Yes, many people will win and make money in gambling, but they don't know when to stop their game, so they will play until they lose everything.
This is true.
To avoid this kind of loss we need experience.
No, you need clear head and self control.
If we have experience in gambling, then we will get to know when to stop our play.
No, you need...oh wait...i already said it ^^^
And how to make money in the long run win.
Wait, what? In games with negative expected value?  Grin

I think, experience can be a little bit helpful in the purpose of gambling, basically gambling is a luck based activity but experience matters all the way, if you have knowledge about the gambling then it would be easier to make decision for this purpose. Whatever the case is experience is the vital factor to make a good outcome...
actually there are so many formats of gambling games. you can play it in casino. for example dice games and slots games, or lottery, in such games your experience do not matter, you can do that without any experience and an inexperienced person has the same opportunists of winning which an experienced person have. while in sports gambling your experience and skill even your knowledge matter, you can take a decision in the light of your experience.

Though experience doesn't warrant winning in gambling, it helps when it comes to make wise decisions that will either make you win or stop you from losing very heavily.
Agreed, experience doesn't give the assurance of winning with gambling. But the experience always helps in managing the winning in the right manner. Some due to lack of experience just spend the winnings immediately and ends in a loss.

Here I can not fully agree with you. Here are some examples when gambling action is just this way. I always had a bad opinion about gambling.

Experience will not bring guaranteed gambling winnings, so you only need to play for fun relying on luck.

It doesn't matter how experienced are you or not, but it really depends on the game situation and everything is always a game of chances, like a random possibilities of winning in a gambling game. I would highly recommend that don't take it a serious activity so that you will be stressed on your bets, but rather enjoy what you are betting even you loss or win; the important is it brings fun to you everytime.

Whatever the case is experience is the vital factor to make a good outcome...

But in gambling, you just need to be lucky to make money all these experiences no need. But if you got a lot of experience and no luck still you can't win money from gambling. However, with gambling experience, you can save yours loses by stopping on a right time without losing all your money.

Why would "experienced gambler" even start to gamble with more money than he can afford to lose?

Lets say you have extra 100$ that you can afford to lose. Would you stop when you lose half of it? Why deposit 100$ in first place? Why not start with 50$? What experience has to do with it?

don't bet yolo
Why not? It's gambling.

divide you bankroll according to your number of sessions to play
The more sessions you play more likely you will lose because of house edge. Experience won't help you to win.

spend only money that you can afford to lose and never get tempted to bet more of that
You don't need experience to know that.

don't get greedy as compared to your previous greediness that leads to great losses, and the like.
Experience won't help you with this one. Everyone is greedy.

I beg to differ with those suggesting that experience doesn't matter gambling. Gambling is to a large extend due to luck. But without experience, the lick that you have can disappear in a twinkle of an eye. You can have luck and win but if you don't know when to exit, you will be tempted to continue so that you win more. This is when you will come head on with the losing streak and lose everything.
And that is why we have lots of experienced gamblers who know when to quit game(sarcasm)

Lets take one example.
Your bankroll is 0.1BTC and you want to play slots for example.
You hit something nice, lets say you win another 0.1BTC.

Now, you saying if you withdraw that you will withdraw this because you have experience?

Well most unexperienced gamblers wouldn't and continue to bet with their entire winnings. Excitement would be too much that sometimes they'd forget the odds are very small. Now experienced gamblers would know better. They'd either withdraw their capital and play woth their winnings or simply play with a portion of what they won. Your experience would make you avoid mistakes because of excitement or anxiety
An experience gambler will know when to quit when everything is not adding up, and that's how their instinct tell them to stop before they lose more. Of course if you are the experienced player you will know that this is not your day even if you say you were winning in the start but at the end you seem to began the losing streak. That's how the experienced gambler know how to control their self and know when to stop it they began to lose more.
i think ever an experience person cannot stop gambling so easily, although he has good experience in gambling but with the passage of time he become more addicted to gambling and therefore then he find it more difficult to quit gambling.

Experience matters in everything we do....The more experience we have under our belts, the larger the database of information we have at our disposal to make our next decision....right?  If we bet heads up on team "A" because we liked their uniforms and lost every time, then we just might learn that team "B" is a better team, even though they have ugly uniforms.

It's ridiculous to take the position that experience doesn't matter!

And that is where experience comes in. Without it there would be no stopping until everything is lost.
One example is a newbie who didn't have the beginners luck and just happen to gamble at his first time. He lose all the funds he have while the other experienced person still have some to play again tomorrow and would try if he have luck that day.
So, experienced person will deposit and if he doesn't have luck he will gamble next day again?

And if he lose next day, than what? He will try his luck next day again? And next one? And next one after that? Until he win? And when he win than he will do what? Come back next day again?

Wow, that is real experience  Roll Eyes

Your experience would make you avoid mistakes because of excitement or anxiety
If you have experience then you won't continue to gamble because you feel excitement and euphoria? Interesting theory.

Well most unexperienced gamblers wouldn't and continue to bet with their entire winnings.
vvv

And old gamblers won't continue after they win because they know and think about odds in the moments of great euphoria? That is another interesting theory.

Excitement would be too much that sometimes they'd forget the odds are very small.

I can't agree with anyone who say experience does matter. It doesn't. Self control does.
