Yes that's what i was planning to do.
It is difficult if you regret things that you should do or didnt do.
Prevent making mistakes so you wont regret anything.

You really should have cutlosses in every holding you have because the market is very volatile, which can give you the highest gains or highest losing trade in just few minutes, keeping your cutloss tight would give you high chance of winning a trade.

Escorting Meets The Sharing Economy
I could see that you are a Full Member already of this respected forum, however, I am a bit amazed on how you deal with your coins especially in this bearish time. I am certain that you are not that comfortable with losing your investment since you are considering to sell at 50% loss. I don't know your reasons for considering to sell your coins but I would definitely suggest that you HODL those coins and just keep in your bag. You don't want to regret later. Don't be emotional buddy.

Remember, you only lose money if you trade or sell.
It is really hard to see everything in the red, but realize that it only becomes real if you actually sell or trade it off.

When the market is down, there are basically two things you can do that will work out for you in the long run:
#1 Take a break from crypto.  Just don't check your portfolio, coinmarketcap, or anything.  Take the stress out of it by not even doing it.
If you are a long term holder, this is the best option.

#2 Buy more! Any way you look at it, 8k is a great price for btc and 800 is a great price for ethereum.
Especially if you consider that after market crashes, the value of coins tend to rise dramatically.

There is a third option: Make strategic trades to take advantage of panic sellers to maximise the amount of btc you have.
But that takes a lot of experience and research to be susccsessful.

You probably should if you are not confident to your holdings, but if you have done a lot of research im sure all your coins would be solid whether the market bleeds or having bloodbaths, just have faith in the technology behind it and you will achieve success.

I am sure that now there is no sense in selling coins. Drawdown is very deep and now you just need to wait until crypto spring begins. I think that the stable growth will begin in early March.

I will not sell in losses. The market is temporary down due to bad news and China New Year coming up in mid Feb 2018.
I will hold on to my coins till the market recover.
But it very nervous for many people((

I don't advice now to sell your coins and cut your losses as the market is at severe crash right now. Many have been decreased by double-digit percentage already including bitcoin. Simple advice, just hold your coins that you bought already and wait for the price of the coins to increase again. That is better than selling at a cut loss because if you only hold it you don't have a loss because anytime it can rise again but if you sold it at a lower price compare to the price you buy it then that is the time that you are loss. Just hold it don't let your emotions defeat you. Smiley

The thing is, when we first have the thought of investing in cryptocurrency, there should always a mindset that this kind of market, which one determinant of price fluctuations is law of demand and supply, you should be expecting losses and not at all times, profit or revenues. At this moment when I am on your shoes, I will not cut my losses. This event is normal because of a correction period and also it is february. One of the largest number of population which also has been an investorsbof cryptocurrencies, the Chinese People are to celebrate their New Year thus many are selling their coins to have something in the table in their event or celebration. Also February which is the year of the Hearts. Better be ready for price fluctuations. The thing is, before we invest, we should understand the market. Never to panic selling, these persons are unknowledgeable. Do not be one of them.

I would recommend to hold and wait.
There is good potential for your coins to rise and to pass your initial capital.
It takes patience but i believe it will pay off.

I have sold 80% of my crypto holdings. I think 90% of tokens will drop 90% the coming 6 months. I will buy more again when the market starts turning.
If you have fiat on your pocket a correction is an opportunity to make money again.

Two reasons for being bearish.
1. Stock markets are likely to fall this year. Have been hitting ATH for a while now. A financial 'crises' is overdue, perhaps 2019 and stock markets usually drop slowly 1 year before. More uncertain investments are sold first.
2. Previous valuation was totally crazy. Any little shit token could be valued at $200 mill , without working product or any profits. A regular $200 mill. company is a pretty large and successful company.

So I think prices will drop a lot during the coming year and for the large ones bounce back a bit. The big ones will be back at January prices in a year.

Don't think about what could have happened if you sold earlier, a profit is a profit. Just learn to next time to take more profits while everything is going well.

If you will sell your coin do you think you will be able to gain your loss? The answer is no, right? I suggest to hold first your coin because at this time of the year, the value of coins are really unstable. Normally the price will go up when the q4 of the year is approaching. You can check the history of the price of coins, the data is already there, all you need to do is research so that you will not regret your decision. But at the end of the day, it is still your decision mate. Just make sure that once you made the decision, you will not regret it.

hi guys right now im hodling ada, nem, xmr, waves, utrust, ast, xrb, vib

my initial capital was 4000 usd.
i am down 50%.

do you think it is better to cash out now and just invest it to a safer investment like Land or stocks
i have a 7x 580 and 1070ti mining and just rely on that to buy cryptos?

or do you think i should hodl

If you don't have urgent needs then just hold your coins. The coins you have has still a lot of potential and not like those sh*tcoins so better hold it and if possible you can buy more so that the buy price would go lower and if ever the price would rise again then you would have much bigger profit. If you can't take the losses anymore then maybe just invest it in other things like land or stocks as what you say. You can sell them if you want to but in time when bitcoin reverse and will have a bull run, alts will follow suit so you will miss some gains.

I think that now it is already unnecessary to sell anything. Now just wait. You could sell at a drawdown of 5-10%, so that you can re-buy now. And now only wait for prices to rise again.

Do not even start to think of selling, what you should actually be thinking of is buying because you will be abe to pick up alot of your existing coins at big discounts and bringing your cost average way down.

Right now is the worst moment to sell and since you've got quite a big loss already you should consider holding some more. It may take a month or more for the market to stabilize again since there's chinese new year coming as well but I think you would minimize your losses this way if not profit again if you are willing to hold the projects you believe in for the long term
Selling of the crypto coins at this very present moment will result in nothing good for you. Instead, it will only result in your disaster as you will lose the chance of making more money and you will only suffer loss by doing so.

You need not to do such kind of thing at this time and you need to keep your nerves under your control. Do not sell until and unless the market value of the bitcoin tends to increase.

Actually good enough to minimize more losses. But, can not you be more patient? at least for 2-3 months, maybe the value will go up.

Will, the decision is up to you, either you much hold more longer,or maybe this is the time now of selling all of your asset,to cut all your losses because of dumping the price value now of all altcoins,if im that in your position now, i would divided it to half all of my altcoins and  invest the other half  into land or stock as what you said while the other half of my capital i continue to roll it in trading investment, because my purpose whether those business would not success at least one of them i continue earned and cultivate profit.
