I don't know why would someone use faucets. They give very little and are time consuming.
Faucets help new (and poor) users get involved in the currency with little barriers to entry.
The amount might not mean alot to you, but for a new user it could be the reason they decide to take the leap and buy some crypto
I remember using BTC faucets back in 2012 before I actually bought my first BTC, having a tiny bit in my wallet made we want to go out and get more to add to my balance
it is the ONLY way for some guys to get crypto.. not everyone can or wants to take money from their bank account and give to an exchange.
don't forget guys we don't ALL have extra money laying around.
faucets helped me get started and i still sort of us them and i get good coin on them too !
