It's not easy to use crypto for its functionality, because crypto is not legal yet. It's the reason why many people here are just using crypto to do an investment and I think there is nothing wrong for it as long as we don't break the rules.

The problem is, that there are too few crypto projects, that already released their product. 50 percent of top 100 crypto currencies do not have a working product. I always use ETH for payments within the community, but this is it. We need more working products!

I use it for both its functionality and both the fact that I can make a lot of money from it. There is so much that can be done with the coins, when it comes to transactions and the fact that they are the fastest currencies out there. i use it for their functionality and also because of their technology that is revolutionary, that si some of the reasons.

in fact, the cryptocurrency is in the beginning phase. Of course, I want to a real function in the real world. But the industry is not about exchange or the price. The token or coin has a function itself. Starbuck has already accepted Ethereum as a payment that's nice to hear.

I know nobody who uses crypto for it's functionality , almost all people use them just in the exchanges!!!!

of course at this time this has not really happened, especially for altcoins that have products as functional. however, currently there are many ico projects that are currently running in the next stage as what is happening now Q4 runs this can make the market grow again. of course there is a function that can run but takes time

I don't justify what you say, but that's what really happened. currently crypto has become a business and can be said to be a valuable asset. and about the functional is the effect of the benefits that we can use in terms of transactions or innovations. this only talks about the time until the day really runs according to its function.

In fact I use cryptocurrencies only for investment. I think in near future people will use crypto full function. But now most of them use it for 10x.

I use some of the top ones, like BTC, ETH and used BCH several times, but as for less popular altcoins - didn't have a chance. I think you do have a point here, people became so obsessed with investing in ICOs with just one purpose -making money, that they never even thought of actually using them. On the other hand, it can be understandable, due to the fact that lots of ICOs projects
are so complicated and they aren't integrated in people's lifes enough for regular usage yet.

I actually use cryptocurrency because it is much cheaper than receiving paypal for the services I offer. Currently Paypal charge a 3.4% (+ £0.020) fee I believe on all incoming payments. Cryptocurrency payments have a much lower fee, typically under 1% for the transaction fee. However, if Paypal reduced their fees to match, I would probably switch back since it's a lot easier to handle and track.

You know the global popularity and awareness of cryptocurrency is still low presently and there are too many altcoins already. So many of them are only based on speculations for now. But I know that as time goes on, real life usage will increase significantly. Though bitcoin and ethereum are being used for online shopping nowadays.

The only crypto currency that I tried to use for its functionality is Datecoin, with which we can now pay some options in the application of the dating service Denim. And there are no more examples.

You probably haven't used decentralized sites that pay in their Cryptocurrencies. You should try:

- Decentralized Blogging sites like Steemit, Busy, Bitcoin Unicorn.

- Decentralized Messagers like Status, Obsidian Secure Messenger

- Decentralized Video Sites like LBRY, BitTube, PROPSProject,

- Decentralized Social Media like Zappa (Steem Powered), Steepshot (Steem Powered), DecenTwitter (EOS Powered), Sola, Memocash, Ong.social, Synereo, MeWe

- Decentralized Sound Platform like DSound

I think a very small number of people in this forum will answer you positively, the majority here use crypto only for the sake of earning. My opinion is that crypto technology is ahead of its time and at the moment few people understand its significance.

Basically, most people use crypto currency only for trading on exchanges. But there are a lot of crypto-currencies and the scope of their application is also different, many people use tokens to pay for some purchases on the Internet, on various sites where they accept a certain token for certain services, in some countries you can buy real estate for crypto currency

I can agree to that, for the main time in my side of the world I don't think any utility company accepts crypto as means of payment not even Bitcoin. While this might happen in some few years to come when the blockchain technology must have been well adopted by many here, then we might see that form of crypto acceptance as a means of payment other than just the exchange trading we besically use it for now in my county.
