I think that the number of investors is decreasing and there are reasons for this. Firstly, the market is going through hard times, secondly there is a huge number of scam projects, thirdly, after listing on the exchange, the price of tokens is lower than the price that was on the ico.

Yes, there is a downward trend of investors in the ICO. People are afraid of losses. Since the market today is not good. All possible points of growth (Chinese new year, summit, etc.) have already passed and the course does not go up. Everyone is beginning to think that the previous growth in the market will be gone. I think so. There are fewer investors. Some projects do not give good tokens, and some ICO prices are much higher than when the stock exchange is listed. These reasons keep many investors out of the ICO.

It is because investors nowadays are smarter than before. They are now investing to prominent ICO's which can give them profits. Most of the ICOs failed and they only runaway with the investors investment or wasted their time. So now, they need to carefully check if the project they are going to invest is promising. Investors are always there, silently looking for a good project to invest with. They already learned they lessons, not all ICOs can stay in the competition.
If you do not invest in ICO and do not export the crypto currency into the cache, then your assets will decrease because of the declining market. This is an inevitable process with HOLD with the condition of simple storage of the crypto currency.

I think they are but also think that numbers in airdrops and getting into mining are decreasing. When the next bull run returns we will see a sharp increase in numbers again though. Far too many icos are scams.

I'm sure that now all investors are just waiting for the bull market. Then all good projects will enter the market, and investors will start investing. Now on the crypto market, very little good ICO`s and almost all of them do not reach the hard cap.
It sure looks like they are decreasing but I don't think so. Because there's a lot of factors that has made it look that way, like the market conditions where some icos get to trade below the ico prices when they list, it therefore isn't sensible to buy as you can easily buy cheaper on exchanges when they list.

Everything is possible. It turned out to be a kind of stick of two ends. Before all heavily invested, but the projects after they are released on ICO raining down. actually it doesn't stop, but investors just wait for the bears to come and the ICO project that doesn't reach the soft cap may be they don't promote their projects to investors. full member

Statistics say that number of investors are even increasing and more and more money is invested into ICOs! I do not understand that market is falling and investors are still interested in high risks investments

I think they are not decreasing, but they are more careful while selecting of the project. There are a lot of scams, so they try to filter out and to invest only in ideas with good future. I am personally investing also, but it takes a lot of time to select the idea. For filtering I use icoguide.com they have good rates, and not paid ones, but it is not enough, deep research is necessary.
i think yes, because many scam ico was appeared and did cheat many investor, so now many of them got affraid for participated on ico stage.
