And why in gods name should i have to be taken seriously when you guys say i can't take you seriously ?

Because you come off as an angry and illiterate 13 year old. Just read over your own DOGE thread as if you had not written it, and tell me that is not true. But your thread might just end up convincing those zero money and zero impact retards that are a part of this market (and aren't already a part of DOGE).

Calling dogecoin a joke is like taking a ferrari painting it pink and then saying its a joke. The guts of Dogecoin are just as good as bitcoin. The name or the gimmick does not matter. Under the hood is what matters.

anyone who has a brain and read what you said will simply laugh.

it is crystal clear there is no other reason for your comment other than to attack me personally and
discredit me in the hopes you can undermine the rather articulate points i have made in a mature manner (unlike you)
you have NO retort to any point i have made and you have done what every single other delusional Doge fanatical cheerleader has done
and that is change the subject, attack me personally and dodge responding to any specific point(s) i have made.

You and all the rest of you essentially post..
"Spoetnik is a poo poo head and Doge is Much great"
That's what it it all sounds like to me lol
That is the quality of your intellect here and rather predictable to say the least.
And it's fine with me because smart people will see straight through your veiled, biased agenda and see what is and not what your trying to portray.

I should know better than to *try and have a conversation with people around here..
the only thing you guys can do is flame and attack people and post meme pictures and moronic broken 'engrish' comments like "Doge coin To The Moon"

And your half-ass attack on me is so weak and ridiculous i'm not going to address it.
Come up with something better and i'll give it some consideration, other wise don't waste my time.

Why are you such an angry person? Don't do that to yourself.

Spoetnik is himself a noob. A noob who thinks it's his job to dictate policy of others.
And hat is in direct conflict with Satoshi's open source Bitcoin philosophy.  Maybe
Spoetnik needs to read the Bitcoin Whitepaper before going around thinking he
knows Satoshi. Of course pigs tend to forget those sorts of things whenwealth
is all their after.

For such a noob Spoetnik really does get around here at bitcointalk and post a lot of
nonsense, and spread a lot of FUD.

For NOOBS (rookies):

Unless one has at least a year in here their still a rookie. And your not an old timer
without at least a few years here. Me? Been here a year, first found Bitcoin in 2011.
And I don't ever go around here bashing coins even though I believe Bitcoin is King.
But I have given some advice and offered plenty of opinion. Still, I seldom run over
anyone anywhere unless they really have it coming, and I never trash any competing
crypto. That would be a low class act, very low class, or no class at all, depending...

That said much coin turns out to be really wow after all. Most that had been
here for a spell thought it was just another regular coin. Turns out it's not just another
regular coin. And the FUD it gets merely proves many are scared of it. And it's obvious
why they are too.

Sadly others such as Spoetnik can't seem to get over the fact that this isn't just his club,
and his alone to dictate. Typical behavor of control freaks though. Steve Jobs would be
proud.

Sure, everyone is entitle to their own opinion, and to share it.

But when jerks start tossing around that gay thing on top of repeatedly trying their
best ruin others desires, not to mention wrongly thinking their superior to 'noobs', plus
spreading much FUD it's time to  run interference and put them back in their place.

And no Spoetnik I don't like you, or your motives, not to mention your low class
behavior.

And I wont debate you nor give you the time of day, except right here I did rip you.
You earned that, and really a whole lot more.

Bad Karma? it's a bitch, just like Spoetnik.

It isn't technically inflationary, but the total supply will be inflated by 5 billion coins a year.

/econ, math people will get this

The supply will increase by 5 billion per year, not inflate. Inflation is a separate phenomenon where the buying power of a currency falls, and does not necessarily follow upon an increasing supply.

I'm sure you know that, not trying to show you up -- just commenting to help keep terminology clear.

No, you are pretty wrong there. Inflation is just growth, new coins produced. If it is only .5% per year, then the inflation rate is .5%.
Growth and inflation regarding money is essentially the same thing. But yes, we often use inflationary to mean excessive quite often. But in this case we are just stating the rate.

From the dogecoin wiki

Inflation    Approximately 100 billion coins to be mined by end of 2014. Thereafter, 5.2 billion new coins per year.

So the wiki agrees with this basic definition of inflation by stating the inflation rate.

The inflation rate of Doge starts off at 5% and slowly goes down from there. Not terrible at all, but still inflationary and considing there will be 100 billion coins - OMG!
That is a lot to start with. Now, just semantics in another way as each BTC has 100,000,000 bits/Satoshi's.

I think we're looking at the wrong side of the story. Forget the 500k venture turn down.

He agrees with government regulation sticking their fingers in our pockets? Sounds like he turned down 500k and accepted 5 million from a crooked politician.

If that bit is true i'm selling my doge and not coming back, regardless of speculation on price

Also lied about DOGE having a cap when it first got the first few supports. Thing is a turd. Tempted to neg feedback for advertising a coin as having a cap and then going full ass liberal nuts on us. Fuck DOGE

seen this other day and i thought, of course he did.. he would have been dumb to accept the investment..
he would have no way to pay it back after he lost it.. the coin is dead and no half million investment will change that.
unless of course they supplement the difficulty increasing and mining revenue getting lower and lower by handing out bribes to people to mine it lol

should we even believe this crap anyway ? ever heard of market manipulation or bias ?
Does the guy / firm offering to invest currently sit on half a billion coins or something ?

what ever.... bs scam coin is bs

Wow, Spoetnik, you don't like DOGE? I'm shocked to learn this. Always thought you were a true fanboy Grin

Seriously, DOGE is dead? Since when? Based on what measure of life? It's still being traded, still a little more profitable to mine than LTC, and way more profitable than BTC, where you'll never reach ROI on those damn ASICs.

Some of the points you make are true, no innovation, amateur developers, etc. But the way you foam at the mouth like a rabid dog(e?) makes it hard to take you seriously. Maybe you should relax and enjoy a few beers? Gonna try that myself Smiley

Ed

It's not that i don't like Doge it's that i don't like the noobs that came and took over and their behavior with it..
And sorry but you sound like one of them.
I may have said doge is dead in the sense that and hold on for it i will of course be re-explaining the obvious *yet again..
that coins do not die they drift off into obscurity and THAT is what i meant and said, millions of times
..warning that was a deliberate attempt at exaggeration so don't check my math (please)
So when i went and gave extremely specific examples on my dedicated doge is bad topic in my sig i gave examples of coins that are MORE profitable
or the exact same.. do i have to repeat myself again ? your statement is wrong and mine is correct and i can prove it easily with no effort.
It's not hard to find something more profitable to mine than LTC or BTC that is a very VERY weak argument for what i hope is obvious reasons..

But hey at least ONE OF YOU have the balls to admit i have made some good and true points in regard to Doge.
And who's foaming at the mouth ? Maybe i would like to see something to do with crypto-currencies somewhere on the internet
that does not have a gay badly photoshop'd childish picture of a dog and the caption saying "much profit" on it and little snotty shits barking idiotic nonsense.

And why in gods name should i have to be taken seriously when you guys say i can't take you seriously ?
That is like a Troll trolling saying i can't troll.. you dish it out then suck it the fuck up and take it cup cake Smiley

I'm not even going to get into WHY i even created that topic i made in my sig either (re-explaining the obvious yet again)
I will give ya a hint though.. It's a contagious disease of a fake currency that is causing harm to all crypto-currencies.
Even though the only thing you got from it obviously is i hate Doge. has it occurred to you guys to wonder why ?
Strange how i have said why millions of times like a broken record and it falls on deaf ears..
You all hear what you want to hear.. typing something out to read for you Doge fanatics is complete waste of time..
You can't read clearly.

Geez, wake up people! Who cares about how doge performs, what is important is the exposure it gives crypto coins. Some curious doge owners may just stumble on the next coin you are trying to pump so be thankful.
All praise to doge for having a strong community and getting mainstream exposure.

Just out of honest curiosity, what interest would venture capitalists have in someone that changed a few lines of code and continued a meme? I don't follow dogecoin much, is it well known that this guy has a lot of them and it was a trade offer? Even then, this article seems much more like a publicity stunt than anything else.

Where does it say that?

right in the article..

"the Sydney-based founder told Techly he is also calling for government regulation of cryptocurrencies – a move that’s unlikely to make him any friends in the Bitcoin community."

We don't need to be raped anymore by governments. What civilian just wakes up and goes hehe lets pay more taxes that never seem to be used for anything involving the common man.

Missed that bit, thanks.

I'm only interested in $$$$.  That's it.  Forget community.  Forget fun.  Forget fun slogans.  I like cold, hard cash.

Actually, that might be a perfect slogan for almost every coin released in the past 6 months.

+1.. but thats the way it is.. there are those who want to innovate.. and those who want to just profit from it. Some people just don't care about money, others are completely devoured by it for life.. Pretty sad to me.

Don't get me wrong.  I perhaps overstated my case a bit.  I would never steal or try to profit from someone's misery.  But to me making money is fun.  I spend money at Kickstarter and Kiva.  But I don't want for someone to come along with big promises who turns out to be a snake oil salesman.  Like I said, I have a lot of Dogecoin, but I don't understand it's present path.  At all.

I hear that. I guess the point I was getting at is it doesn't matter if something is made with the noblest intent, snakes will somehow get involved. And yeah, I have no idea what to expect with this coin going forward.
