Yes, I agree with you that if your positive all things will come is positive. I remember a situation that I saw a situation that there two set of people who are playing in a casino. One is a positive vibes just enjoying the game and other is the negative vibes who take the game seriously. As the game goes by the negative is really angry when he is losing and he reach the top that he bet his everything and lose it in an instant.

Lesson learned: dont let negative vibes to destroy your everything because it may leads you to a decision that you didn't think it two times.

That's not really related to positive thinking, that's simply the state of urgency. However I guess being in a state of urgency might affect your positive thinking in some cyclic manner. e.g. I only have 5 minutes left, I'll go all in with 90% odds because I'll probably win. Overall, positive thinking only affects your odds if the game is influenced by emotion, such as poker.

I am firm believer in gambling being more than just a luck game, to be truly successful you have to master the whole mental game behind it.

Positive thinking is a no.1 priority in gambling.

Affecting your edge in a multidude of different ways, such as your confidence,
which in turn will affect your play and make you perform not as good.

Dont forget, positive thinking can be a boomerang for you. When you are too positive or too believe that you'll win then it can be very bad for you especially you are in a losing streak, if you keep thinking too positive and makes you to keep playing then you may get more and more loses.

I think it depends upon the situation, like a person in sorrow and he wants to gamble just to escape loneliness then possibly the result is not good due to many things that plays on his mind and can't concentrate to have a good game, and in contrary if a person is too much positive and over confident to win then surely there are more lose along the way.

In a bad mood, people tend to make bad decisions and in games involving money, gambling when we are not in a good mood is not recommended. Positive thinking means we have the confidence to face the game. Sometimes it can be good but it does not guarantee that we get the expected results.

I guess it doesn't matter what mood you have when you are playing gambling, the only difference is that positive mood brings more fun than having negative one. No matter what mood you have, you can't change the fact that gambling is more about losing, and you have to accept that before you engage in gambling.

I also think about it that way because no matter what you think or what you put into your mind at the end of the game it still depends upon your luck if you're going to be the winner or you'll end up losing your money. Sometimes what we feel often doesn't goes the way we wanted it to go but else the opposite way, I guess that is how ironic life is.

Luck is what drives the game only thing is that if you lose out the money then you should have a positive attitude because it is where you require the most as to console that you playing for fun and not to make money else you can become too much deprived if you keep losing money and will have a hazardous effect on yourself.

But I think people take this something else. They don’t believe in negativity of the gambling. They think being positive in gambling as the positive vibes that comes out of a person and motivate him to get into that thing or be determined what you are doing. It is not like gamblers overcome the fear of losing money. The truth is they fail to control their greed. Gambling involves money and gives hopes to player that he can earn some profits for free. Basically zero work and big rewards is what they are after. This greed and temptation clouds one’s brain and he fails to see the risk involved. Gamblers don’t change their way of thinking easily.

but with positive thinking doesn't guarantee to give effect in gambling so we can win the games but it's more like how we feel before we played gambling and maybe we can be confident to win. I agree that with positive thinking, we can build positive approach too but in gambling, I think it's pure depends on the luck factor and there's nothing we can do about it to win the games.

Remaining positive in gambling doesn’t mean that you will win every game you will play because sometimes, the luck is not on your side and at that time, you have to suffer a loss. Becoming positive in gambling means that you will be able to put more concentration on your game and when you will do this, definitely your chances to win the games will increase.

You are right, but to some extent I think positive thinking works. Not much but a little bit. I believe totally in luck in gambling. Experience, skills and gambling tactics are more important than positive thinking. Hope you will agree with me in this point. An experienced gambler has greater chances of winning the game rather than a positive thinker.

Positive thinking always brings about good out come generally gambling inclusive. Although at times luck is usually play good role in gambling which means both of them can bring you positive result in your gambling success.

Positive thinking can affect and improve your confidence which is a good drive for you to gamble more but I don't think it will help you win or loose in any way but your wins or loss could be very big compared to how you would have won or lost without that positive mindset.

I think that if you are fresh and can give full concentration to game, you can win because if your mind is interrupted you will never play a good game. Positive thinking no doubt helps in concentration but guarantee for winning the bet. Everything which is done with full concentration gives positive results, but luck plays a vital role in winning a game.

Thanks for that warning, don't worry I'm aware about it. We do know that too much of everything can also cause you to collapse and can lead you to bad results. With my stand as a gambler, I know my limitations but I tend to remain positive when I know the risk that I'm taking is quite high and it gives me the courage to keep on moving though the results may vary. It's applicable for a gambler to stay positive whether we gamble with the amount we afford to lose or not.

It is always good to be positive at everything, not just on gambling but in everything in life. We can't just expect to get positive result when we are so negative all the time, unless we are lucky Wink

I kind of agree with what you are saying, because in the end it is all a luck's game, but going with negative emotions will affect your decision making, this is a well known fact in any field not just in gambling, if someone goes with his mind thinking about all of his problems and being negative he will likely make the wrong decision, and will win less games compared to the person who is going in with a positive attitude and with nothing on his mind.

Yes, it does, at least it did in when I was gambling most of the time when I was playing stress-free without any greed to make a huge money in short-term I was able to make a small profit and withdraw without any pain.
But sometimes I lost also. Compared to Negative i won more when i played in a positive mindset.
