Sometimes I find myself being added to Telegram groups where they are doing bounty campaigns for new coins but at the end of the day, people will start complaining that the project is dead. In most cases I exited from the groups immediately I find myself there because I feel they are prone to defrauding people.
This makes me to wonder if bounties really pay.
There might be some bounty that still pays and it could be the reason why there are still some bounty hunters till this day otherwise people would just ignore all of those bounty projects.
I still see so many bounty participants so I think that there are some projects that are still paying even if the chance are low.

In your case, not uncommon to hear about scams in the cryptocurrency world, especially when it comes to new projects. I think it's always a good idea to be cautious and do your own research before getting involved in any bounty campaigns.

That being said, there are legitimate bounties out there that do pay out to participants who complete bounty. It's all about doing your due diligence and being able to distinguish between the real opportunities and the scams.

For important, follow trust bounty manager. If you're unsure about a particular project or bounty campaign, I suggest looking into the team behind it, the project's goals, and any available reviews or feedback from the community.
Agreed, following a trust manager is a great option but we have to analyze the project from roadmap, real team, whitepapers and more, so it's not hard to review the potential bounties and we can decide for ourselves which bounty has the most potential to get decent pay for a few weeks of campaigning work.

If the bounty project is strong and legit, then it is certain that they pay the bounty hunters the coins of their project in the end; it is not in their interest to refrain from paying because this will lead to the loss of the confidence of their project, which promoted it. Also, I always prefer the bounties that their allocations escrowed, and I am always interested in working in bounties that trusted managers manage; 90% of them will pay, but currently, the bounty work is not worth it and a waste of time due to the spread of many scam projects, so it is the responsibility of every person to do his research before joining a bounty. I recommend working in signature campaigns that regularly pay with the top currencies in the market; it is safer than others.

I have been leave bounty social work but i ejoy signature campaign smoothly. I will participate some signature campaign even if a bounty will be success rage then i can get some money. Although you can participate video and article campaign which is larger bounty poolz reward.
if a project will not get successful token sales then there token will worthless. So worthless token can't make money so a successful project will pay comfort money by all hunter.
So it is gambling rather than get paid for work, I usually prefer not to be part of the projects with no success record. Bounty campaigns don't pay much compared to regular BTC paid signature campaigns unless you get lucky and be part of the well established bounty campaign of the project. Never waste your time with useless tokens earned through worthless bounty campaigns, better respect your time, IMHO.

I find a lot of projects that pay, but the price of the coin is very cheap, sometimes it doesn't have a selling value in the market, which I regret waiting for the distribution of tokens for months, but when distributed, the price of tokens is very cheap.

When you select the bounties, always select the escrowed ones. They will pay you definitely. Also, try to select the ecosystem projects(Eg: Combo Ecosystem, Optimism Ecosystem)

Maximum Returns campaigns:

1. Signature Campaign
2. Article Campaign
3. Video Campaign

In summary, bounty campaigns can be a legitimate way to earn rewards and support new projects in the crypto space, but it's important to approach them with caution and do your research before participating.
I am completely agree with you. I think only bounties and airdrops can make some money without capital. So those who have a lot of free time can spend some time here if they want. However, before participating in the bounty, they should do some research about the project. However, campaigns from well renowned bounty managers are more likely to pay hunters.

You are actually right many bounty doesn't pay but you have to develop a good strategy that will work for you when following bounty, For me how i go about it is that
1. all the bounty i follow must be from bitcointalk, if bounty doesn't have thread on bitcointalk, i won't participate,
2. there are members with great experience, I always checkout the bounty they are following and join suite
3. then finally there people known to be posting legit and good bounty, i also watch for their bounty and follow them.

that's a few tips i use to get a good bounty.

I think the golden times for bounties are higher. In 2018 - 2019, I joined a lot of them and some gave me a nice amount indeed but nowadays the prizepools are a lot lower and a lot become scam. There are still some good bounties out there but you need to put some effort in it to do research and find the good ones.
IMHO, the best days of bounties was in 2016 and 2017. Those were the days that have a lot of batches of bounties and they were really crazy. Today still some of them pay well if the project goes beyond its expectation and becomes a success.

You are right. Previously, bounties had fewer participants and higher payouts. But now participants increase in bounties and $500 payment for social media is a day dream. But there are still some bounties like paying $100. Some bounty managers like irfan_pak10, CryptopreneurBrainboss launch big budget bounties. You can expect a $100 payout from these bounties.
It was like a pool of that will be shared by most participants. That's why those successful bounties that has lesser participants got the shared bounty and allocated greatly to those few of them.

Well, bounty these days do not pay well like it does. These days you find some bounties that end up not paying participants despite weeks of hard work. The team just walk away without paying.
Funny thing there are tonnes of bounties out there and they will promise to pay so much, and you might end up with little or nothing.
Some will even pay you in their tokens and then end up changing their smart contracts.

Really pays, but it was a long time ago. I remember they paid about $500 for social networks. Now this is a rare occurrence.

I agreed with you for participate bountys like pay $100 in 4 to 6 week. But really It's not like enough remuneration for hunter. Because if you could join unlimited participate bounty then you will received $50-100 from signature Campaign even if you will join social bounty then you can get $1-2.

When someone adds you again in telegrams and then you see that there are spam messages, report it and leave immediately.
Because almost all the group channels that do this on telegram are scammers and are really just looking for people to victimize and fool. And also be a little careful because they will provide links that also have high chances that this is just a phishing site.

Almost all of the bounties pay but they pay in their native token. Anyone can create a custom token with pennies so it's not a big thing. What really matters is which of the project really succeeds to monetise their tokens. Back in 2016-18 there were really good projects which have immense demand now so their bounty campaigns paid a good sum of money to their hunters.

Compared now, 1/1000 projects might succeed. Others end up defrauding investors, unsuccessful attemp or plenty other reaon so even after they pay, their value is nothing.

If you are getting irritated by getting added into groups, you can simply turn off the privacy setting so that unknown contacts can't add you in such groups.
The crypto environment is always not far from people who are evil for their own sake, so for me this is a big lesson that it's not easy to see the side of a new project that has potential or not. sometimes I always wait for a bounty with a clear payment such as usdt, busd or even the new token has a price even though it doesn't have to match these expectations better. project competition is very big to be growing

You are right, the current bounty is not as lucky as the previous year's bounty era and you must be selective in choosing a potential bounty to participate because if you don't find a bounty with the best and most trusted project then don't join the bounty because you will be disappointed for the results, tokens are not distributed or tokens worthless.

Yea, I know someone who made so much money from bounties those days. But, that isn't the case again these days.
On a bright side though, despite how bad it is, I still know someone still getting something reasonable from hunting bounties. So, all hope is not completely lost.

Some projects make payouts at the end of their bounty campaign, while others cheat. In Telegram, it’s hard to check how honest a project is. So look for project’s topic and its bounty topic on Bitcointalk and read posts from participants.

This makes me to wonder if bounties really pay.
There are so many bounty projects in this space. Few of them pay. Most become scams. But if you work carefully, you will be able to earn some income from here with little effort and no capital. Like last 24 april REEL bounty gave payment. 4 weeks of work each earned about $120. So I would say definitely bounties pay.
true at sometimes it indeed feels like finding needle in a haystack finding good bounty is quite hard nowadays but some of them indeed still stay true to their words and pays the bounty hunters, the rest that didn't pay are usually mediocre bounty that's destined to fail anyway so holding their coin kind of pointless.
