If they are scam projects and developers only want to collect money from their promises, white paper, and run, they will not continue developments in bear market.I think Metaverse will be another big trend in next years but I don't like it too much. Yes. IMO, I am giving it a chance. It's good to have a wide range of options for investment. Besides, we are the ones who will decide if it's a necessity or not, a good investment or not, and there's likely a good future for it. For OP, remember, Ethereum, BNB, and a lot of cryptocurrencies now did start from scratch. Actually, many did not believe and are now regretting it, that includes me. You may be dragged by the FUD that is being spread and realize soon it was too late to ride the boat.

Nobody can predict the future of Metaverse exactly but we can not deny the hype of Metaverse in the current market and most of the new projects are related to metaverse they all want to take benefit of the Metaverse name but we all know very few of the projects will be successful but personally, I did not invest in the metaverse coins. That might some of them have value and are needed by the community but the majority of them are just a clone and they will die soon. It wasn't wise to choose them for long-term investment as they are just held short-term. Hypes projects won't stay long, that was the reality and these metaverses are an example. If we aim to invest cryptos and hold for many years, we have to stay away from them as they are not worth that to hold, they are fit for short-term likely during the bull season.
Answer my question, what's the difference between metaverse and virtual reality that was invented since 1957? I mean both of them have same function/purpose, but why we need metaverse instead of virtual reality? this doesn't make sense. I'd say metaverse is just like a company who run virtual reality, which is doesn't needed. They're only want to take advantages for their business without create anything.
I will answer your question first that I think the metaverse must be successful in the future but it is not necessary that all projects will be successful. Now let's come to the real point, I will compare it with cryptocurrency, as if apart from cryptocurrency, the world is moving or was moving, but in the future there will be a time when the whole world will depend on cryptocurrency. So I can say that now that for thousands of years people have been doing transactions without Bitcoin currency, how can it be successful? I don't know about the Metaverse you are talking about, but for Virtual Reality (VR) people definitely need this kind of thing. It will be good for a simulation test, like flight simulation, complex surgery simulation, natural disaster contingency, .etc. But when most people say Metaverse what I have in mind is that roblox thing, and social media that use VR, and that's what most of crypto related metaverse product, and to be honest I don't think this kind of product will last.

for now probably many people who do not believe and ignore the metaverse.but the metaverse network has a good project and there's a pretty big community behind it.

It doesn't really matter if metaverse is needed or not, it's just a matter of what everyone in the crypto space needs, the pattern of someone using a particular service really depends on the usage needs.I mean this?
