The most profitable year was 2016, or 2017. Then the crisis comes and a lot of us stopped earning thousands of bucks per month for almost nothing comparing with the real work.  Cheesy I thought that situation will change when Bitcoin hit 10-12k level, but altcoins didn´t react to this growth, so still we are waiting for better times.  Roll Eyes Smiley
Well, We all know about that, but keeping in mind it's pointless, useless, so we should forget about it and focus on the bounty now. And do you see what OP asks "Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020?" he don't mention anything about bounty 2016 and 2017.

Yes bounty still worth it if you choose the right one. Like many members say DIA is an example.
Not everyone is able to join these kind of Campaigns and most of the people who join any campaign aren't paid that well like the people who joined DIA and then the resultant was extraordinary success of the project gave the participants huge profits. Now a days the Campaigns are coming in abundance but there is the problem of huge supply of the participants which is making even harder for the participants to get higher rewards as the pool gets divided amongst large number of participants. Bubbalex did a great job in limiting the amount of participants participating in that campaign.

we still participate in bounty campaigns but they pay very slowly. This is the current state of affairs, and it sucks. Besides I consider this job as a partime job, because it only takes me about 3 hours a day to do the writing here. After that, I went to my main job to earn extra income. In general, there are still lots of good bounty campaigns out there.
The days in which you will make a lot of money very easily with bounty campaigns are over and people should realize this, when we take a look at how the market has changed it is obvious why this has happened, to begin with the model of investing changed from icos to ieos and this made a huge difference, many ieos do not even bother with bounty campaigns because since they are to be released on exchanges and they have a captive audience that has a lot of money and that is already part of an exchange they do not see the need for it, this has reduced the number of bounty campaigns and the quality of them making bounty hunting not as profitable as before.

Hundreds of new bounty projects can show up on Bitcointalk forum in a single year but 70% won't be that good and only 5% will bring the best profits like what happened around DIA and Tachyon, to make good profits from bounties now you have to sacrifice lots of energy

Of course that bounties are profitable, probably you don´t know it but you answered your question already.  Wink As you can see a lot of us wearing signature and participate in the signature campaign. Did you see someone to do something for free? Not that often, right? Still, it is possible to earn a nice sum of cryptocurrencies, I don't intentionally say money.  Smiley

Judging from few projects that I did some investigations on it shows clearly that some projects paid very good rewards to bounty hunters, bounties like HEX, Tachyon protocol, Cartesi and even OIkos paid, so the answer you seek is a YES.
Unfortunately, at the moment I haven't seen a real bounty like what you mentioned, especially in July-August period because most of bounties offered are less convincing, I hope that next month there will be a convincing bounty and if it can be listed on exchange.

talking about the bounty or income from the bounty project this year, for me personally it hasn't produced a commensurate reward even when promoting the previous project only earned $ 16 in 2 months. and currently I'm taking part in the Payaccept project, if you are interested you can join in it.
You should also understand that the situation right now is quite special when the epidemic is booming, the finances of many projects are forced to delay or decrease, which creates bounties that are not really good, and don't forget that unsuccessful projects are also here often, a worthy reward for each project is the impossible story. But we are still quite fortunate that a number of projects have suddenly gone into the Defi trend, many bounty hunters are smiling at tokens they used to think not worth it

I have long stopped being a bounty hunter, I prefer to dive into a project from the start so that I can benefit when the project is big, but I still save my money from work as a bounty hunter to become a trader too, I only see a few projects that come recently held a bounty event and if asked about the profit it seems not yet, take a look at next year
I don't stop chasing some projects that have huge potential in the market. I know that some of them can be a big thing someday. Its not too many as it is but I know if I find someone worth of my effort, I immediately promote them and invest to them if I have enough money. I don't lose hope for those project, we should only be careful and analyze the project properly. Its not also easy to join in btc paying campaigns since they required enough merit.

We all know that we can get free bucks on these "bounties" since a long time ago. But today, is it still worth it hence there are so many cryptocurrencies like millions of them I i'm correct.
I wonder for you guys who always participate in bounties, I really want to know your portfolio's.

Pls no shitpost here for your signature campaign thing so people know your real opinion.
Yes bounties are still worth your time if you are a hard working type, now to earn good rewards from bounties you will need to join all the available Campaigns like social media, telegram and signature, even video and article Campaigns too

Honestly, I look pass 2020 and into 2021 for altcoins' appreciation and by extension, bounties. And to this effect I think people should check up the projects whose bounties they promote and pick only ones that will last the test of time. Don't waste your time promoting projects that will disappear once they're listed. 2021, like every post-Bitcoin halving year, will be the surge year for altcoins like we had in 2017. So, do your bounties now and keep your rewards. Don't be quick to dump now.

You can easily find out yourself if there is a bounty project with good Campaign that's presently running, all you have to do is go to bounties section on the forum and do research on any bounty project you see, for me there isn't any worth my time presently than oikos bounty
and that's because Oikos is already listed on the exchange and can be traded there. if I'm not mistaken, the project is undergoing a second round? The first round of their project was successful and proved to be paying participants. Apart from that, oikos is also on the list of top Defi projects.

It's still worth giving a try, a friend made 300$ out fo a bounty Campaign earlier this year and that's what gives me the courage to give a try, I'm presently promoting oikos Cash second round bounty and I heard they paid their first round to all participants, you o my need to make sure they the project you are about to promote will worth it

I go on vacation early this year from doing bounty campaign I Only have 6 back then and it's a waste of time because they are useless coins keep checking the bounty campaign sections and until now there are a lot there that I think will not have potential because they are so similar in the projects that I used to promote.

Actually hunters mostly sell their reward as soon as they get them so I don't think many of them have any portfolio and its not as much profit as it was before. So there is still some good campaign that gives hunters a big profit but its very few. Maybe you will see only 2 or 3 projects like this every year. But something is better than nothing at all.
This is normal what do you want to do on your tokens instead? My principle is simple if the profits earned is okay for me then I will sell it already no need to hold if the tokens are in negative stance.

But if I trusted the project then I will simply hold the tokens and wait for the right timing simply like that.

Also you need to be careful with DeFi bounty projects, I've seen few bad DeFi projects on this forum that have already introduced a Campaign, be careful, the only legit or genuine DeFi projects that introduced bounty campaigns are OIkos and DIA and presently it's too late to join these bounties
