worried, but in my opinion this could also make them addicted to gambling and after that it will make them lose a lot of money. obviously when someone does this and their family finds out then in my opinion they will be labeled as a gambling addict, and with that I think their family will be worried about their family members who have become addicted to gambling, because many cases of gambling addiction have occurred and destroyed family relationships and herself.

It is not recommended to gamble every day, although there are some gamblers who think that the more often they gamble, the closer they are to gambling, that is a ridiculous alibi that I have heard, there is no way that this guarantees that they will be able to win at gambling. Gambling generally only makes us lose money, there is no way to win for sure.
If a player really plays for 3 hours every day, even on weekends and holidays, then this is probably already a gaming addiction.  This is almost guaranteed to be a mental illness, although many of these players can justify themselves by claiming that this is, in fact, their job.  However, of course they are losing money, not making money.  And by the way, I don’t think that they get strong emotional pleasure from such a game simply because their game actions always turn out to be standard, mechanical.  They practically behave like robots, like automatic players.
But of course, such a passion for gambling naturally causes fair concern for all members of their families.  And I think sometimes it’s also difficult to get such players to start treatment for such gambling addiction.  They just don’t consider themselves sick.  And that's the problem.
If they only play for three hours on weekends, I don't think it's a problem, but if they play every day for three hours on a regular basis, then it's a problem, and I think they're addicted. And of course, addiction is a mental illness, because they can't control themselves properly. Instead of wanting to make money by gambling, it only makes them lose money and even then with addiction that can make them lose a lot of money. And indeed it is their own loss.

With their addiction to gambling it clearly makes them miserable, with the bad effects that are not playing can make them so destroyed their lives, and can even have an impact on their own families. With the addiction they experience, in my opinion, the impact can indeed spread to their family or closest people who do not know anything. Someone who is addicted will not admit that they are addicted to gambling. So they just think what they do is not wrong even though it harms and harms them.
