It all depends on the rules of the casino site which you visit. There are sites that you can't track but they see that you use TOR and will not give you the opportunity to register an account. If a site uses to bind to account your IP address then you will also be a problem when using TOR. You need to check and only then pay a small sum to the balance.

I do every now and then when I'm handling sensitive content. I prefer VPNs though. Tor can get ridiculously slow sometimes.

I feel you, only those who has the guts to go beyond the surface (search engine) filtered and into the deep web with much safety precautions must be allowed. It is something we and I should discourage on accessing by our children and those teenagers who have small knowledge on .onion sites.

Tor is not really a bad thing that is for sure, but on how or where you used it is a different stories. If in accessing it is just for learning purposes or experience it’s much better but if and only reason your visiting there is to make illegal transactions is on your own risk alone.

I know that NBI and Cyber crime division is monitoring that sites after the Silkroad controversy and I think it was shutdown. But correct me if I’m wrong, haven’t been there for years now and no plan to be back.

yeah i have to use tor browser for my personal work. it is more secure compare to other browsers. in this we have to transfer bit coins easily. tor can help for keeping our money more secure. any one can't hack this browser. for that reason in the world most of the people prefer for tor browser.

I had use it once but because I was not even getting the benefit of it. It was because I wanted to access a site to benefit from it but I couldnt eventually. TOR has been so efficient in keeping identity anonymous and because gambling is not illegal in my country of residence, I really dont have the need to continue its use.

Avoiding movement being traced as a result of using btc will mean more to what using BTC for just normal purposes. Over here there is no law to say you cant use BTC and for that, I dont see anyone tracking my activities. I dont commit fraud neither do I engage in hacking activities.

Tor does not make you completely invisible. If your country banned the use of bitcoin then you will find. But sometimes it so happens that to find a person more than not to search at all. I think that person is easier to find then when it changes bitcoin for Fiat. Banks keep track of such operations and can pass this information to the competent authorities. In our time it is impossible to be completely anonymous.

Yes, I'm using TOR. Right now I'm abroad for an indefinite period and I don't want my identity to be exposed. I also use ProtonMail for maximum security. I'm not interested in DarkWeb and DeepWeb so I don't browse them. TOR for me is a tool which allows me to be anonymous on the Internet. I think I'm going to run a node in the future. What do you think about hosting one on OVH dedicated server?

Its been a while since ive taken a dive on Tor. for one, its slow as fuck for me usually, im on a metered connection that sucks and tor struggles at best. but mainly, there is nothing of substance on tor. not really into child porn or dark markets, and thats pretty much the whole of it, from my experience. its pretty much poison because people dont use that hidden space to share esoteric knowledge; they use it to persue corruption and mammon. we get another library of alexandria, and we use it to sell pot for digital currency

That's what we are as people. You probably know that porn is the most viewed and searched thing in the Internet. It has always been this way.
There's so much knowledge in the web that you could spend your whole life reading and learning, but people prefer to spend their time watching stupid pics on 9gag and jacking off.
As for TOR, if you aren't paranoid about your security and don't want to buy drugs or guns, you don't need it. VPN should be enough.

I think you probably heard wrong. Tor onion routing was developed in the mid-1990s by the United States Naval Research Laboratory.
