I think yes since he is well known all over the world and he got so many fans out there making him as an endorser will be a big plus for Centra's ICO and I've heard that DJ Khaled will also endorse this project.

I think most of those fan's barely know what an ico is. What average fan would know about crypto?
Of course there will be some, but I don't think it's anything substantial.

Floyd Mayweather has huge social media influence, so if you manage to get him to pump your coin you've done a good job getting your coin out there. I don't see how Floyd itself cares too much about anything crypto, he's just taking advantage of his position that allows him to sit back, make an instagram post and get paid millions, because I assume that these people are paying him a ton for these posts, otherwise Floyd wouldn't bother.

But who knows, maybe Floyd is really getting into crypto and sees the value. He may not be too intelligent but he's definitely sharp.

Exactly. His sphere of influence reaches as far as Africa so seeing him promoting some coins will surely wake up some of his followers and maybe influence them to buy what coins Floyd is promoting. He has tons of money already so I speculate that he is not into crypto. But we may never know because he has a lot of investments so it won't change a thing if he put thousands or even millions of dollars into the crypto industry. He is a street wise as anyone you would find. This is good thing for crypto in general in a very positive way.

Yep guy has street smarts. There are a lot of intelligent people out there but they are getting no bread.

Anyway the fact that Floyd Mayweather is promoting ICO's may be pump and dumpish, but he also hashtags #bitcoin and promotes spending bitcoins:

Quote
floydmayweatherSpending bitcoins ethereum and other types of cryptocurrency in Beverly Hills with my Titanium Centra Card. Join Centra's ICO on Sept. 19th #TMT #TBE #floydcryptomayweather #digitalcurrency

Im sure that at least a couple of people will go down the rabbit hole and learn more about bitcoin and crypto because of this. 90% of people may not have a clue but the small minority will do more research and that is what matters and that is why I think at the end of the day what he is doing is good for crypto.

I doubt the people he markets to actually know about cryptocurrencies. They'd probably look at this Instagram and think "wtf is an ICO?" Not sure why so many projects are paying (presumably) this guy to promote their ICOs when this is probably the case.

Perhaps Mayweather is interested in the success of ICO from Aventus since the project handled some of its last match tickets against McGreggor. This time he came back with Centra, this created many effects where Centra became more popular, but unfortunately the Centra team was unable to deal with hacker attacks quickly. I think what he did would have a positive impact on the participation of other famous personalities.

as much as i hate this kind of advertising, simply because its mostly bullshit.. But on the other hand, a lot of mainstream money goes into crypto circulation with people like floyd advertising for crypto.. thats probably quite a good thing, especially with an ICO that aims to have a CC you can pay in crypto with.. avg joe realizes the uses of crypto -> never goes back

win - win

Floyd's presence is a huge boost for the centra and it can lure people to invest to the project since investors may know that the project is so good since there advertiser is so famous guy. Centra will be a big project among the other ICO here.

Yes it matter it will done a big attraction in the investors and Floyd is more than an advertisements in some big cryptonews because he is know not only in the internet he has a wide range of audience so definitely by promoting any ICO like Floyd will have a big up for the ICO promotion . Just read how STOX ICO raised money in just a single day.

We should remember Centra is good project. This project had raised enough money to hire floyd. That is a good point
That does seem to be logically correct that they would have raised enough money to hire Floyd for advertising. The amount he would have charged for the advertisement would have been quite an amount of money. I have not yet had a look at Centra's project but all this buzz about its ICO is quite tempting and I will have a look at it to see whether its worthy enough to invest in.

Even without the ad for Centra, it is a good project. And with the paid advertisement coming from Floyd Mayweather it's a good ad for centra to gain more investors. But without a doubt that Floyd does have some crypto followers and he can attract some investors for the project so he does really matter in a little way. And for us who are looking the real project, ads doesn't really matter.
