Yeah, it might look that bounty hunters are increasing but the case is there are fewer bounty campaigns now and because of this, bounty hunters are crowding the same campaigns. Also, It would be impossible for newcomers to participate in campaigns because of the new merit system implemented by the administrator last 2018. The case is fewer and fewer bounty campaigns are being released each month and most of it, always turns out to be scams.

Yes, everyday there are many people who register in the forum to join on airdrops and bounties. Because of the pandemic people will try to look for extra income even they are on thier home.

I don't think there are more Bounty hunters than before. Most especially that many projects end up as scams while some refuse to pay. This has frustrated many hunters and discouraged them from doing bounties which consume time and resources.

I am not talking about the merit required/earned to join in the signature campaings.Merit requirement is basic need for a newbie to rank up now so anyone who may start their bitcointalk career in 2020 due to bullish market trend may not be able to rank up which will result in less people than in 2017 or earleir. I believe for those who came is an old user who just leave this forum long time ago and they came back again. For old user they will directly choose some bounty campaign because they are already know the rule and some step that should take.

Personally maybe not very significant. only increased from old hunters returning from rest.
Based on account ownership, the cheater hunters increased their account numbers because they spent more time working at home.

Since there are no more high paying bounties as well the campaign keeps on extending their campaign without guarantee of paying after 2017 ATH that leads to many scam projects and unfulfilled payment for bounty hunters, many left here in forum. Even this Pandemic I don't think they can return here due to merit system that will be required in some real paying campaigns. It's indeed harder to earn now thru bounties but still its a extra income we should not miss as only few have knowledge about this job.

The last quarter of 2017 and 2018 is the fix season where many people are participating in bounties. This year it can possibly increase because many want to earn extra cash but to be honest if they don't know this forum then there is no way they will accidentally find it unless someone teach them about crypto and directed them to forum to get more data or ideas they need.

i think it's yes just like what you've said many people doesn't have jobs or limited only even though most of the projects in my opinion is not profitable they will take risk in participating to bounty campaigns just to sustain their living well it's kinda sad since not all bounty campaigns are fair for the participants some of them are just running away leaving bounty hunters without reward.

Very commonly, if you have a family then you will needed more money for alive. Everything we need foods and at the same time more costly where money is needed. Jobs at the moment say a lot of people are now working in crypto from here they are trying to meet the daily financial crisis. Bounty is a good way where we can earn some money with free so very common for increase hunter at this time.

I quite agreed about the bounty can be an alternative way for people who didn't have money to get a few pennies to start the trade but there's not data that can explain the growth of the hunters. As far as i can see if there's not a lot of growth happened. If you were seeing the spreadsheet and some campaigns accepted the hunters from another forum like altcoinstalks too.There's a lot of members in here have the accounts in such forum too and that means they were running by the same person.
I think that more hunters are coming but it's not so much as people said.

I have read some posts recently about their friends or family members comes back in crypto because of pandemic and because of increasing bounties opened so i think the answer is yes.Do you think we have more bounty workers now that people are on lockdown or do not have a job yet because of the pandemic?
there are more bounty hunters coming from the past when the ICO becomes rampant in scamming but now there is this DEFI thing many of them are risking again to join and make money.
and with this many signature now are being worn in spreading each sections of Bitcointalk.org.

Yes, I think,although it’s still close to as it used to be. I’d say that you’re not wrong, that’s if what we are talking about is online jobs in general; there are lots of people these days that are looking for online jobs, because they don’t have other job to do. Bounty campaigns might not come to their mind because it’s not everyone that knows about this forum. They’d first have to get to know about Bitcoin and with time they will discover this forum before knowing about campaigns to earn money. And another reason bounties might not be an option for them to consider yet is because it takes time to build your account in the forum before you start participating and not everyone can have that patience.

Well it is not as if there is a data to determine this but from the overview of happenings since the pandemic it could be a possibility since many people have lost their job as a result and many people also have lots of free time on their hand because they can't go out to work so working online now seem like a better idea and doing bounty hunting seem like the perfect opportunity.
