Being optimistic despite the pressure, I guess gives you an edge not over the game itself but to your opponents. Though, in reality, even how positive you are as long as this isn't your day, you'll still walk home empty-handed. Being optimistic as well is like telling your brain that you could still win just play, like a devil provoking you inside. At the end of the day, luck will surely prevail in the world of gambling.

I do not think positive thinking will affect our edge in gambling. It only affect our attitude towards losing. As stated, gambling result depends on the randomness of its internal setup. Anything from outside that sphere has no effect. I have seen lots of positive thinker getting busted in their whole time of playing. It only helps in accepting loses in gambling, no more no less.

I believe so.Positive thinking can be of great motivation for everyone but not in gambling.We all know from the start that gambling is just between chance and luck and having a positive outlook have nothing to do with the result of gambling.But if you're lucky enough on that day,well for sure you can bring home the beacon definitely.

It doesnt affect your luck but it provokes yourself to gamble more. Positive thinking attracts eagerness resulting to have more self confidence and more rounds to bet. If you feel you are winning today, you keep yourself playing until you realize you dont even have a money to get home. If you are really lucky that night well, thats good for you but it doesnt mean that mindset affects your luck, if that so, i have now all the money on casino.

Feeling and patience have no any relation with luck as well as with gambling. And without luck you can't won anything in gambling.
So yes strong feeling won't have any significant effect on your winning but it can help you to control your anger or emotion while you are playing but not after you lost everything Grin

Its hard to stay positive when you lose a lot of money. I like to think that its better to gamble without emotions, positive or negative ones, both can ruin you in some moments, I had chance to feel how positive thinking like its my night, I will try only one more time it's my moment, next bet will be great win make me lose all the money I have, I deposit once, second time, third time until my wallet is empty, I had moments when negativity ruined my gameplay. In little doses everything is good, even bad things can be good sometimes if you know what I mean, you need to have clear head, to stand with both legs on the ground if you want to be successful gambler, or to not lose more then you planned too.

Yes luck and analyzation are some of the keys to increase winning chance rate but somehow having a positive feeling that you may hit the bell will also increase your expectation to win. Things make gambling always so fun all the time are due it's uncertainty and some people or mostly yeah thinks it's about luck and nothing else in the end. Clearly there is no influence as it was referring to gambler's inside stuff. But for a gambler, like I said above, it's really nice to have a mindset like that. It's not like expecting a false hope but rather, having a peace of mind when doing gambling. People can't make a good analyzation if their minds are empty and neutral. Since all bets are based on luck even with a backed up proper analyzation, we are decreasing the chance of losing here because of the good output came from our self analyzation.

Well can't applied though for gambling types that faces a house edge like dice, roulettes as it was mainly pure luck.

If we think positive then it affect the edge in gambling and i think the positive thinking bring every thing in the same sequence as it is normal while in the gambling major thing is the interest and the addiction of the people because once you become the addicted it like the disease and for gambling it is good to think positively. Gambling is providing us the money which is the outcome of this game while when we play cards some time experience also matters and we win because of experience while sometime the lucky people wins.

Is that strong feeling you're pertaining to comparable to a gut feel? If it is then I think that despite gambling being a game of chance, certain circumstances just fall under coincidental incidences which makes a gut feel valid. It is during those times that make you believe that winning is within you when your gut feel is right. However, the chances of feeling this way and having the best outcome as possible in my opinion just does not happen as we often wish. Either way, despite the lack of support and proof of how this strong feeling can be valid, I do really think that it somehow sends a vivid message you need especially when gambling.

It helps somehow for me when I'm in times of near to lose all of my funds. And when I'm doing my last strategy which is YOLOing and partnered with positive thinking. That's how I gamble and sometimes it is helping because of the positive way of thinking but sometimes it doesn't.

I highly doubt that positive thinking can affect the outcome of our bet as if we are playing on an online casino then already the outcome is fixed by the algorithm on which the casino is built, but if we are betting on a sports game then also there is no chance that outcome is dependent on the positive thinking. But if we are playing in a physical casino then there are chances that the outcome can be affected by our positive thinking to a certain extent.

Gambling thru online engagement would be entirely different since we cant able to applied up positive thinking towards our actions compared on playing a physical casino where we can some positive views that might affect our gameplay.For example when we do play poker, having a calm mind will really give you some advantage since you are confident and enjoying on what you are doing.
