I take things a little bit more easy. Those $5 I can easily spend on daily gambling, I can spend on a lunch. But instead I can take lunch from home to work. And on the weekend, I am sure that I will find something for lunch at work. Or I can spend those $5 on a coffee on the way to work. Or I can get a coffee at work. Anyway, those $5 are not a life changer, but I spend them on trifles daily. Important notice - I am not gambling like every day, but I can say that 5 out of 7 days at week I spend some time gambling. Some people might call me addictive gambler. But I can always stop if I want. Gambling is not my life goal. And the money I spend on gambling isnt actually that much.

That's true, in fact I think I often skip lunch at my workplace, sometimes I'm more concerned with drinking coffee and burning a cigarette than eating. I think $5 is not too big and will not change us to experience difficulties as long as we can control everything well. but perhaps some people there who are very careful in managing their money will have a problem with spending it if it is used for things that are not very important in their lives. No one here knows how we carry out our own gambling activities, whether we do it often or rarely, only that we can exchange stories and remind each other to avoid the bad effects that will occur if we gamble excessively.

What you say is true, gambling is not your goal in life, in fact I think for some people it is the same as you. Apart from that, gambling every day is actually everyone's right, but what I'm afraid of is losing self-control which can make us addicted to continuing to invest money in gambling without realizing that we have lost a lot of money in gambling. If there are people who gamble every day, I hope they can be careful by having strict boundaries and discipline.

Gambling everyday is a way of keeping yourself in debth.Do you know what being in depth means? So many person won't know, but the period I was gambling everyday,I really felt the heat because there is no day you will have money,I mean it dries everything in your pocket. The little money you have in your account, you will use it to gamble, and that's all you keep doing everyday until you eventually realises yourself and change for good.
I hate gambling everyday now,I gamble only on football, but I don't gamble everyday.

but you know that their are set of people that gamble everyday and their incomes are much more better then does that gambles twice in a week. Why I say this it's because I've seen someone who gambles every blessed day of his life and his not lacking at all. You know gambling it's all about risk and losses but if you go for the risk every day you'll surely get something towards it, but if you go towards the losses you'll get scared of gambling. But this set of people that gamble everyday they see gambling as a means of earning money for the day, because their monthly incomes isn't enough for them but better still you'll surely run dry sometimes because you won't have the luck every day. Even if is a game of luck but it's more loss then winning. As gambling and the addicted ones can't stay a day without gambling cause it's helps them sometime and it doesn't help sometimes also.
For gambler go balance the equation, the gambler needs to have a hustle (business or being a huge salary earner). If a gambler is receiving a salary of $100 and wagers 50% or 60% from his salary, it shows that the gamblers is not make a smart move and it could affect him if he is a type of person that has a responsibility to care of. But if one gets a salary of $1000 per month he can bet $200 and still sort out ways to settle his/her bills perfectly.

There was a friend of mine who visited me a day after and he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning.

I asked him how?

He said when you keep trying luck every day you stand the chance not to miss your luck of winning, he also made reference to few people around our locality who won outrageous Money within 31 Dec to 1 January 2024, asking if I knew how often those people keep trying for them to have the winning they got.

I said No! He then say the more you space the more I missed my chances of winning but what I came to understand is that, the more anyone keeps trying the slimmer such persons turns into gambling addiction becus such person will always want to gamble regularly stirring up some forms of pressure to himself. When there is no money to gamble such person don't mind going extramile to source for funds since he has install this mentality of regularly gambling without giving break.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.
Well, to be honest with you, I do not think that gambling everyday is better when it comes to winning and losing in gambling, either of this outcomes strictly will always boil down to how luck a gambler is, and this doesnt or has anything to do with the gambler gambling everyday.

I have a friend who have gambled everyday straight for over 30 days without winning any amount that is withdrawable, that is, he always winning tiny amounts of money like in the range of $1 to $5, he will put it back into the game and end up losing it all back to the casino.
Maan while, in the space of 3 days, another new gambler in my area celebrated winning over $7,000 while playing a Slot game.

So, in conclusion, gambling everyday may or might seem like it increases one's chances of hitting the jackpot, but reality, it's just a misconception, one will still require to be lucky to win.

On the moment that you do consider out gambling as your source of income then sooner or later you would really be able to taste up that miserable life you are about to experience.
Gambling is never been that an alternative or a solution if you dont have that income because instead on making yourself having that kind of solution. You would rather find yourself on a tough
situation just because of too much loses and this is something that you should really be avoiding in the first place. This is why it would really be best that you should really be that doing gambling for
fun and never ever make yourself that being delusional because people do mess up their lives at the moment that they are going for those things which arent that something realistic or possible.

You can gambling on everyday as long your money would be that sufficient but of course you should be only spending on the amount that you can afford to lose
and never make yourself that go beyond your limits.

There was a friend of mine who visited me a day after and he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning.

As far as one can afford loss and doesn't hamper his life financially, he can go and gamble for fun. But keep gambling everyday just not to miss a luck day is stupid act. What if he finally wins in 31st dec losing all year from 1st of jan to 30th of dec? Is that win even worthy? Can he wins back what he lost at least in just one win losing all year? Winning amount most probably will be just a small fraction of what he would have lost. So one should gamble with responsibly and for fun with the amount he could afford even with loss.
This is definitely stupid behavior.
However, I would point out that I do not understand what makes quite a lot of people play completely thoughtlessly.  That's probably just how their brains are wired.  Sometimes such players don’t even keep track of how long they play, and don’t even keep track of how much money they’ve already lost.  And such people generally do not pay attention to criticism from their close relatives and ignore any comments from these relatives.  And these guys, with such disgusting and irresponsible behavior, say that they know what they are doing, although in general everyone understands that they are simply losing, and often even more than the family budget can allow.

I think there are many such players.  I would call them overly gamblers.  And they are of course excellent clients for any casino.

Those who already have a gambling addiction tend to be very sensitive individuals, especially when discussing their gambling activities. And the thing that makes me less understanding about their behavior and personality, even though they often experience losses and lose a lot of money because of gambling, when other people try to remind them or just give advice, they always deny it and often even look for justifications for the stupid things they do when they do it. was in a gambling game.

And I have to admit, it is quite difficult to be able to make someone aware of their bad behavior in gambling, even though that person is someone closest to us. even though what I did was just to show that I cared about him, but what I couldn't stop thinking about was, when I tried to make him aware, the person actually hated me back.

There is not much to understand in a situation where we have a close person to us that has lost his mind as only people who lose their minds become ill addicted. In such case the only good thing to do is to talk and keep talking to them,it will not come in the first discussion with them,we need to insist until we achieve two things from such persons, the first one is the most positive case where the persons by talking openly about it start to quit gambling little by little, these cases are extremely rare so we move to the second case and that is we finally convince them to go to gambling rehab centers,we continue to talk to them and explain them that no one has achieved anything great or good from gambling in the long run.

There is no shortcut to quitting gambling,I am trying from quite some time and some results I can see,I don't gamble weekly now,I have gone from weekly to bi-weekly or even more without gambling.Consistence is key,is better to make a small step every day as they say 365 days x 1.01 is better than 365 x 1.00 meaning small steps are better than making no steps at all toward your goal,in this case quitting gambling.

Lol. Everyone is entitled to there opinion and decision. I do lay emphasis on the need for gamblers to limit the way they gamble because winning is not guaranteed, and gambling every moment can lead to Addiction, of which for me shows that such person might be jobless because other activities can be done for personal development rather than consuming time on gambling sites. No matter how we stress fhis topic they are still some that will choose to keep on, one thing is sure every action have consequences good or bad.

No work, be it gambling or any other work, should be done without interruption as it requires physical and mental rest.  Apart from physical fatigue people feel mental fatigue due to which people do not have concentration towards work.

I agree that no work should be done without a break, only gambling shouldn't be treated as "work" in the first place. Gambling should be treated as entertainment. I would rephrase your words as follows: "No leisure activity, no entertainment should be done without interruption." That's what I totally agree with. If you gamble all the time, even if you liked it, it would become boring and it would be like some hard work. And tell me, why anyone should be working hard and not getting big money for that, but pay for that form their own pocket?

Interesting question. I think the first answer that comes to mind is that addiction is so strong that it depletes a person. But still, if this is not such a case, then most likely the person believes that the efforts are paid off by the pleasure received. In the end, gambling is a voluntary activity, and if someone does it around the clock, it is unlikely because he was chained to a slot machine and forced to play  Grin

Nothing is good in excess of necessity. One thing that can be guaranteed is that people who gamble daily will become more addicted to gambling. If you try one thing over and over again, you will want to do it over and over again. So if we take gambling as a pastime instead of playing it daily then it is good for all of us because those who get addicted to gambling have a dark future. And those who consider gambling as a means of earning are most mistaken. Gambling can never be a means of earning. Daily gambling makes the person very greedy which makes the person suffer more. So we should accept gambling in such a way that we do not become addicted to it and do not suffer from that gambling.
Gamble can be enjoyable. Its exciting, like closing a huge transaction or shooting a hole-in-one. Just like anything else, too much good may be bad. You endanger your health and money if you overindulge. People, moderation matters. Like good Scotch, a little goes a long way. Drink responsibly, savor it, and know when to stop. Same with gambling. It should be fun, not financial. Stick to limitations and dont chase losses. Leave if you lose control. Dont be ashamed to say enough. Be responsible when gambling. Remember, neglecting yourself is the biggest risk. Smart, disciplined, and most importantly, successful in all aspects of life.

If a gambler can profit from gambling every day and is capable enough to take risks then he can participate in gambling every day without any negative consequences. As whether or not to participate daily depends entirely on a gambler's ability, he can participate in gambling seven days a week and 30 days a month if he has sufficient ability. However, no work should be done at constant speed, in which case he will get mentally and physically tired.

There's no way to gain profit everyday, most often times you'll lose over since it's proven in many situations that gambling isn't profitable when done in daily basis.
Same at casino house many rich and average individuals got bankrupt when they make gambling as way of stress buster. The mindset got reverse, because it leads them as slave of their possessions.

As you can see, doing a gambling in your daily life, it will leads you to addiction because you treat them as if it's your main job which is not supposed to be treat as our main income in the first place. Gambling daily doesn't have any certainty of winning because it' is all about how luck strikes you and if you're lucky enough, you will experience winning huge amount but not everyday because there's what we called "bad luck days".
By gambling on a daily basis, a gambler avoids his main job and considers gambling as important. At some point they start dreaming big about gambling which should not be accepted. If someone plans gambling as a means of earning money then he becomes addicted to gambling. In every society there are addicted gamblers who prioritize gambling over their main work. But they forget that gambling can never be a source of income. Especially those who gamble daily get addicted to gambling very quickly. If gambling is considered as a source of pleasure, it is better to pursue it entertaining rather than daily.

Yes, it means that more of them are controlled by gambling where they should be the ones who should control their gambling activities, and one of the reasons may be because they are unable to ignore the various temptations they see which are actually nothing more than temptations that will only trap them in unwanted situations, Because after all as you said that for the problem of the results at the end of the session it is all on the house, or that means only the casino decides and the players can only accept the situation, especially when they lose, because it has also been proven that if we are unable to accept defeat then we will get emotional and obviously these emotions are what trigger various actions that are more dangerous.

On the other hand, in my opinion, it does not matter even if for example they have a goal just to have fun with the idea of gambling every day but still it is included in the class of excessive actions, the logic is that everyone needs money to play while the results at the end of the session are always unknowable, meaning in my opinion it is very simple that the idea of gambling every day will only waste more time and money.

Just for instance the friend who tried to convince Op to try out daily gambling, he actually was tempted by the results of a known gambler within their environment who made it big through daily gambling. These are some challenges that they dare not to understand, their minds only gets clouded by the results of another player. Observing the write up closely you'd notice they never asked the gambler how far he's gone in losses. Daily gambling accumulates losses for every player. And nothing can be done about it. Luck is always by the corner, but it's not meant to be a daily activity before a gambler will get lucky.

Even during our leisure times we also make some profits, even more than those who have been playing since days back. Sure, it's a sign of excessive gambling in the sense that not everyone could get hold of controlling such actions. The way people think makes them make mistakes in gambling. Imagine the thoughts of Op's friend and how he tried to instigate same ideology on the Op. We have lots of players who convince their friends to join a wrong strategy which wouldn't yield them more profits in the long run.

It's true what you said, gambling every day is of course dangerous because finances will become a mess where the focus will only be used on gambling. while basic needs may be neglected, and in my opinion this does not only apply to one side, of course to all parties, rich or poor, this applies because even though they have a lot of money, of course it is not the right thing to do if they gamble every day. and indeed I don't see the need to bet every day because the reality is that what will happen will only cause us problems. betting every day is probably the same as inviting trouble on purpose, even though there is a chance to win but the thing that will dominate the most is that we lose a lot of money instead of making a lot of money.

with those who gamble every day in my opinion they are addicted to gambling, because they can't get through the day without gambling even for just one day, what do you think about those who gamble every day, are they addicted?
Apart from that, if they gamble every day, I think it will put too much pressure on their mental health, which if they can't accept it, they could go crazy or get stressed.

Can we compare daily gambling with collecting crypto from faucets and boxes on casino pages? Because I do collect those tiny rewards daily, but use them to gamble really rarely. In other words, I am in touch with gambling every day. Just in few clicks I am away from making a deposit or placing a bet. I can even allow myself to (never though about it before frankly) deposit $5 daily and gamble. However I have never done anything like that. Maybe you can say that I am walking on a thin ice, but I have been doing it for ages already.

if everything is still fine it doesn't matter, just to be on the safe side, because you yourself know about gambling which can attract everyone when it comes to wins or profits subconsciously it can attract everyone moreover of course everyone needs Money. Maybe what you are doing is quite vulnerable to addiction because it is related to gambling. As you said yourself, by practically walking on thin ice, of course there is a possibility that the ice will crack and make you drown in it, but with good control you can make everything fine.

Apart from that, I think maybe even those who already have a job and a salary are not advised to gamble by depositing a certain amount of money every day to gamble. For example, as you said by depositing $5 every day, it doesn't sound like much in terms of the amount, but the chance of addiction will be there and can make everything fall apart in a short period of time. I myself gamble once a week, only on weekends, and if I want to, that's because it's not guaranteed either. So in my opinion, no matter how good we are at gambling, it's better not to do it every day.

There are no negative impacts if he gambles responsibly and sets certain limits on his finances, but I am not sure whether a gambler who spends every day gambling can control himself well at all times.
When gambling, never test your luck if you don't want to experience consecutive losses, but just wait until luck comes by itself and gives us a win when betting because basically everyone has luck but no one can determine when it's time to be lucky.

There is the time and attention paid on top of the money.

The gambler could have been thinking about something else and using their skills to obtain more money.

So, it's not just what they pay in terms of money, they also invest time and attention.

Zero wrong with gambling every day but that would not include feeling forced to gamble or using up cash just for the sake of it.   Only do it if done properly and you are actually more involved then purely attempting luck.

If you are going to gamble everyday blindly without caring or looking what you are doing especially then it should be similarly matched by only spending throw away amounts of cash.

Dont expect to just randomly win through repetition, you have to pay some attention but I cant label just playing every day a negative it will depend on the details.

If your friend tells you to depend directly on your luck when it comes to gambling, then your friend is not giving you good advice at all. The outcome of gambling is not entirely dependent on luck rather the outcome of gambling is largely dependent on one's gambling skills. No matter how much money we gamble with, we will never succeed if we gamble in the wrong way depending on luck alone. Gambling is not mandatory that you have to play it every day. You can consider gambling as a game where you can continue playing as long as you want or you can play this game whenever you want when you feel like you can win the game. You must have done well by sharing this topic here, you will surely get good advice from here.
Skills and strategies are really needed in some games in gambling or sports betting, but you need to remember that luck also determines whether you will win or lose, but I don't force you to believe in luck, after all, gambling every day will not bring you victory, in fact it will. It will only waste your time, if you want to play for fun you don't have to gamble every day, but if you want to be serious about making money you can do it every day as long as you have enough budget, gambling every day is no problem.

Poor gamblers need to work every day to be able to pay for their living let alone finance their gambling, therefore gambling every day will not enable gamblers to be able to consistently manage their work and gambling time, sometimes gambling is also inconsistent because gamblers often steal work time to gamble, the point is to limit gambling time with work time so that there are no clashes, after all rich people's children may not need to work, they just have to gamble every day and spend all their parents' money, the point is that gambling means we have to know how to manage their time and be able to control it properly, if we talk about luck is a matter for later.
