If you ask me, i used to addicted to gambling but stopped after suffer big losses even though i'm still in profit.
I don't think that I can count my self as a gambling addict. I occasionally gamble, and when I gamble I just gamble to have fun and to socialize with people. Gambling helped me relieve stress, but I don't really have any urge to gamble when I have nothing to do. And, I also think that gambling is created for entertainment.
You should be careful for that occasional gambling activity, because some people I heard of they make those activities became more successive and eventually being addicted to gambling lucky profits. I know it's one way of socializing, but you can make it just an occasional just to prove that you've been part of the social activities of other gamblers. If we have nothing to do, then we can start other fun activities like for our fitness activities for health purposes, engaging athletic sport or some sort of family bonding. There's a lot more to divert all those activities in order to prevent of being addicted with gambling.
