I very rarely use bitcoin to buy something, mostly bitcoin I use for trading in the market, but for now I hold my bitcoin, because at this moment bitcoin the price is rising very high and I wait for the best time to sell it
- I am similar to you, I also rarely use my bitcoin to buy something, except for the emergency and really needed, if not, I will not carry my bitcoin out to use because I always have many reasons to believe that the price of bitcoin will be higher in the future, spending right now is a waste and giving us regret in the future. Mostly I only use my bitcoin to trade, this is where there are many opportunities to get us more bitcoin, although the risk is high, but the profit it brings is not small, however safety is above all, I also just used the part to trade, the rest I saved in my wallet

same here. I am also holding, not using at the moment. maximum I do is sometimes I do day trading to earn more bitcoin. I wouldn't like to spend any of my btc at the moment as it will be growing very fast.

Personally, I only trade and old Bitcoin, I haven't yet used them, but that is not to say I will not do so in the future under the correct circumstances.

I use my bitcoins occasionally when I feel like I needed some budget to continue for a week, I dont to sell my bitcoin in a single trade because bitcoin itself is my investment and I don't want to lose my investment for the reason I am out of budget , as long as their an opportunity to Hold bitcoins I will never sell all of my bitcoins because I can expect that the price can go as high as 100,000 usd in just a few years.

I'm not yet using BTC as a method of payment. I have BTC just for investing purposes for now...
I do believe in the near future the BTC environment will evolve well and spending BTC to buy all sorts of daily goods will be possible more easily!

In Europe not many shops accept BTC yet, specially the physical shops.

mmmm for some reason i can't trust the result of this pool. More or less 75% of voters use btc? With a price that seems go higher and higher? with this huge fork arriving?
mmm i don't think so..

As everyone knows one of the major problems with Bitcoin economy is hoarding. The idea of this poll is to find out whether the lack of spending in the BTC economy is mainly due to the lack of acceptance of Bitcoin payments, or is it that people can actually buy a good deal of stuff that they need with BTC but choose not to.

we will use it in some time so that i use it i sell it and buy using bitcoin but less than 30%

I spend my Bitcoins whenever I see something I like and can afford, I wish it was not like that though. I have spent a small amount of Bitcoins (about 50 euros), but that was when the price was 400 $. I wish I waited for the price to go up and spend it then. I guess it is too late but I am certainly not a big holder and I really can't save I kind of have to spend it.

I try not to spend my bitcoins. I use them only for paying electricity bill. As far as I remember I haven't bought anything beside Antminers with my BTC. I'm thinking about ordering a few Trezor T. I believe that the value of Bitcoin will continue to increase rapidly. We will probably see $10k by the end of the year. I wouldn't be surprised if the price was even higher.

I dont use my bitcoin directly because there are only a few shops where I can spend it for the things that I want to buy. I exchange my bitcoins into cash and spend it for eveything I want. People have to use bitcoin more to buy things online but there are no shops to buy what you want and those who accept bitcoin have a pretty big fee.

The answer is yes. I am using bitcoin to sell business online. I also use my bitcoin for tuition. I hope to have more bitcoin.
I used to use my bitcoins a lot mainly for business transactions but as of two months ago, I have stopped doing that just because the money that am supposed to earn with the business is actually not enough compared to the amount I will gain by just holding unto bitcoins.

In some areas like mine where majority of business properties doesnt accept bitcoin as payment. We usually exchange Btc into fiat money for us to buy something. Thats why I dont spend btc , I exchange it. But if we can use btc as payments here in our country, why not?

I was wondering what crypto do you see getting used by the masses for buying/selling stuff? It obviously won't be btc, since the current fees are 70 dollars per transaction. But what else? Crypto with a very low price? LTC? Something that hasn't been developped yet?

I'd spend more if I could. Unfortunately I'm in the UK which seems to have about as much BTC acceptance as Lesotho.
I never spend my bitcoin in nonsense thing. I prefer to keep it or hold my bitcoin than to spend it because I know holding of bitcoin will help me to gain more income and money. In addition to that, I usually hold my bitcoin because it is the best way to earn much income.

I've not spent any coins yet other than a little on gambling. I broke even then quit.

Yesterday I made small donations to Wikimedia and Mozilla. I'll do this on a monthly basis.  In the past, I've spent extravagantly on Dell, Overstock, Newegg and Expedia - but there are only so many things you can buy from those places.

I imagine there's quite a lot I could buy from those companies mentioned. If I only I had the sort of coins I'm imaging you have  Cheesy.
Yes of course I use bitcoin in my daily life and believe me I’m really enjoying it and its very easy in use in my country here where I want I can use it and now I’m also going to pay all my bills through bitcoin so bitcoin is not only for use but you can use it in investment and for daily trade also so bitcoin have a lot of advantages.
