I do not actually know what the process of the wallet that we use here in the phillipines, but with the wallet that we use ,we are able to deposit money to our bank account directly using bitcoin. I myself use these to encash the earnings that I aquire in bounties and tradings.

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

I think one of the functions of the bank is to control the distribution of currency. Maybe they will not accept Bitcoin. If banks were to use blockchain technology, they would probably make their own coins that they could control.

I think blockchain technology goes against the concept of a bank. I even believe Bitcoin does not need a bank. If we can make our own wallet why do we keep Bitcoin in the bank?

Yes here in our country I have heared that there are two to three banks accept bitcoin and exchanged with fiat money and bitcoin, so I think that in the near future the banks will be adopting bitcoin in their banks.

I do not know but here in the philippines bank could accept payment for bitcoin purchase after a third party will madr an order and the payment process that are affiliated to them. Coins.ph are partner with banks and even other money transfer online. They will just make you an order then pay at the banks. You can also choose to cash in your money and you will decide what to do with your cash. You can either convert it to bitcoin por ether. However, i think there were no banks that could accept bitcoin directly. But there are ICO projects now that accept crypto to fiat money and fiat money to crypto so need for the bank transactions. So we have to wait for that to happen.

In order for a bank to start accepting bitcoin, there has to be an agreement reached. Perhaps a third party bitcoin provider but this would surely have additional costs attached to it. And right now, there is really no need for bitcoin to be accepted in banks because bitcoin can serve that purpose already. I also doubt if bank tellers know anything much about bitcoin as they sometimes are not even familiar with their own services.

banks should not do bitcoin transactions, because with the service they have been doing so far classified as a lot of transactions, because bitcoin transactions require handling very different from like a general bank. may even need to learn more carefully and transactions that occur are also very high risk.
if possible, it may be possible but better stand alone and not join the tub in general.

In india no one bank can accept bitcoin because in india it is not a legal but nor illegal. But no one can accept bitcoin.

Most probably for those countries that btc is illegal, they wont accept it because of the rules behind it.  But,for now, i never heard any bank that already accept bitcoin.

Be patient, and we will soon see all banks accept bitcoin, if bitcoin users continue to increase and can not be stopped the way to continue to survive for banks is to receive bitcoin.

I don’t think so because if there’s a bank who accept bitcoin there a possibility that they can’t handle it.Bitcoin has no definite value so that all bank can approved it. As of now there’s no bank who accept bitcoin as deposit. But, i think in the coming future they will be a bank that can accept bitcoin as deposit of their client or costumer.

many bank nowadays accept cryptocurrency. Besides if you want to cash out your earnings you will get the money in the bank. Blockchain is a good way to communicate because aside of its privacy it is also used in transacking a money  without the approval of many. Bitcoin might close the banks but they could not stop it.

The main purpose of bitcoin is decentralization and i think that people who have bitcoin arent working with banks and banks arent working with those people.

There is no bank accept Bitcoin and i guess it will never happen, especially to the fact that demand for crypto at the moment is falling
Anyway it will not serve them
I do not think so, I think that sooner or later this will happen because we should know that bitcoin also gives the bank some certain benefits, providing more conditions for banks to develop services in the future, if they are not afraid of the government, they have accepted the bitcoin. But this problem will soon be resolved when some countries have gradually started accepting bitcoin, if this situation continues well over time, the bank will officially accept the bitcoin and have the support from the government.

at this time I have not found a bank embraced bitcoin, but I once found a bank employee who studied bitcoin personally and not shelter at the bank where he works.
and since then I realize bitcoin will never be hugged by the bank, because if it happens then the bank will lose its function.

I doubt any financial institution will generally receive bitcoin directly, some may accept fiat accounts for bitcoin and merchant exchanges, but I doubt anything more than that, I doubt the bank can accept anonymous currencies like bitcoins.
