It is a classic reasons lol , but honestly i don't think experience really necessary.
Just look at those newbie / a new comer to gamble , they spin and won it , they roll and won it, they pick an event and won it.
So what should you call it is because experience? Pure luck? Of course gambling always to take a risk and rely only on luck.

Not just in betting, I believe almost in all types of gambling you can use your experience. Experience may not help you to make profits in all gambling, but definitely it will help you to prevent losses.

Yes, believe me, before I used to to go for dicing with big bet amount, but after experience I have learnt to go with small bet amounts. This may be an silly example, but if you think how experience works in luck based to gamble, you may realize the fact.

if you said roulette games, then i think we don't use experience to play because roulette is a games that no one can know what will be out and we can win with easy. but i think in other games especially in sports betting, experience is a must that we should have because with experience, we can predicting what team or what player that can win the match.

I think that experience about what risks to take in certain situations and when to avoid doing stupid stuff is very important i gambling. The more you play, the more you will get to know the game and find out when to do take action.

In my own point of view it doesn't need an experience when it comes to gambling because any person who's got an interest into gambling to any games of gambling they can possibly learn it, even they are not that smart at all. a dealer or a banker will not cheat them however there is an advantage if you are an well experience gambler cause you know when to bet a higher amount or not.
