I think that there can really be no true gambling expert as it involveds a lot of luck but also some skill to be sure. But it all boold sown to experience and we can have countless tries at a game and get so experienced with it that we can have pur own ways with it.

Exactly , I prefer to remain and be called a gambler than being tagged an expert because you need some level of luck and perfection to be called a gambling expert. I have gambled for more than two years and I still keep learning from each beg I play everyday and so the learning curve isn't that short for one to simply come to the end of all gambling knowledge to be called a gambling expert.

In that case, yes unfortunately I am very proud of my self being a winner of big amount is already luck for me. Ofcourse I consider that I am expert that day. Bht not all day I always win the game. So, I don't think that I am already expert everyday just because I win once.

Being an expert comes with years of experience and successful gambles and so I'm not an expert yet by my standards because I haven't gambled for more than two years and not won handsomely yet. If you win a big amount one day you can be proud of yourself and perhaps tag yourself an expert but I'm not there yet.

Those lucky people are the only one we should call experts, because they manage to find out that they sre lucky on gambling that is why they are making money out of it. The only thing that will happen to you when you are going to think that you are lucky on gambling is losing, you are going to lose most of the time having the wrong thought.

Even in sports betting or poker games it's not guaranteed a 100% win for you even if you're an expert. For me it's all about luck. So that's why I never gambled consistently.

You are right in general, but there's one exception to this rule: it's poker. Yes, a lot depends on luck in a poker game too, but it's a known fact that some players do it much better than others. Otherwise we wouldn't have the best poker players like Daniel Negreanu, Patrik Antonius, Phil Ivey, Antonio Esfandiari, Tom Dwan and others. Those players are experts in poker, and that's undeniable.

Yup ---> it's undeniable. But, than you have players like Isildur1 who come onto the scene and shake things up. Poker's one of those mixed games of skill and chance where money management skills are absolutely crucial to maintaining a long range positive ROI.

Every time when I win in a big row I think that I am an expert. And then I lose let's say three in a row and I think that I don't know nothing. And it's happening all the time on that same way.
That situations I experience when I play poker and sport book betting.

exactly we cant say when to be lucky so even there's a lots of times that you will be able to win you cant still say that you already an expert
as you cant control what tomorrow will bring after to play the same game again.

. Luck does not come often if it really exist. So this mean you will lose a lot more than winning a stake. With experience you are able to nullify negative effect of losing in gambling. You can have control over your bankroll and stash. You can even take advantage of a winning streak and you can avoid more loses when you are on a losing streak. Experts knows this and aside from that there are more things they know than us newbies who just think gambling is all luck.

I'm just pleased to sometimes win and feel like a winner, that I get a little bit of a win, but I do not feel like an expert. I think that in gambling you can not be an expert because everything depends on luck.

Of course i don't feel like "expert" Cheesy

I used to play a lot, now i play less, so i had moments what i won a lot, but i still can't call myself an expert, even if i won a lot in poker - as it is all about luck, and i can't control it, how can someone be expert in something that requires you to be lucky in order to win?

Poker is not all about luck. It does involve fate to some extent but it is the only casino game that can be won by using certain strategies. Poker players are hell of bluffers and the better you are at bluffing, the more you have chances of winning. Dice, slot and roulette are totally luck dependent.

Winning and losing is part of the game. Nobody is an expert because of a big win. But if you can win more in the long-term than you lose consistently, that's a different story...

First my gambling experience was with dice. I played dice more than a year but I never thought I'm an expert in the game because I knew back then and I know now that there can't be an expert in dice game. Some time later I started to play poker, NL Holdem to be more exact. And after I've noticed that I took places in the top 10 in tournaments with 500-700 participants quite often I started to think that maybe I'm an expert in the game. Of course I don't always win, but I think I play on level above the average, that's for sure.

We can trust only those who will provide the proof for making money in gambling. This most of the people will not provide so we just listen to their stories. But you are right there are some experts in gambling they can make a profit every day, and they will come in front of everyone and also they won't share any strategies because it is a loss for them. To identify who is expert and who is not is difficult.

If they will provide proof still we don't know if they are the owner of those proofs. Still if someone boasts and says that he's an expert with proofs I will not believe on him.

I just admire those legit experts, they are just passing by in the casino's without others noticing that they are taking home big bucks.

I don't think that I'll become an expert one day.

If they are making a profit every day, then I would have to question whether, or not, they were an expert or actually just a cheater. I don't think that there are too many experts who're turning a profit every single day. However, if they are really good then they probably adhere to a strict bankroll management system that mitigates the losses they will, inevitably, encounter due to deviations in variance---> if they do that, then I would say that they are exhibiting some expertise and can probably expect an overall positive ROI.
