My personal take on it is that Bitcoin may actually be harmed if the authorities catch up with Satoshi Nakamoto. I think we all saw the crap that Dorian Nakamoto had to go through when he got fingered as the creator of Bitcoin. They could conceivably wring all sorts of false "confessions" out of him if they are determined enough to discredit Bitcoin and Satoshi Nakamoto's reasoning behind creating Bitcoin.

If we do not find satoshi nakamoto means you will not try to access the bitcoin with the patent right. If any whales knows about the bitcoin inventor satoshi they will surely contact him to reserve the copyright and patent. Until the Satoshi does not revealed himself none of the people will have the bitcoin controlled by anyone. This is the only reason he is comes out to the on show.

It may be damaging to Nakamoto themselves, but to an ordinary user I doubt it would be.

It could certainly receive a lot of publicity and pop some bubbles in the BTC price, but I feel like a lot of BTC discussion media are so polarised in support of BTC that it would only strengthen their resolve.  It just depends whether you're a lay man or whether you take an active interest.

Regardless, I don't think that the media are out to get satoshi particularly.  There's no point in governments arresting them either, because satoshi can't control BTC or alter it.

As for me personally, an investor with a small capital - it does not matter who. However, for the government of countries that are against it because they do not earn money on taxes on the poor, it is important.

His Identity should not be revealed not because it may harm the price of bitcoin but for his personal security.
Imagine what some people are going to do to him or his family if they found out who he is. He will be surely forced to create btc for them.
