(...)Better to sue Elon for this and stop him from doing this again in the future.
His behavior is very condemnable, but I think those who are losing money should blame themselves more than blame. One of the things that I've noticed quite clearly is that many newcomers to the market don't really research the returns or risks behind their investments. Many people do not define what their initial investment is, they are more like gamblers with this market.

...I still don’t think Elon musk still has that influence or he wanting to own such influences on Dogecoin. He owns twitter and he can decide what’s best for his business and it’s just coincidence the small rise on Dogecoin.

In order for your doubts about the influence of Elon Musk on the price of Doge to disappear, it is enough to look at the posts on Twitter and compare with the change in the price of the coin. For example, when Musk changed the Twitter logo to Doge, the price of the coin increased by 25%. And accordingly, the price dropped by 15% after he removed the Doge logo from Twitter. So this is not a coincidence.

People will be suprised if Elon rename Twitter to Barker or Barkings Wink

Lol, but who knows, this guy is eccentric and wanted attention so let's see,  Grin

Again as others have said, the rally was simply a manipulation by Elon and wanted to test the market if he still has some influence on it or not,

Quote
The impact of Doge replacing Twitter’s blue bird sparked greater upswings in Dogecoin. Remarkably, in that specific 24h window, this largest memecoin’s price shot up 33% to attain its 3-month-high of $0.102. Investors and crypto enthusiasts turned themselves into keen observers of Dogecoin’s hype-driven rally.

Price momentum was not only the bullish DOGE metric. Spikes were also recorded in various other metrics – social mentions, trading volume, network activity, and whale accumulation – as well.

https://thenewscrypto.com/elon-musk-twitter-doge-set-dogecoin-only-to-a-brief-bullish-rally/

So just imagine if he did this to the bull run, (maybe this will be his next move), it could drive the price even higher.

There is no doubt that Elon Musk is one of the Dogecoin Whales, he and those people working on Twitter would have benefited greatly from these changes, this is pure market manipulation, it is even possible he bets in both directions before the logo was changed and after the logo was changed. Even a novice trader knows that when the logo was changed that the price is likely going to dump and this is one of the best short trades this year.
We could assume that Twitter benefits something but I know he earns more than Twitter. Because till now, we never know and actually don't have any idea how much Dogecoin he holds. However, I don't think this is the reason why he buys Twitter, might he use it as a medium to spread his influence and make people know his name? And I see how effective it was because despite the thing he did before, many people are still relying on his words and yes, that is exactly what we see now.

It’s high time we all stop the unnecessary speculation right now guys, yea we are well aware the huge role Elon musk played in the public growth which turned it to a price surge for Dogecoin.

I still don’t think Elon musk still has that influence or he wanting to own such influences on Dogecoin. He owns twitter and he can decide what’s best for his business and it’s just coincidence the small rise on Dogecoin.

I am not a lawyer, but assuming he did this in order to profit off some Doge holding he has, then I think that according to the law of the United States against inside trading, he was supposed to disclose any significant amount of Doge he had, so the regulators would assume he is partaking in fair-game and not manipulating the market to his favor.

You are correct that under United States law, insider trading is prohibited, and individuals who have access to material non-public information about a security are required to disclose that information before trading. This applies to traditional securities, but I am not sure is it the same for cryptocurrency assets like Dogecoin. It is my belief that Musk is fully aware of the legal requirements, but given his past behavior, he may be deliberately taunting the SEC and testing the limits to see how much he can get away with. It is not uncommon for Musk to make controversial statements or take actions that seem to challenge established norms and regulations, and he often faces criticism for this behavior.

It would be similar to him having to make public is intends to sell some of his Tesla stocks.

If I recall correctly, he pulled a similar stunt with Tesla's stocks before, did he not?

I thought it was an April Fools Joke as well, but we all know who is the CEO of Twitter right? I don't think he is just toying around with it though. It could be something around the lines of publicly promoting Doge coin since he's holding it anyway so he wants to generate plenty of hypes into it therefore pumping its price so that it would be beneficial to him since he already did the same before.

Twitter became a really weird place after he took over, huh.

Not really sure if that can serve as a promotion for cryptocurrency since it is only a logo and a person who isn't in cryptocurrency in general wouldn't really know that the logo represents a cryptocurrency, unless they have so much extra time to open Google and do some research of their own about it only to find out what the change is about.

Elon Musk really surprises the world at times, and this is a classic example of that. We thought it might be for a few hours and will be removed after that, but as I can see, it's still there, so I wonder what his motive is behind this.

Education is better than raw promotion of the world of shitcoins to people who do not even know what a shitcoin or a ponzi is.
Imagine after this is gone, thousands of people start to buy not only doge but any kind of dog scam and getting scammed for thousands, that is not the first crypto-currency experience I want the mainstream newbies to have, to be honest.

This is insanity.
Why in the world would any serious businessman would do this? It seems that at this point Twitter is just a toy for Elon Musk to mess with rather than a way for him to made money off. It is not even April 1th anymore.
It is a private company owned by Elon Musk and he shelled out $44 billion and if he wants to change the logo, so be it and it is a kind of promotion for the cryptocurrency market as well as people who are not even in this space will try to learn about the change in logo which is an advertisement which is unprecedented.

As a meme-based cryptocurrency, DOGE has always had a strong community following. The recent surge in its price after Twitter changed its website icon , the dog breed associated with DOGE, is a testament to the power of online communities and viral marketing. However, it's important to remember that DOGE's price is highly volatile and influenced by a variety of factors, so investors should approach it with caution.
There’s a huge risk here so deal with care because Elon can change his mind anytime and it happened already before for sure, the price will be more volatile. The hype of Elon to DOGE is very influential, by just changing the logo of the twitter the price reacts on this,

Elon Musk definitely know when to take advantage of his position and power to make a meme coin surge even for just a short period of time, for those who have successfully rode the wave during that time, I'm certain that they are just too happy right now but for those who didn't and failed, they maybe cursing after the drop. I mean, they can't blame anyone especially Elon because they are the ones who chose the coin and I know they know the risks with it.

...what will happen to DOGE if twitter backs its old logo? That can be more worst.

it seems doge really need constant shilling for it to have meaningful increase, honestly it's just funny how after hundredth times of doge shilling attempts some famous figure influence aren't fading, i'd expected such shill to be useless after so many similar attempts and it seems i was mistaken.
Elon Musk is well-known, so there is no way that he would promote a project without immediately seeing its cost soar. Not even Doge. He is aware that many people follow him in everything he does, whether it be with cryptocurrency or something else. This explains why you occasionally see him promoting Dogecoin. Don't blame for that.

Within hours after Elon Musk's recent shill post on Doge, the price of Doge soared from 0.07 to 0.1. That illustrates his Twitter influence in the cryptocurrency world

What on earth is Elon Musk turning Twitter to at this moment I give up on that social media since it has become highly centralized since it changed ownership, I was amazed when I saw the dogecoin logo replacing the Twitter bird 🐦 logo for a while before it was taken off and this shows the total control of the platform and it used to promote a meme coin such as Dogecoin.

But one fact is certain, that is Elon Musk will run out of ideas to push dogecoin to everyone's face and try to pump its price for the interest of his huge investment in the project.

I don't want to laugh at these plays, but really people are overthinking about it. While the source of this information did not have any clear feedback on the future, and now look at the price reaction after twitter returns to normal.
Perhaps many people will see Elon Musk as a manipulator of this market, but really, perhaps when we stand outside and observe the reaction of the crowd, we will gradually realize that those who know more than us don't believe it indiscriminate manipulation.
As expected, this is a clear price manipulation and Elon should be liable for this.
We all know his influence, and by just a simple move towards a specific project it creates hype that can put a lot of investors at risk. Hoping that many already learned the lesson of a too much hype project, always expect for the correction. Does anyone here lose a lot of money because of this hype? Better to sue Elon for this and stop him from doing this again in the future.

As per CoinGecko, it is up almost 20%, in the meantime. Upon checking further, I can not find any news regarding it. Does anyone know the reason behind it? Does Elon just playing around?

Or is it has something to do with the matter of Elon's lawsuit in regard to market manipulation with Dogecoin?
Do we need a news regarding that? Of course Elon is just playing with the investors again, and look what happened to the price of DOGE a few hours after he changed the logo of Twitter to logo of DOGE.

Currently, the price of DOGE is going down already, and it just shows that Elon is still capable of tricking newbie investors with regards to DOGE. He is making fun of his newly acquired social media platform, the coin itself, and the investors themselves. I still can't forget a meme (I think) where it says there "Let that SINK in." a few hours after he acquired Twitter, and in that picture, he is going to his office holding a real sink.

Elon's mind really isn't the same as other rich businessmen out there. Well, at least he has a humor unlike others. Cheesy
This proves that Elon can still manipulates people that follows DOGE. Now that the DOGE logo is removed and reverted into original twitter logo again, The price of DOGE suddenly dumps making those people who bought DOGE at that time lose some money. I hate it how people are still buying these non-sense logo changing. We know that it won't be a permanent change and I personally think that it isn't an achievement that a twitter logo is changed by a dog logo. We can see how powerful people are when they acquired a platform that is being used by many especially in crypto space.

I noticed it also a few days ago, which is shocking. I thought they changed the loading icon to the profile of the person when you checked it, but when I tried other people, it was really Doge, but when I tried it now, it is gone already. ELon is just making fun of Twitter, I mean, its for his entertainment, lol. But for sure, we know the hidden agenda on Elon's part: to pump dope and have fun.

He makes fun both of Twitter and DOGE. I find it kinda funny how people were kinda hyped when DOGE was pumped by 30%, but it came back to the old numbers, just as I thought.
