If you see a BTC trend then holding is better. But everyone has their own opinion.
If I choose three options divide between BTC, USD and altcoins. I use this for backup because it could be wrong predictions for what I have.
Several times I have sold some of my BTC out of necessity. Otherwise I will store and multiply BTC.

I am not selling firstly at lesser price, secondly since I am a long term investor so such falls does not shakes me actually. As well, if have some funds or can manage to save anything extra for that month then during dips I invest more in bitcoin as it will always have a good bounce back in future.

If we are talking about the probabilities of Bitcoin price, I personally still believe that the BTC price will be still increasing. There will not be a certain condition where the price of BTC will be down, today is still in a bullish season although the bear trap is ongoing. I believe that BTC price can really rise up again
the belief that you have is the same as what I thought, because if you look at bitcoin at this time in a situation it is quite stable for a while. indicates that bitcoin does not want to make corrections again but will look for momentum to get back up. we know that the period of improvement is still there and visible but indeed the time is not right yet waiting for that time. remember the end of the year where bitcoin will increase is still quite long so we will see in Q3 if there is a change in the price of bitcoin, from there we can see at the end of the year.

right bitcoin will continue to increase, if not in the near future, I think later it will also form a new ath again. all it takes is patience, so this time I'm not selling bitcoin because I think I got the best price I think this time. I bought in the range of $29k, which I think has the potential to earn more profit

Indeed Bitcoin rose quite quickly from the previous price of $ 29k, now it is at a price of $ 34k. And you are lucky to buy Bitcoin at a price of $ 29k,
because now Bitcoin has gone up and if you sell it you will get a profit in a short time. But your decision is right, by not selling Bitcoin at the current
price. If we look at the movement of Bitcoin, it looks like Bitcoin will indeed go higher. We have to remember that patience will give us bigger profits,
so I agree for now it is better to hold Bitcoin than to sell it.

For almost a full day I pay attention to the price of bitcoin and still survive around the price of $33000. I don't see that there will be a significant change to go up. Will you still survive the market conditions like this? Confusing.
I get you, sometimes it will look like the price is not having any form of movement but this is not confusing especially when we know it is a weekend market. I believe for now I really wouldn't want to sell any Bitcoin I have but will rather buy more and continue to hodl because I believe we are still going to see a price rise even though it might not be immediate. No confusion, this is how the market works all of the time.
Bitcoin is one of the best valuable crypto in the cryptocurrency market. Because we can see that it's price is very prefer than others coin.We also see that bitcoin price is increasing day by day.If we follow the behind we can see that bitcoin price is gradually increasing day by day.So i think that if we hold bitcoin,I believed that gradually it's price will increase in future. So I believed that if we hold bitcoin we can get profit must.

What's confusing about it?
You have been here in the forum since 2014 and you're still asking if people will survive the market condition?
Most of us had seen worst but still chose to stay so why wouldn't we survive now?

I will like to believe you are not New to this cryptocurrency market and if the price of Bitcoin has been trading in a parallel channel for some time, there's nothing confusing about that. It is more of an accumulation phase and it could go either way afterwards, up or down. Sometimes investors take advantage of situations like this hoping that the price will go up from a long time of trading in between a range of prices but to me, if you have Bitcoin, this is not the time to sell if you have not sold before all this dip to buy back now, but HODL.

Looks like everyone will choose to hold it and there is only a slight increase after the decline what else for those who own or buy above the current price will definitely keep it as long as it hasn't gone up long before having it.
and if you really need it and there is no other solution, there's nothing wrong with making a sale with the excuse that you only sell what you need and hold the rest, because bitcoin can be used as a reserve fund when there is a problem that really has no solution.
it all depends on the situation even though HODL is the right choice for now but you will not let the financial problems you experience stress you and do as needed.

The right time to hold on rather than sell bitcoin If you sell now if the price goes up, you will regret it. Now I am not thinking of selling bitcoin because if the market goes down it will go up If you analyze the market charts bitcoin is likely to rise I see bitcoin's position is much better and if the price goes up without selling at such a low profit, the profit will be doubled. For now the best way is to hold on without selling.

I've sold my bitcoins in total at $58k, I feel grateful for not holding them for too long, now I see bitcoin down 50% below that, I'm waiting for a good moment to get back into bitcoin, but there's no signal for that yet.

maybe for now choosing to maintain is still the best way when the bitcoin price is still unstable and has not reached the price point that we want, if indeed the price is according to what we want then we also no longer maintain it, because every people will also look for a little profit in terms of investment, but we are also still considering this for now and don't think about selling it in a short time

For me, myself, holding still becomes the best way I can do right now because it still doesn't reach the target.
And if we don't need the money immediately, I will prefer to hold them more in order to get the price expected.
We made a plan and we are doing the plans. As long as we are okay with that risk, I personally have no plan to sell my BTC at this time.
So what is your expected price, the market already touched an all time high valuation a few months back and i guess you are holding for the market to touch one hundred thousand and so does many other in the market but i doubt whether the market would touch those in this bull run, but still i am also expecting one more bull run before the major correction and i am waiting for that so that i will book my profit and wait for the correction.

No i will not sell but survive.
Down big time, but still holding.
If I had to do it over again (which I will) I’d get in way earlier, like the real bear market. And I’d also take profits on the way up and reinvest on the BIG dips, not the little wicks down.

Bitcoin have already crossed 34,000$ and it may continue to go up. If you are in for long term then you should not sell your bitcoin at prices between 30-40K. Bitcoin has been accumulating for 2 months now and we will see another all time high very soon. I feel pity for those who thought 33,000$ is the peak and they sell with the hope to buy back at 30K. Too risky approach.

If I need money immediately, I will definitely sell it, but if I don't need money immediately, or if there is an urgent need, I will never sell my bitcoins, because if I sell them now, I definitely won't be able to buy them again
You will be able to buy them again you are thinking about it to narrowly you do not need to own a lot of Bitcoin to profit on the price going up even owning 0.1 Bitcoin will probably put you in the richlist in 10 years time. I would say do not sell your Bitcoin ever but if there are urgent needs then that is more important than profiting in the future.
It doesn't matter to me if he can hold his bitcoins while his primary and secondary needs are met. What is clear is never lose . But I'm also the same if I have bitcoins that I bought at a low price, maybe I'll continue to keep them...because to buy at that price again with the same amount it will take a long time.
Never lose? That is not right and you are promoting investing with no risk when the meaning of investing is there will always be a risk. You cannot just say Bitcoin is a no risk investment that is stupid. I think Bitcoin will be worth over 100k but that does not mean it is a fact and me saying that its going to be over 100k risk free would be bad advice be careful what you are giving advice for.

I see no meaning in selling right now. After the big dump we witnessed, Bitcoin price didn't change too much. It's $33.7k now and it's on the rise again. Maybe people who bought at $29k can think of selling now but I don't know. If you aren't a short-term investor, I think it's better to wait for the price to reach a new ATH at least. Or one should set a price goal to sell when it's reached.
Well said but we should be aware of a strong resistance at $34500+ price may break or retrace at that zone thus as you rightly said buyers at $29K should consider taking some profits now while hodlers who bought above that price mark have no choice than to keep hodling good to hear some good news from Elon Musk reconsidering bitcoin for Tesla might be the main reason for the recent price turnaround and pumpimg hopefully it is sustained till another resistance at $41K which is another turning point of the price meanwhile the price had successfully moved above 100 moving average on 4hour BTC/USD time frame from technical analysis point of view the price is gradually returning to bullish after a long season of bears precisely since middle of May this year.

it has a chance in my opinion because its been months now since bitcoin collapsed from 60k to 30k and infact it keeps holding that level as well from the beginning and even there's a couple of negative news that occurred after, it didn't even fluctuate below 30k, so for sure those percentage that we see in the market is the real sign that there's no chance for bitcoin to go down anymore.. Imagine 4% up as of today this is a new performance actually since the hard decline, if i were you keep hodling instead.  Wink
