Not all of them, first of all I bet on NBA a lot and they are aired on times I sleep so most of the time when I bet on NBA games I watch the highlights next day when I wake up so I do not really know the results during the game but when I wake up and check the bet slip.
Moreover, sometimes I bet on soccer and when I bet on it and its a good game I do watch it, not all of them and sometimes some of them collide together so I can't watch them at the same time so I pick the most entertaining looking one.

The answer to your question is; you cannot be a good gambler if you don't know your team capability on the pitch of play. I always watch so I will know if I gain or lose money, I want to satisfy my excitement immediately so I want to know if I win or lose, although there is an advantage for not watching the game you place a bet, because it saves you anxiety and depression seeing you are losing bet, but of course you also lose the excitement when you are winning.
In my opinion watching matches can help to get know the teams better, and thus to better decide on the future bets. Depend on matches schedule time that if it's live in the midnight or near to morning then usually i was sleep because i have to go to work in the morning and only see my bets results through my sportbooks account but indeed sometimes when i bets for my favourite teams then i will take the risk not sleep all night long if my favourite teams playing

Watching games, nit only live sport games but also if there are any available streaming on poker or any other games can increase also your experience by just watching it. With this you can make new strategies and can observe glitches that can make your moves more profitable. You can also get used to it a bit faster.

I think watching matches in a gambling game is cool especially if players used to bet high price of money. But in sports game i am really watching, so i could really see who will be the winner and if i won the bet.There's no fun if you don't know what happens during the game. It's like you are just basing on the numbers/odds that you are doing, no basis. Maybe if you know the games, then you could analyze it, but it's no fun. It's fun to watch the games especially if you love the game. It should be awesome.
If you have good glimpse of the game, betting on it and watch will add entertainment to you as you are expecting a good outcome since you have a good knowledge regarding to the match, most of the time betting with your favorite team and bet for them adds delight while waiting for the end results.

So, in this situation, you did not gamble in betting sports as what had OP said. It has a sense if you watch the match event on the TV showed live and at least you will know what is the reason behind that the opponent get lose if ever. However, we have different like and dislike maybe others will not and some are likes. But I can't wait how thrill is going on.
