I disagree with you. Maybe we may hit $20k again this year for btc but that will be temporary coz there's still a lot of issues concerning bitcoin though 2019 after proving the strength of bitcoin, people may invest again and money comes in. As for ethereum, we will be lucky if it hit $1k, I'm strong supporter of ethereum but with a lot of competition Vitalik needs to prove superiority of eth network to gain more investor and ofcourse eth along with all altcoin depend on value of btc so we may see some upsurge but not much. We still need to prove to people that cryptocurrency is here to stay and it's not a bubble before money comes in again.
After such a big drawdown the growth is inevitable. I can not say that we will conquer new heights but 12000$ per BTC is possible.
It is just an assumption that the truth cannot yet be ascertained but there is a possibility, and I don't really think about that all I did was see the market movements and learn from history. always possible, but all must be based on knowledge and logic.
In those years, bitcoin also had long failures in price, but Bitcoin came to life and aspired to new heights. Yes,I think this fall the market should come to life.

I also hope so that would be happen. Traders and holder really hope and wait for the price to goes up. Our strategy will be use this time in this kind of market. Buy low and sell high strategy. But if you want short term investment, you can sell you coins without profit and sometimes you didn't get your capital. So better hold until price is right. This market will start uptrend for sure in the right time. We just a need a strong confirmation so we can see a bull market again.
Let's hope that bitcoin will recover soon and will give our hope that bitcoin could soar high again to the moon. This crisis happen is just a temporary just keep holding on.
For me, it is good to wait for the time that the market will be green or be on rise. But it is better if we find a way to gain instead of lose some money or investment. It is better to do things that can benefit you while waiting and at the same time you can earn even there is some dip happening on the market.

IMHO I don't believe that market will begin to recover so soon. Personally I expect that Bitcoin will continue to fall and the market will follow it. So Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies will fall by the end of May 2019. I think that in June of 2019 will happen reversal. But the market and all cryptocurrencies will update their ATH only in 2020. What is your point about it?

The bear market so far has been nothing but heartbreaking and has caused fear and panic, that not withstanding, a whole lots of traders have made good profits from the current instability. We all are patiently waiting for a bull run but I think $25k and $5k for BTC and ETH respectively is too unrealistic for the end of 2018 target.. The market is currently not showing signs of a potential growth, we are experiencing more dips with every passing day. We might see a bullish market again but probably not as big as 2017.

I think the current situation will not be easy and return as in 2017, currently the market does not have a good chance of growth. there are many predictions about bitcoin will grow again in the near future, but I am pessimistic. I think the market will start to grow well in the middle of next year.
No, I think the market will still fall, it may fall below the eye, and it is not optimistic about the cryptocurrency in the near future because it was maliciously shorted by EIF.
