It's not even about being better than dogecoin that's the issue. The main thing is what it tends to do or serve. What utility has it that dogecoin doesn't have should be the focus. To start with, dogecoin has an infinite supply and I believe this is one of the big draw backs it has. A lot of investors look at such numbers, and dogecoin isn't capped (its disadvantage). Matic has a max supply of 10 billion with a circulating supply of almost 6.3 billion. For me, I think the price is even too much considering its supply. Now, imagine what would happen if Dogecoin were to be capped at 10 billion max. I bet you, price will hit the roof. Dogecoin has a seamless transaction speed and confirmation and that's a plus in my books.

Matic did have some improvement in the past, but it didn't hold up well. However Dogecoin has survived its high price to date. Matic prices will drop again, even up to prices below $1. Matic conditions are not tested when the market price is dropping. We'll see how far Matic can hold out when the market goes bad.

personally i do not think it is worth investing in it, its all-time high was $ 2.62, however it is no better than dogecoin i think it was born as a temporary solution, a barrier to the very high fees of eth so it will disappear with the arrival of eth 2.0, then transfer erc20 tokens to the blockchain matic is truly an odyssey takes at least 2 steps and there is only a bridge that does it as far as i know

Just because one thing is bad doesn't make the other thing good. When I say killing someone with knife is bad I am not saying a gun is better, all I am saying is knife is bad, I mean gun is bad too, it is not related, they are all bad.

Same goes here, Matic is bad, I think it will stay bad for a long time, but just because I am saying Matic is bad that doesn't mean that I am supporting doge, most people think that when you say doge is bad you mean other is good or if you say doge is good the other is bad, there isn't something like that. I want to emphasize the fact that Matic is bad and I wouldn't invest but doge is bad as well and I wouldn't invest into it neither.
