Time is on our side, yes it is!
Seems like if the amount is there then it should be shown lol.  Maybe I'm unsure or missing something.

CoinBase is a fishy service. It is better to avoid them. Use BlockChain.info
i'm interesting with your statement Grin
what is the reason you said coinbase is fishy service ?
i think they are good exchanger, many ppl buy BTC from them

what I saw till now i am using Coinbase more then 2 year and no problem at all till now.
I think so. Coinbase is very good.

All web wallets are at least somewhat suspect, as it's impossible to be truly secure without using a local wallet or preferably cold storage.

However, I've used Coinbase for several years (as an exchange, not a wallet, though I do keep ~$25 worth of BTC there for faster trading), and I've never had a problem with them. In addition to that, the complaints about trades being labeled "high risk" and failing seem to have dropped off lately, and the considerable amount of venture funding they've received and the regulations they comply with also make them more trustworthy. However, always do your own research before choosing a web wallet or exchange.

Why do you think it is fishy?
Anyway, it is always not a good idea to store your bitcoin on an exchange.

Yes, it does show my 0.00044 BTC now... It seem like it just hadn't updated...
How much did it take them to update your Bitcoins balance?

I am not sure... A bit more than I thought... I guess it took about 30 minutes.
They should definitely let users know about these delays.

Miners may not have included the transaction in a block immediately, causing a delay in this case of ~3 blocks worth of time before it was included (the first confirmation). It's somewhat unusual, but not uncommon for transactions with low fee and/or low priority.
That may be a reason - but since a big percent of the clients Coinbase has (which store Bitcoins in there) don't know absolutely everything about how Bitcoin works, I personally think it'd be reasonable and helpful for them to notice them their deposit might take up to X minutes (or X confirmations) before showing in their account. Many Bitcoin sites already do this.

Also, if they don't show unconfirmed transactions (I'm not talking about adding them to your balance - but acknowledging them) they're also making many people upset about if their transaction worked until the tx has the required confirmations.

I personally have never noticed this in the transactions I've made with coinbase, though I use it as an exchange and not as a web wallet. I believe they display 0-conf transactions, as has become the norm, but I've never checked to be certain. Displaying the transactions without adjusting the balance would make sense until a few confirmations have passed, as the transaction is valid but not yet irreversible, but as I said I'm not certain which method they use. Also, off-blockchain transactions between coinbase accounts work differently than regulat bitcoin transactions, so if you are used to one type you may notice a difference with the other, though the distinction between them is not immediately obvious in the UI as it is largely irrelevant to normal use.

You should still be able to see some sort of balance regardless of the amount.

Like the majority, I have a smaller balance as well.

Just let it update, if you used that amount. Of course it takes time as well to do this, so let their block chain confirm, etc.
