Just leave your friend he is either a newbie getting into gambling and doesn't know that he is wasting his money or he is getting addicted and is giving excuses for it.

To me it's not bad to have a habitual gambling habit everyday if you can win everyday and I think a successful gambler is one who has more wins than loses cumulatively, so IMO if he is winning everyday which in this case he is not, he is good to go, but if he is not then he should understand that excessive gambling is a waste of money.

You can advice him to play running games since they take longer to play out than for him to go for the daily if you want to help him reduce his habit
I don't believe there are gamblers who can win every day especially if it's a casino game. Now if it is sports, I don't believe one person can know so much about many sports. If he did, it's difficult to focus on one of those. Also, there's a hiatus for every sport so there will definitely be a rest at some point and he won't be able to bet every day.

The thing about gambling every day is we are increasing the losing part. The house edge is there so it means the gambling sites will be taking money from us. Even if those are just cents of a dollar per hour it would still mean a lot if all are piled in one container. It would still be better if we could rest a bit after a win. I mean, just savor all the profits. Go out, relieve the stress, eat good food, or go shopping. It doesn't matter what it is as long as we are away from gambling and we can somehow find joy from the profits we make.
After that, I promise we will be like a newborn gambler who feels the fun of betting once again.

You friend is a very big lier. So those who win only one game are called what? He was trying to lure you to be a perpetual gambler. And that is how they normally do to influence people to become gamblers. And if you gamble everyday and you win once then the casino return your money which you have been losing to you back they would be still change remaining in the casino side and tht means you are still at the losing side. Gambling is all about luck so if you like play gamble everyday for one full year and if you don't have luck to win you won't win anything. There are some people that wins small amount every week but even at that the amount they lose is more than the amount they win. Please don't follow your friends footsteps.

There was a friend of mine who visited me a day after and he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning.

I asked him how?

He said when you keep trying luck every day you stand the chance not to miss your luck of winning, he also made reference to few people around our locality who won outrageous Money within 31 Dec to 1 January 2024, asking if I knew how often those people keep trying for them to have the winning they got.

I said No! He then say the more you space the more I missed my chances of winning but what I came to understand is that, the more anyone keeps trying the slimmer such persons turns into gambling addiction becus such person will always want to gamble regularly stirring up some forms of pressure to himself. When there is no money to gamble such person don't mind going extramile to source for funds since he has install this mentality of regularly gambling without giving break.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.

I think the narrative of luck in gambling is an attraction for someone to gamble, but actually luck doesn't guarantee that you will win while gambling, Let's say today you win $100 and you definitely call it luck, right?
but  what about the amount of money you have spent just to get  $100?
I don't think that if we keep gambling we will get luck because fate is unpredictable and of course luck doesn't just come from a gambling win, besides if you keep waiting for luck by continuing to gamble then what happens when you go bankrupt because you keep gambling while luck hasn't arrived yet?

I swear, if your friend was near me, of course I would try to punch him in the face, because in my opinion, what he said was nothing more than the thoughts of someone who is crazy and full of fantasies about gambling, my advice for you, whoever your friend is, you better not listen to him because his words are not true and just to plunge you into bankruptcy.
If I were you then I would try not to believe what he says and in fact I would try to avoid it so that he knows that what he says is just empty talk, apart from that maybe you can advise him not to gamble every day because it can cause financial problems for him someday.

It's true that gambling can be done responsibly as long as the person in question has a great level of self-control. But the question should be, is the level of self-control control common amongst most gamblers or are some gamblers just prone to addiction and they might not be able to have that level of self control, no matter how hard they try to acquire it?
All gamblers have their self-control but because many of them gamble for too long which makes their self-control decrease. That makes many gamblers losing their self-control which they must take care when they playing gambling. They forget to always have self-control but after losing streak or win some money, their self-control decrease and that can give a chance for their greedy to increase. That makes them continue playing gambling instead to stop their gambling activity because they already playing gambling for some times. That's the times for them to losing their money and if they don't realizes what happen to them, they will lose all of their money. Once they lose all of their money, that will not easy to recover their lost.
You have a nice psychology behind gambling addiction. We can all agree that there's a lot of  factors at play here, like the length of time someone spends gambling, the decrease in self control over time, and the increased sense of greed and also the desire to win more money.
It's more of a downward spiral, when people get caught up in thia cycle of chasing wins and losing money in the process, and then it becomes harder and harder to break free from it.

Gambling every day is a bad habit and no one can avoid gambling addiction by doing it. Because if the thing that we do every day is left out for some time, then it creates a kind of emptiness in us. so if he plays regular gambling he will always feel the emptiness of gambling. And I don't think it will be easy to find people who can afford to manage every day gamble budget Without ruining the financial situation. so everyone always should avoid daily gambling habit

It still depends on what kind of game you are playing. You can’t simply call consistency as an addiction if there’s no excessive spend of bankroll on their bets. There’s a lot of gambler here that placing bets on sportsbook everyday and still live a normal life because the game they are playing is time dependent which they have time to relax while waiting for their bet to settled.

But in most cases especially those slot players usually have a high tendency of being addicted since this game is a fast game while you can play anytime you want without interruption. I believe this is the only type of games which gamblers might be addicted if play regularly in daily basis.

If we finds pleasure in gambling every day, then why not go ahead, this is nothing than a form of getting entertained during the leisure time, we needed to have fun and there's no limit to how we can get expose to this as long as we can afford to, some make use of gambling as the only means to wave away their stress from their busy busy schedules, some do that to engage themselves with other fellow gamblers for having fun, we need to be happy every day, be in excitement mode, feel relaxed and be cheerful when we had our day being filled with gambling activities.

It's very different though if we are playing everyday and then losing money. There will be a time that we can't afford to lose it any more and so the fun and entertainment will stop and what we think is to chase that loses and we all know how bad it is mentally for gamblers.

So for me it's not going to be healthy in the long run, not just the money, but the psychological effect on us. There could be wild emotions, we feel depressed if we lose and we not might function because of our gambling everyday, just saying.
If you want to gamble every day, you have to allocate a budget every day, which will not be possible for everyone because almost everyone has a limited income, so gambling will not be possible after meeting the family expenses with this limited income. Because gambling will not always win anyone. The amount of loss in gambling is very high, so no matter how expert one is, he cannot continue to gamble every day. And if he does, he will be completely ruined financially. So one should never gamble daily.  If he cannot afford to accept that loss
if someone afford gambling loss then he-she can gamble not only every day can use every single minutes. The real issue is whether he can afford to accept gambling losses. We often face many questions about gambling and the only solution to all of them is the ability to accept losses and risk management. anyone who is able to do this has no problem using gambling in any way. But it is not right to use gambling seriously.  Because it is not any kind of career

       -   If a gambler is not rich, I am pretty sure that someone like me who is not rich cannot afford that. But for the rich, it's just a coin for them, or it's easy for them. Another thing is that if the intention is just to have fun, it doesn't matter to them, especially if you are rich.

But if the state of your life is only moderate, you will not gamble every day because most of the time gamblers lose in all types of casinos, whether online or offline. This most often happened to the majority of gamblers.

There are logic in your point because most of the person situation kind of same as you saying on your post. So in this case that will be never be better if anyone do gambling everyday on the others hand it can be bring a disaster situation in his life. But those person who have ability to make a minimum fund for gambling in everyday those can do if they want. We all know that gambling is harmful and greed kills people. Gambling every day will create a craving for more and gradually lead to addiction. When the person becomes more greedy, he or she does not control the urge to gamble but tries hard to hide the gambling behavior. They do not hesitate to resort to hiding lying and even various forms of deception. Nothing can keep them away from that work. This addiction can destroy a person's life try to control yourself without becoming greedy.
Actually, if you're just addicted to gambling, it's not a big problem. the problem is uncontrolled addiction where we keep playing without stopping, and don't manage our finances well.
As long as you play responsibly, even if you gamble every day I don't think it's a problem. because everyone's satisfaction with playing is different.
They don't matter if you manage the financial system very well. We should all stay away from betting the entire principal amount at once, then the chances of losing your entire amount at once will be greatly reduced. And you get a chance to recover later. The main point here is that the economic system operates very well.

Whether a gambler gambles daily, gambles once a week or gambles monthly is entirely up to him. If a gambler is profiting from gambling every day then there should be no problem if he gambles every day. Or if a gambler can entertain himself by gambling every day then he must gamble every day. In this case, if he has any problem or if his gambling does not cause any family or social damage, then there will be no problem if he participates every day.
However, if a gambler is mentally disturbed or mentally stressed by participating in gambling every day, then he should not participate in gambling every day and take a break for a week.

Likewise with gambling activities every day, in my opinion it is not good, because spending money and time in the same place continuously, where the chance of winning will not necessarily continue to increase. Because there is no definite formula for guessing odds in gambling, because the odds will continue to change even if you play the same game consistently. Therefore, it is better to stop before it is too late, or reduce the percentage to minimize losses regularly, for a better future.
Wherever something is detrimental, it certainly won't be good, but as long as you can prevent it, it's still better than letting it happen. We know that it is very difficult to stop gambling every day, especially if you have an addiction such as smoking or drinking alcohol and the symptoms are almost the same. Gamblers will not stop as long as the money is still there and I think it will not end as long as there is still greed for every human being.

Gambling isnt harmful if you are really just that responsible towards your actions on which this is something that you would really be needing to take care on. If you do find yourself that being gradually addicted
then it would be better that you should really be stopping midway. We do know that when it comes to potential addiction then gambling could really give out that kind of probability on which we know that
each one of us does have that kind of certain greed level. Some could be able to control and some cant really be able to do so which it would really be resulting into that too much involvement into it.

Gambling on everyday wont really be that bad if you do really just that make yourself that responsible then it would really be always best that having that control and moderation.
You would really be putting up yourself on such great trouble if everything would really be tending to be excessive. Just play for fun and not really just that for the sake
of making income because this is where people do mess up.

Not only may gambling addiction cause financial difficulty, but it can also have a significant negative emotional effect on us. We may incur debt, claim bankruptcy, and experience worry, depression, and stress as a result of our obsession with gambling. Addicts who can't stop gambling may genuinely wish to find a means to support their addiction, even if it puts them in danger. In addition, we can ignore our loved ones, ruin our friendships and family relationships, and risk losing their trust as a result. The fact that being greedy is the reason why we can do things that are out of our limits and are not good for us. We occasionally put our own desires, such as a gambling addiction, ahead of the welfare of others, forgetting what really matters and making ourselves a burden for them in the meantime.

Absolutely, addiction is never a good thing, and gambling addiction is especially tough to overcome. Even if someone can restrict how much money they spend on gambling, there is always the question of how much time and mental energy they devote to it. And I believe that's where a lot of the actual issues arise: when individuals start ignoring other aspects of their lives, such as relationships, employment, and personal well-being. So, even if someone manages to keep their gambling budget under check, they may still be harming themselves in other ways.
Actually its not really that bad to gamble, the only bad thing comes only on the time that you would really be making yourself that getting addicted to it. They dont really be able to wreck up their finances and this is how gamblers should really be having this kind of approach on things on which they do have that kind of control and this is something
that those gamblers should really be taking into. Gambling in everyday isnt bad as long you do have the control and this is something that had been proved out already.
It is really just that there are people who are really that impulsive and ended up on having no control with their gambling activity.

That's right, and for the problem of gambling it is clear that I think we all know that gambling has risks which can sometimes be greater when you are not able to treat gambling activities well or with the approach that is generally recommended by everyone. This means that gambling can make you experience a lot of problems, especially in terms of finances, if you apply the idea of gambling every day, we must understand that gambling has the property of stimulating the human brain and mind over time, in the sense that sometimes people do  not realize that they have done something - things that they are actually unable to account for when they ultimately lose..

This is because there are so many things that look tempting in gambling that are actually nothing more than a temptation for you to go further down the wrong path. As you said that this bad possibility can still be prevented and that's true but with a note that we must have a correct understanding of what gambling is, because of course usually what makes it difficult for someone to stop in time is because they don't know that they have gone too far, such as applying greed when the situation wins which in the end makes them experience losing the amount they had previously earned, all of this can never be prevented if you don't have the right understanding of gambling and obviously in the end you will only be able to stop when all your money is gone.

he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning

This depends on who is in control, the gambling or yourself.   If you are learning and advancing in your experience and knowledge then I tend to agree with your good friends opinion.     If you were being thrown about and overly emotional purely reactionary in your decisions then I dont think we learn anything at that point we are just the passenger singing along whether it goes high or low like a rollercoaster.  I know people enjoy both but I think you have to observe to learn and not just react, generally I think experience helps build you up to greater things.

Generally I would agree that over time its a factor to enable your path to a better game.  Hence I often recommend to return after some time dont try and win it all in one day as if you are in rush, if you rush you trip is my saying on these things Smiley

if someone afford gambling loss then he-she can gamble not only every day can use every single minutes. The real issue is whether he can afford to accept gambling losses. We often face many questions about gambling and the only solution to all of them is the ability to accept losses and risk management. anyone who is able to do this has no problem using gambling in any way. Even if you can afford the lose because it is not a big amount of the money, but there is still another problem. When you make it as a regular activity every single day, you are getting closer with addiction. I think gambling isn't a must to be done every single day, moreover if you have busy activities on your jobs. You can do it every 2 days, one a week, or when you have spare time in weekend. I doubt you will end up with addiction if you make it as a regular habit every single day.

Yep. Just think that gambling is for fun, don't make it as a serious matter. When you make it as the main job and you dream to rich instantly, you are no longer gambling in a proper way. Sometimes, you need to evaluate your gambling habit whether it is still in an appropriate way or not. Kindly changes your gambling habit if it looks like to bring bad impacts into your life.  Wink
