I like to watch pre-match interviews and Sport programs, where experts discuss upcoming matches and events and then I will "borrow" their predictions to bet on some of the games and matches.

I know which of these programs have experienced commentators and guests on the show and most of my bets has paid out "good" that was based on those predictions.  Cheesy Grin

Hi,

The development of gambling over the past years has brought with it many connections, as methods and types have evolved with the creation of more games. We can gamble on everything and in everything, and among the well-known things in our current time, especially in sports, is the emergence of individuals and sites specialized in gambling prediction and expectations and majorities rely on them before making their bets, due to the amount of information and recommendations they obtain from the site owners.

If you are interested in gambling on sports, do you rely on prediction betting sites? Why?
What is the most prominent site you rely on?

Are predictions supposed to work when we want them? Predictions are based on what could happen next, and no one knows the answer, it's meant to go left or right, thats why it's called prediction, and since no one knows what will unfold it's wiser to avoid risking too much.

Why should you rely on a betting site? They are all the same, apart from the scam ones, some people believe that using different gambling websites will bring them luck, but they will find out when they try different online casinos.

There should be no problem from the casino side if you choose to use the good ones, the only thing thats a must is lowering your expectations when you are gambling, risk what you can afford to use.

Turn gambling into your entertainment hub, not money making source.

Not really, sometime I bet on casino which not specially for betting sport. I am fine if the casino only have a limited sport betting and only focus to special sport in what I like. Maybe if that site only have football, I am okay to bet on that site without move to another special sport site. But it's also depend on other bettor, sometime they only focus where that site only focus on sport betting because they can bet on another sport at the same time. About prominent site, I certainly like the website which many listed on this forum where many member bring the casino signature. so if there is a problem, I don't have to go far to complain, just write here and and the problem will definitely be resolved quickly.

Even the gambling prediction work with your luck. If your luck does not shine that day the matter you predict a game it won't work for you. Many people would just come to casino and said, this team will win and they bet on it and finally they won the game. Guy that does not mean that it was your prediction that lead you to the winning but you luck because there are days you predict enough but no single game entered. There are some people that are saying that they are very good in sports prediction, guys don't believe them. Play your games and wait for your luck to shine. Don't be deceived by any third party but play the little you can  and wait for the results. As for me I have not rely on sport prediction but always follow my mindset to play the games.
I have a similar stance on this betting issue. I never want to trust a third party and I think that those who do this are mainly pursuing the goal of making money on naive and new players who have no experience. They can blindly trust them and use their forecasts, sometimes I even see that they pay for them. Many are too greedy and want to make money in bets so much that they are ready to do everything they are told and on whom to put all their money. We still need to take our time and gradually place our bets on those teams that we want to bet on, and it is advisable to still make at least a minimum forecast and not guess the winner.

Another aspect worth keeping in mind is that these prediction sites may foster an unhealthy obsession with gambling. People may come to believe that they cannot make a gaming decision without first examining the sites. They may become concerned or upset if they are unable to access the sites when they need to. I believe it is critical to remember that the purpose of gambling is to have fun and enjoy the experience, not to get concerned or agitated. And if they lose a substantial sum of money, it might have major ramifications for their financial health since, even if the prediction site is correct, the individual may lose their bet.

I just do my thing, I don't use any prediction websites to gamble, and I don't gamble based on what others believe will happen, everyone knows nothing when it comes to prediction, we are all in the dark until the end of the game.

The lucky ones will win and the less lucky ones will lose, how hurtful your losses will get depends on how much you decide to risk on the games.

Is a prediction going to work? Only fools will believe that it will, because you are simply trying your luck, you can't solve a math if you can't see its questions, linear equations or other.

Do not expect predictions to keep working for you, its predictions and clearly its means that you won't always be right.
Everyone has their own style of gambling and possibly the person making that prediction has a different style, That is one of the reasons I won't even give another person's prediction a try, and no matter how good you are when it comes to a prediction, it can still fail so it will even hurt you more when you even give another person's prediction a try because the regret will be like, Why did I even try it in the first place? So to avoid regrets like that, I stay on my part of gambling, I don't like anything joint or even try channels for predictions. And since we are all trying to place our bet on luck instead of believing in people, why not believe in yourself?

And when you talk about luck, only a few people are lying about their wins. I won't argue the fact that we don't win but the number of wins will be very few, and a lot of people will act like they don't lose at all. In the same way, don't like people talking badly about people who gamble, you don't know if that is where the person might get rich. As for me, I gamble alone, and people don't even know about my gambling habit.

I never do that. I check the odds and besides that I follow my gut. I always bet on matches that I watch and sports that I like, so I have an understanding of what's going on and who to bet on. If I have my doubts or there's no chance of knowing who's better in a match I just skip that and bet on another one. Most of the time predictions are wrong. Take that Tyson's last fight for example. There's no way of knowing how it goes. Some people say he's in good shape, others say something else that he faked the workout videos and is really old and slow.

I gamble on sports and don't rely on any services.  For me personally I need to feel comfortable with the bet because I understand the risks involved.  That tends to leave me betting on games I understand and sports I follow so I can calculate trends, injury status, etc.  Also for me gambling is a form of entertainment, if I bet on sports I don't like to watch then I don't see the point in it for me.

Well, I don't and will probably not try it. There are instnces bettors are winning big from these prediction sites but I always wonder, is it as satisfying as betting with your own? I do lose with my own analysis and prediction but at least I had the feeling that it was me who decided with that bet and there no one to blame for that. Just thinking of losing because I followed what these prediction sites are suggesting, would give me regrets especially if I had the opposite bet as my personal viewpoint. Therefore, to avoid having such feeling, I just mind my own way of betting. I also enjoy the experience more given that no one dictated me  and still doesn't guarantee a winning bet. Anything could happen during the game and no statistic will give you assurance that you will bag the win for that bet which is why I don't  have the means to bet on those predictions.

No and no...It's a big no for me because that will make me lazy to create my own analysis and trust my self with sports betting.

Well, I also follow predictions from other people or we call that tipster but I don't "rely" on them as that is not the key to be successful in sports betting. you may win by following them but where is the consistency, are you sure the tipster you are following will give picks regularly? What if no tips are given, or what if in the long run the tips are no longer free?
I agree , you may use it as a guide on your decision if you really needed so but  that depends on you as a bettor. If you'd be happy just with the profit and not with the 'true' experience of analyzing the game, then you're free to follow those prediction platforms. Personally, I'd just stop gambling if I would be depending with such tool. I'd probably feel like I'm cheating against myself. If I would be too scared to lose that I'd depend with other  assumption, I'll just quit because there's a bigger chance that I'd be choosing profit in most instances, ad that could make me greedy, then addiction is on the line.

No. Most of these sites exist just to generate traffic, so ads promoted on the website are displayed to most people as possible, and the owners make an income for themselves. I don't believe there is a serious commitment with the informations shared on these portals. They predict anything, justify their predictions somehow and don't care if their guesses will be right or wrong, as long as people are accessing the website and generating them income this way. At same time, even if they were careful and fully commited to these predictions, it wouldn't mean guarantee of anything, anyway.

Sports' results are random after all, and you still have to be lucky to pick the right side on a match, being it the favorite or the underdog. If there was such things as prominent sites to access accurate matches' results, nobody would bet on the losers anymore, and as consequence, there wouldn't be money to pay the winners, leading this gambling modality to extinction.

There's no such thing about being permanent and also when it comes to the matter about learning your own then you cant really be able to do so since you've been that too reliant with those tipsters that you are following..If you are really just that too lazy and doesnt really care about learning or getting experience then its your call or choice to make. Sooner or later you would really be able to find out the true importance
that you should have learnt up things on your own and bet with your own but well we do have our own choices in life. So if it does work for you then go ahead but just like been said that you would really be able to tell the difference on the time that you would really be that going solo or with your own. Its not bad to look up with those other sites or platforms or other peoples bets or analysis and just like been said that you could really be able to snip out some ideas about their bets but not really that totally be relying or depending on it. Nothing beats out that you would be betting on your own because if the said bet would really be ending up
on a loss then you wont really be having any feel of regret just because of what happened. You would really just that easily accept it out since its your fault and thinking that you have done something wrong.
Whereas when you are really that betting based up on others bets then it would really be giving out that kind of frustration.

Yes, I like sports betting but so far I have never used a prediction website because I don't feel the need for it and only use websites that display team or athlete statistics and are used for analysis.
I don't know for sure how prediction websites work, nor whether using a website like that will increase our winning rate, and as far as I know there are websites like that that are paid so that when we want to use their services we have to spend more money but in my opinion everything that is done is just trying to make a profit, but like when traders follow paid or free trading signals, there is no guarantee of profit, the same goes for when bettors follow prediction websites.

I don't believe it does if you've only predicted out of the blue but if it's accompanied by some kind of analysis and knowledge in the sports and information about the players, I'd say that prediction would be a big help for sports betting, it always work for you too because that's what you do when you're betting on sports, you predict who's going to win, that's what a lot of bettors do when they bet on sports, they predict so of course it works for them and any of us. If you're talking about if it works in a way that leads you to win, it doesn't matter and it doesn't make sense to ask that question.

I rely on my own research, but I always read the opinions of experts on what the likelihood of a given match outcome is. I believe that we should not neglect free forecasts, especially those that are made in good faith. This can be compared to the situation in medicine, when a patient comes to a doctor, tells of complaints and asks for a diagnosis. And the doctor, instead of conducting several instrumental examinations, relies only on his opinion. People are often afraid that an expert's opinion will not coincide with their own. But sometimes it’s also useful to compare your forecast with the expert’s forecast.

I honestly do not mostly rely on predictions when I make bets on sports. I only check prediction site when I'm hesitant with my own predictions. I'm not really a sport fan, so I mostly bet on the sports and players I'm mostly familiar with. Making my own predictions gives me this feeling of thrill, especially when I see successful results from my own predictions, which makes me proud of myself haha.

It doesn't matter, prediction is prediction, either on sports or on something else, every prediction is based on luck, and thats why not many are successful with gambling, it's better to keep risking only what you can since you can't tell what's yet to happen.

Prediction is not something I can rely on, since it is all about trying to see what will happen in the future, and that's beyond the power of humans, so I can not always be sure, if it goes my way then I win, if it doesn't then I lose.

The only way I can protect myself is to avoid relying on predictions, and use small money to risk the bets, trying to see if I will be wrong or right, obviously it's not safe to risk a lot on such things, the dangers are like a shining light, everyone should be aware, because its not hidden.

i have never used their predictions and will not, because the predictions provided by the betting prediction site are someone's analysis, and because they are the result of someone else's analysis i do not trust them as my decision on the bet. i am more confident in the results of my own analysis and bet on it. it doesn't matter that it will lose in the end, at least it is the result of my analysis and i don't trust other people to decide on my own bets.
