Started off as a fun and the developers thought to have a good time but then the shilling of Elon Musk changed everything and now Dogecoin has become one of the most volatile coin and it is time they return after the long hiatus and start implementing the updates because the last time when the price started to rise the transaction was getting delay and the developers had to scramble and made the updates.

But on Dogecoin Foundation resurfacing well that's interesting but can the coin actually compete with new generation coins out there trying to be more than a speculative coin and hold value at the same time.

With the entry of some big names in the crypto industry as well as well-known businessmen, I don't think DOGE is a token meme anymore. Of course there will be changes in the vision and also the development of the ecosystem and this can be an attraction for investors

There's truth with what you've said. He had told good and bad things about bitcoin but later on, most of them weren't good and healthy anymore thus, he focused with dogecoin. Well, with this return of the dogecoin foundation, will his companies gonna start accepting dogecoin payments? I guess they won't. So Musk did this all just by few tweets! What a powerful personality he is! The crypto market is shaken by his decisions and now this new drama of dogecoin. I don't believe it!
We as a community claims to be decentralized and still react based on what one person thinks about it! What a shame!
Also great regrets will start flowing in shortly. I used to have 20k dogecoins but I have no clue where they are now! Lost opportunity and I am regretting!

I like to believe that Elon Musk is a decent person but his actions clearly suggests he along with some of his rich friends are in possession of a large amount of cheap dogecoins. The project was going in its way and as soon as the Elon has interest over it, now it has a different advisors and roadmaps ahead. They are even trying to change the algo which was not the plan for dogecoin. Clearly the devs are getting some financial help in moving towards a different strategy.

I consider dogecoins to be the worst investment. The person who is behind this meme coin is Elon Musk. It goes without saying that it is a speculative tool for him. He could pump it just by one tweet. But now I hope that people don’t trust this coin any more and see that it doesn't’ have any real value, so they will not buy it blindly and wait for gainings.

@marine4u. If you want to speculate on a coin, I reckon there are more undervalued coins in the market that would give you better returns for your investment. Check those projects in the Solana ecosystem. However, for dogecoin, I would wait for the next bear market before planning on buying this. Dogecoin is still very much overvalued.

Elon will go to the Doge in that reunion and it will continue to be pumped and purged again. Lol, but the result is probably related to the structure of Tesla accepting the Doge for their type of payment. Indeed, Elon is alluding to arranged processes for some other linkage. At least this move makes people generous with Doge again.
The traders will clearly pump on this news and dump on the buyers later, however, is this news only created by Elon as a plan to pump and dump dogecoin? It might not be, I reckon. There will be more development on his news through the foundation’s new roadmap once it is released.

Having a foundation in charge of a cryptocurrency is a huge point of centralization. It undermines a lot of what crypto is supposed to represent. I am sure they will still refer to it as the people's coin but all this marketing is just smoke and mirrors. Dogecoin cannot be permissionless with gatekeepers like Elon and Vitalik. I can imagine Vitalik trying to move Doge away from being focused on payments and wanting to turn it into a world computer.

Well, nobody should be stopping anyone or any foundation for that matter to make any coin the best as it should be even with the aim of making it the number one above Bitcoin and Ethereum. This foundation with Elon and Vitalik on board can certainly be attracting attention and can be the hub for anything related to Dogecoin. Good luck to the people who are behind the foundation and all of its future endeavors.

It appears that there are people behind dogecoin that are doing serious efforts to make this cryptocoin the no.1 coin in market capitalization. Elon Musk has mentioned something that the coin that is the most unlikely to be no.1, will be no.1. These were not the words he said, however. I dont understand why theres hype with this news. Advisors aren't devs and this news isn't important though unless Vitalik join the development team of Doge then it could have a worth otherwise its just a meme coin after all. I have no beef with doge but damn many people are going to be trapped by this hype. Musk must have not been serious saying that Doge will take BTC's place. It is far from reality. @GreatArkansas. This might not be a troll by Elon. The Dogecoin foundation might really be reorganized and launched with Vitalik and Tesla’s legal advisor as part of the board of advisors. This will provide the structure required to form a real development team and also maybe legal and marketing teams for the project.
This is actually opportunistic statement by the founding members of DOGE. Obviously, DOGE ecosystem has way way lot money than it had previous year and now they are actually getting serious about the meme coin and it's no more joke for the company or project as such. If big peeps like Vitalik, Hiatus are involved then this is something different and the roadmap for DOGE could change drastically. Idk, but Elons planning regarding funding of SpaceX project seems to be reasonable and can drive the market capitalisation for DOGE too wild. I think with the updated news like this, things gonna be amazing for the DOGE project and it's ecosystem. Though we hate ELON out of his behaviour, we should not let down doge as whole. That's gut feeling.

The only reason DOGE is still alive right now is because of Elon and the pump gang. Sure I am a little salty I tip most of mine away years ago when it was just a joke of a currency to have fun with but honestly I do not see an unlimited supply crypto doing anything good. At some point the music will stop again and it will be a quick ride back down to a few pennies if you are lucky. Just be careful.

Tesla and Ethereum are behind Dogecoin at the moment, oh shit this was a shock to me. whether I can interpret that doge is now a serious thing. maybe after they become part of the dogecoin foundation, these coins will have a more serious vision and mission later.
